Al-Anbar Province.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance bombards US al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi.

In a dispatch posted at 3:25pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired two medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US military base in the al-Warrar area west of ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad.

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the Dawr al-Mukhabarat area in the west of the city as saying that the US al-Warrar base, set up in what was a Presidential Palace, sustained direct hits from the rockets, which sent up plumes of smoke.

US enforces high emergency in al-Anbar, Ninwa Provinces.

US occupation forces declared a 30-day state of high emergency in the provinces of al-Anbar and Ninwa on Tuesday, 6 December. The emergency is to coincide with the US-sponsored “elections” to be held in occupied Iraq under American control on 15 December.

Pursuant to the emergency plans on Thursday , massive US military columns that had headed into al-Anbar Province last week and concentrated east of ar-Ramadi, deployed in large numbers in various parts of the province along with US troops already there.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US snipers had taken up positions atop high buildings in the city overlooking the houses of local residents.

The puppet “Governor” of al-Anbar Province, Ma’min Sami Rashid told a press conference of Iraqi journalists (including the reporter for Mafkarat al-Islam) that the large troop deployment was in preparation for the “elections.”

Some local residents of the Province believe, however, that the American deployment is intended to frighten and deter local residents from voting in the US-sponsored elections so as to reduce Sunni participation and produce a larger percentage of Shi‘i votes, which would go to support the ruling pro-American Shi‘i sectarian parties.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Mosul reported that dozens of US military vehicles had deployed in neighborhoods throughout the city from the largest US base in there ﾐ al-Ghazlani.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb blasts joint patrol in central al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on the new main road in the middle of al-Fallujah.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb damaged one patrol vehicle, wounding two Iraqi puppet troops and one American soldier.

US sniper kills 12-year-old Iraqi boy on his way to city market.

In a dispatch posted at 4:30 pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US soldier had shot and killed a 12-year-old boy who was on his way to the market in al-Fallujah.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Iraqi boy was cut down by a US sniper perched atop the old Immigration Building which the American forces have turned into one of their headquarters in the city. The witnesses said that the killing was for no reason; that nothing had happened to provoke the shooting.

US blocades Nazal neighborhood of al-Fallujah.

US occupation troops imposed a blockade on the entrances to the Nazal neighborhood of al-Fallujah on Thursday morning following combat between Resistance fighters and US troops that had been taking place since Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses told Quds Press that US forces had arrested three persons and the Iraqi puppet “National Guards” had arrested five more in the popular market area.

Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier driving truck in al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 2:45pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot and killed one US soldier and injured a second in al-Fallujah.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the incident took place on the new road in the east of the city. Local residents who witnessed the attack reported that a Resistance sharpshooter shot and killed one American who was driving a military truck carrying construction materials to US bases. After the driver was hit, the truck turned over on the road, seriously injuring the other driver in the vehicle.

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp Wednesday night.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired two 82mm mortar rounds into the joint US-Iraqi puppet military camp in the middle of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad at 9pm Wednesday night.

The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the shells lasted into the inside of the camp.

Three US troops said killed in Resistance ambush in ‘Arab Jabbur, south of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 3:50pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistnce forces had mounted a two-pronged attack on a US column on the main road in the ‘Arab Jabbur area south of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in ‘Arab Jabbur as saying that the attack began when an Iraqi Resistance bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road exploded by a passing US column, destroying one American vehicle. Then Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons opened fire on the column, killing three US troops and wounding two more. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area.

Resistance attacks puppet “National Guard” checkpoint in Baghdad’s al-Mansur district.

In a dispatch posted at 3:35pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet “National Guards” on the main road in the al-Mansur area of western Baghdad

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who live in the ad-Dawyudiyah area of al-Mansur as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the checkpoint and killed two puppet “National Guards” and wounded two more. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in al-Ghazaliyah area of western Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 3:15pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the west-bound highway in the al-Ghazaliyah area of western Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Ghazaliyah who witnessed the incident as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the highway blew up as a column of several American armored vehicles was driving past, disabling one of the vehicles and wounding two US soldieres.

US, Iraqi puppet regime forces stage mass arrests in Baghdad area.

In a dispatch posted at 1:20pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US and Iraqi puppet forces had launched a massive wave of raids and arrests of Sunnis in various neighborhoods of Baghdad and surrounding cities.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ridwaniyah as saying that joint US-Iraqi puppet army forces had surrounded the al-Ma‘alif area of ar-Ridwaniyah in the south of Baghdad.

The Shaykh of the al-Kartan tribes and his five sons were arrested along with their body guard in a raid on their home in which a large amount of money and jewelry were also stolen.

US troops surrounded the al-Bu Musaysir area in the west of Baghdad and arrested five local youths on charges of launching attcks on the occupation forces.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that US and puppet troops were carrying out raids and arrests in several areas of al-Latifiyah, in Babil Province, south of Baghdad, where about 15 individuals, most of them college professors and students, were arrested.

US troops and Iraqi puppet forces surrounded the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji and arrested dozens of local residents, charging them with attacks on US and puppet regime troops.

Resistance bomb blasts “Shock Troops” in Samarra’.

In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Mecca time Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood in the middle of Samarra’.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Samarra’ as saying that the bomb, which was planted by the side of the main road in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood blew up as the “Shock Troop” patrol was passing, destroying one pickup that was part of the patrol and killing four “Shock Troops.”

Bayji.

Resistance attacks puppet police patrol in Bayji.

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked an Iraqi puppet police patrol near the al-Asalah area of northeastern Bayji.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Asalah who witnessed the battle as saying that the Resistance fighters surprised the puppet police patrol on the road to the ar-Riyad area. The Resistance set fire to one of the patrol vehicles killing four puppet policemen and wounding two more of them.

Balad.

Two US troops reported killed in bombing near Balad.

In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a column of several American Humvees in the city of Balad on the south road to ad-Dujayl.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Balad as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to ad-Dujayl blew up by the US column, disabling one American Humvee and killing two US soldiers. Two other American troops were wounded in the bombing.

Buhriz.

Resistance bomb blasts US column near Buhriz.

In a dispatch posted at 4pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column in Buhriz, northeast of Baghdad.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of Buhriz as saying that a bomb that had exploded by a passing column of American Humvees and armored vehicles, destroying one of the armored vehicles and killing or wounding the four US troops aboard it.

Resistance ambushes puppet army patrol in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 4:35pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked a patrol of Iraqi puppet regime troops on the main road in tha az-Zuhur neighborhood of central Mosul in northern Iraq.

The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the neighborhood who witnessed the incident as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the patrol, killing three puppet army troops, one of them a lieutenant, and wounding a fourth. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area.

Resistance fighters attack Peshmergah checkpoint.

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Thursday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked a Kurdish separatist Peshmergah checkpoint near a headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdisatn political party, in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the checkpoint, killing three pro-American Peshmergah militiamen and wounding two more. The Resistance fighters then left the area.

Resistance bombs US-occupied base in al-Hawijah.

In a dispatch posted at 12:15pm Mecca time Thursday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had shelled the al-Bakarah military base that the Americans have taken over and turned into their headquarters in the city of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Hawijah who witnessed the attack as saying that three medium-range Katyusha rockets blasted directly into the American-occupied base, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

US soldier reported killed in bombing in an-Nasiriyah.

In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Mecca time Thursday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column in the southern Iraqi city of an-Nasiriyah.

The an-Nasiriyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road to the al-Imam ‘Ali Base west of the city blew up as a column of three Humvees and several US trucks loaded with provisions passed by. The explosion disabled one of the trucks, killing one US soldier and wounding a second.
