Resistance bomb blasts US Marines late in the day on Wednesday.
In a bulletin posted at 5:45pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported from al-Qa’im that a short time earlier an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US Marine patrol near the elementary school in the 12 Rabi‘ al-Awwal neighborhood of the city.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb exploded when a number of US Marines who were on a foot patrol in the area approached a garbage barrel by the side of the road. The explosion killed or wounded four Marines.
After the blast, US forces surrounded the neighborhood and announced that they were searching for a person who had been standing 100 meters away from the blast site and was carrying a device in his hand at the time.

Resistance fighters battle US troops on Saudi-Iraqi border.
In a dispatch posted at 4:25pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier fighting had broken out between Iraqi Resistance fighters and a US military patrol at the ‘Ar‘ar border complex on the Iraqi-Saudi frontier.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the area reported that a US Humvee was totally destroyed in the fighting. US helicopters could be seen pursuing the Resistance fighters as they drove towards the Iraqi interior. The correspondent reported that the combat between the two sides lasted for about half an hour.
A source in the command of the puppet “Border Guards” told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent by telephone that American occupation troops had prevented what he called the infiltration of a group of Resistance fighters from Saudi Arabia. The Border Guard source made no mention of American casualties, but the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent observed an American Humvee on fire following the attack. After the battle, US forces could be seen surrounding the whole area. US helicopters were searching for the attackers who had managed to withdraw following the battle.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol east of al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:15pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US patrol on the main road east of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast disabled one Humvee, wounding four US troops who were aboard it, one of them seriously.
Resistance fighter lobs grenade at puppet “Iraqi National Guard” troops.
In a bulletin posted at 11:15am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported An Iraqi Resistance fighter had attacked an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road north of al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who lie in al-Fallujah as saying that an Iraqi Resistance fighter threw a hand grenade at an Iraqi puppet “National Guard” patrol north of the city, killing two puppet guards and wounding two more of them.
Resistance battles US troops Tuesday night.
Fierce fighting between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US occupation troops took place Tuesday night on the main road near the old Nationalization building intersection in al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported local witnesses as saying that the fighting took place around 7pm local time on Tuesday night and that Resistance fighters armed with machine guns and medium weapons disabled one Humvee and wounded three US soldiers, one of them seriously. After the engagement, the Resistance fighters withdrew from the area.
Resistance fighters spray puppet army checkpoint with gunfire shortly after midnight Wednesday.
Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked a checkpoint manned by Iraqi puppet regime forces at the entrance to the housing complex in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, south of al-Fallujah city, spraying the checkpoint with a hail of gunfire early Wednesday morning..
The ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that after midnight early Wednesday, Iraqi Resistance fighters had opened fire on the checkpoint, wounding an Iraqi puppet army officer and three puppet troops. The regime soldiers were taken to a hospital in the residential area for treatment.

In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an Iraqi puppet “National Guard” patrol on an-Nasr wa-as-Salam Road east of Abu Ghurayb, some 30km west of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the an-Nasr wa-as-Salam neighborhood as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main old road blew up as a puppet “National Guard” patrol drove past, setting fire to one of the guard vehicles and killing two of the puppet guards and wounding another three of them.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Bu ‘Isa who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted in an unpaved road blew up under an American column of several armored vehicles and Humvees, destroying one armored vehicle. The blast killed one US soldier and wounded three more of the troops who had been aboard the vehicle.

In a dispatch posted at 4:45pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a puppet police patrol near the Kam Sarah on the main road in the Baghdad al-Jadidah area of southeastern Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast set fire to one patrol vehicle, killing four puppet policemen and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a fierce battle had taken place between Resistance fighters and a joint US-Iraqi puppet army force in the al-Fallahat area of the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji on Wednesday.
The at-Taji correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the fighting broke when Resistance fighters ambushed the joint US-Iraqi puppet force as it was carrying out a massive campaign of house-to-house raids and arrests in most areas of at-Taji. The Resistance fighters destroyed three Iraqi puppet military vehicles and one US Humvee, killing seven Iraqi puppet troops an wounding three more of them. Two American soldiers were also killed in the engagement that left two more US troops wounded.
The correspondent reported that after the attack the joint US-Iraqi puppet regime forces rounded up dozens of at-Taji residents. US helicopter gunships also bombarded several local houses and farm fields and groves in the al-Fallahat area, destroying a number of houses and killing at least seven local civilians and wounding another 12.

US soldier reported killed when Resistance fighters attack US-Iraqi force engaging in house raids and searches Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 3:45pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that fierce fighting broke out between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US and Iraqi puppet forces when Resistance men attacked a detachment of US and Iraqi puppet regime troops as they were carryingout house-to-house raids, searches, and mass arrests in the al-Mushahadah area just north of Baghdad
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a joint force that was raiding several neighborhoods of al-Mushahadah came under Resistance attack. The Resistance fighters disabled one pickup belonging to the Iraqi puppet forces, and one American Humvee, killing two Iraqi puppet troops and one US soldier. One US soldier was severely wounded and two Iraqi puppet troops were injured in the engagement.

In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US column on the road between Balad and ad-Dulu‘iyah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted on the road to ad-Dulu‘iyah blew up as a column of US Humvees and Bradley armored vehicles was passing by. The blast disabled one Bradley, killin an American soldier and wounding two more US troops.

Resistance bombards US headquarters in Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in the southern citadel area of Samarra’.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of the citadel area as saying that plumes of smoke rose into the sky following the barrage.
At-Tarimiyah.
Ten US troops reported killed, four Iranian officials captured in two-pronged Resistance attack north of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that violent battles between Iraqi Resistance fighters and joint US-Iraqi puppet army troops had broken out on the main road in at-Tarimiyah, north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of at-Tarimiyah as saying that fighting broke out when two bombs exploded by a column of armored vehicles carrying Iranian officials together with vehicles carrying Iraqi puppet army soldiers and US troops in Humvees. The explosions destroyed one Humvee and damaged a second.
Then Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, including PKS machine guns and RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades attacked the column sparking a one-hour firefight in which three vehicles belonging to the Iraqi puppet “National Guard” and one armored vehicle driven by Iranian authorities were destroyed. The battle forced the American troops to call in reinforcements.
The sources said that apparently Resistance units prepared an ambush for the US reinforcements not far from where the first attack had taken place. The Resistance fighters clashed with a joint US-Iraqi puppet army column, destroying two US Humvees and two Iraqi puppet “National Guard” Zeal troop transports.
Altogether in the two ambushes, at least 10 US soldiers and 15 Iraqi puppet army soldiers were were killed and 20 US and Iraqi puppet army troops were wounded. Six Iraqi Resistance fighters were killed and three more of them wounded in the engagement.
In a statement circulated around mosques in the city, the Iraqi Resistance confirmed that they had taken four Iranian officials prisoner in the course of the battle.

Bomb blasts puppet “Scorpion Brigade” troops.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Scorpion Brigades” near the al-Yusufiyah Bridge west of al-Latifiyah on the road to al-Yusufiyah south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Latifiyah as saying that the bomb went off by a patrol of four pickups belonging to the puppet “Scorpion Brigades,”setting fire to one vehicle and killing three “Scorpion Brigade” troops and seriously wounding a fourth.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol near Ba‘qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a patrol of several American Humvees on the road between Ba‘qubah and the as-Sadah region, northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Ba‘qubah puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the road to as-Sadah blew up as a US patrol was passing by. The explosion disabled one Humvee, killing or wounding the members of its four-man crew of US soldiers.
Al-Miqdadiyah.
Resistance ambush kills two puppet police near al-Miqdadiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:15pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had attacked a patrol of Iraqi puppet police in the al-Miqdadiyah area northeast of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Miqdadiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons heavily damaged a police vehicle, killing two puppet policemen and wounding two more of them.

Amid exchange of gunfire, Resistance attackers free captive Resistance fighter from hospital.
In a bulletin posted at 1:40pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier in the course of a battle, Iraqi Resistance fighters had liberated one of their members who had been captured.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a doctor in Kirkuk Hospital as saying that more than 20 armed and “frightening” Resistance fighters had attacked the hospital. The fighters exchanged gunfire with the hospital guards and the guard who had been placed over the prisoner in his room, killing seven guards in all and wounding two more. The Resistance attackers freed the captive fighter, and drove away in three cars. The Iraqi puppet police said that the name of the fighter was Yusuf Muhammad and that he had arrived in the facility with several bullet wounds.

Resistance bombards US al-Ghazlani camp in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 11:24am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the US al-Ghazlani base in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul with four heavy 120mm mortar rounds
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Mosul as saying that the shells blasted directly into the al-Ghazlani camp, sending plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.
