‘Anah.
Resistance bomb blasts US column near ‘Anah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US column on the main road to the city of al-Hadithah in western Iraq.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the east of the village of Rayhan blew up as a column of several US armored vehicles and Humvees was driving past. The explosion disabled one of the armored vehicles and wounded four US soldiers who were aboard it, two of them seriously.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance bombards US camp in ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired three 82mm mortar rounds into the US military facility that the Americans have set up in the former Citizenship and Residency Office Building in downtown ar-Ramadi.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported local residents as saying that two of the shells blasted directly into the American camp, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
Al-Fallujah.
Seven American troops reported killed in early morning battle with Resistance fighters.
In a dispatch posted at 1:45pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters from the al-Jaysh al-Islami organization armed with light and medium weapons and hand grenades had engaged in a gun battle with US forces in al-Fallujah at dawn on Sunday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that the half-hour-long battle left more than seven US soldiers and two Resistance fighters dead. The witnesses said that the Resistance fighters pressed their attack so hard that US troops abandoned their positions under Resistance gunfire and took cover in a nearby abandoned school. One witness described how the American troops ran quickly away under heavy Resistance fire. The Resistance fighters then dispersed after American helicopters arrived on the scene.
Before that, however, the Resistance fighters were able to seize a number of small arms that the US troops had abandoned when they fell back from their positions.
After the battle, US forces surrounded the whole area and launched house-to-house raids on all the homes in the neighborhood without finding any sign of the Resistance fighters, according to a source in the Iraqi puppet police who spoke with the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier west of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the road to the touristic area west of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road to the touristic area blew up as a column of several Humvees passed by, disabling one of them and killing one US soldier. Two other American troops were wounded in the bombing.
Resistance bomb blasts US patrol near al-Fallujah’s Industrial Zone.
In a dispatch posted at 9:50am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US patrol on the new main road near the industrial zone in the eastern part of al-Fallujah.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the new road blew up as a US patrol was driving past, disabling one Humvee and wounding three American soldiers who were aboard it, one of them seriously.
Al-Qa’im.
Woman prisoner released in al-Qa’im, says many women being held in occupation prisons surreptitiously.
US occupation forces released a woman prisoner whom they had been holding in detention for three weeks in the western Iraqi city of al-Qa’im on Saturday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that Sihr Salih ‘Ayyadah al-Mahlawi, 27, was released by the Americans on Saturday after having been arrested and jailed on charges of planning a Resistance operation, according to what the US soldiers said at the time of her arrest.
Relatives of Sihr al-Mahlawi told Mafkarat al-Islam that their daughter confirmed that there were dozens of women prisoners in the occupation’s prisons whose names have not been added to the lists maintained by the Red Cross or Red Crescent and whose arrests have not been announced. She said that all the prisoners were Sunni Iraqis and that some of the women had been in prison for as long as two years. The family refused to say whether their daughter had been subjected to torture or attacks.
Abu Ghurayb.
Resistance bomb blasts US Humvee in Abu Ghurayb.
In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US armored vehicle on the main road in Abu Ghurayb, some 30km west of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Abu Ghurayb reported eyewitnesses as saying that an armored Humvee was engulfed in flame, inside and out. The witnesses said they saw several US troops sprawled on the ground in their blood after the explosion.
After the attack, US force surrounded the area and closed the street a kilometer away. They then evacuated the five dead and wounded.
The Brigades of the 1920 Revolution Resistance organization announced its responsibility for the attack in a statement circulated in Abu Ghurayb after the bombing, a copy of which statement was obtained by Mafkarat al-Islam.
Baghdad.
Resistance car bomber leaves two US soldiers reported dead in eastern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 4:25pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven an explosives-laden car into a joint US-Iraqi puppet army column on the highway in southeastern Baghad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the Resistance attacker blasted into the column, disabling one American armored vehicle and destroying a vehicle belonging to the Iraqi puppet army forces. Two US troops and four Iraqi puppet soldiers were killed and three American soldiers and two Iraqi puppet troops were wounded in the blast.
Resistance ambushes puppet “Shock Troops” in ‘Arab Jabbur area south of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had ambushed a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” on the main road in the ‘Arab Jabbur area south of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the patrol, killing three of the “Shock Troops” and wounding another four of them.
After the attack, the Resistance fighters withdrew from the area. There were no reports indicating that they suffered any losses in their ranks.

Al-‘Azim.
Twenty civilian townspeople die in US bomb raid on peaceful houses.
In a dispatch posted at 10:25am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US warplanes had bombed several houses in the area of al-‘Azim, some 95km north of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-‘Azim as saying that US fighter-bombers attacked four peaceful houses, leveling them to the ground and killing 20 local people, most of them women and children, in addition to wounding 13 others townspeople, some of them seriously.
The witnesses said that the area that the American warplanes attacked had been peaceful and there were no targets there that could be regarded as having a military character, nor were there any Resistance fighters in the area.
Al-Mada’in.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet army patrol in al-Mada’in.
In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an Iraqi puppet army patrol on the main road in the middle of al-Mada’in southeast of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Mada’in who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road blew up by an Iraqi puppet army patrol, setting fire to one vehicle and killing two puppet army soldiers and wounding three more of them.
The correspondent reported that one civilian was killed when the Iraqi puppet regime troops opened fire indiscriminately around the area following the blast.
Puppet troops carry out mass sectarian arrests in southern al-Mada’in.
In a dispatch posted at 5:10pm Mecca time Sunday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that puppet “Interior Ministry Lion Brigade” forces launched an extensive campaign of raids and arrests of Sunnis in the al-Lajj area in the south of al-Mada’in.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Mada’in reported eyewitnesses in the village of al-Lajj as saying that the “Interior Ministry” troops closed the main and side roads in their area and imposed a curfew. They then started storming into houses. The puppet troops arrested 57 local people, on the pretext that they had been involved in carrying out attacks on the US occupation troops and the Iraqi puppet forces.
Local residents told Mafkarat al-Islam that there had been no attacks on the occupation troops or their Iraqi puppet forces in their area at all.
Ba‘qubah.
Resistance ambush leaves 13 Iraqi puppet army troops dead Saturday.
In a dispatch posted at 10:55am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters mounted a two-pronged attack on Iraqi puppet forces on the road running north from Ba‘qubah to al-‘Azim on Saturday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Ba‘qubah as saying that the clash began when Resistance fighrers attacked a column of seven Iraqi puppet army vehicles, setting two of them on fire.
Then the Resistance fighters detonated a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road, setting a third vehicle alight. The fighters followed that up by opening fire with rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns, destroying two Iraqi puppet army vehicles.
In the end, five Iraqi puppet army vehicles were destroyed and 13 Iraqi puppet troops killed, four of them officers, one with the rank of major. Four other Iraqi puppet army soldiers were wounded in the ambush. The Resistance fighters then withdrew from the area having suffered no losses in their own ranks.

Resistance bombards US camp in Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four 82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters in the al-Mu‘tasim neighborhood of Samarra’, north of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Samarra’ reported eyewitnesses as saying that the mortar shells were fired into the US camp from two different directions and that they all struck the camp directly, sending plumes of smoke billowing up from within the facility.
Al-Ishaqi.
Resistance bomb blasts US supply convoy north of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Mecca time Sunday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an American convoy of several trucks loaded with provisions for US bases on the road that runs north from Baghdad to Tikrit.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Ishaqi as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the main road from Baghdad blew up as the convoy drove past on its way to the American bases with an escort of armored Humvees. The correspondent reported that the explosion totally burned up one of the trucks, killing its driver who was working for the US occupation forces.
Babil Province.
Al-Yusufiyah.
Resistance ambushes puppet army column west of al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons had attacked a column of Iraqi puppet regime troops on the Buzaybiz road west of al-Yusufiyah.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Yusufiyah who witnessed the attack as saying that the Resistance fighters ambushed the column of several pickups on the rural Buzaybiz Road. Two Iraqi puppet army vehicles were set ablaze and three puppet regime troops killed. Another four puppet army troops were wounded in the ambush.
After carrying out the attack the Resistance fighters withdrew successfully from the area without having suffered any losses.
Ninwa Province.
Mosul.
US soldier reported killed in roadside bombing southeast of Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the main road near the Tall ar-Rumman area southeast of Mosul.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road as a column of four armored vehicles and two Humvees was driving past. The blast disabled one of the armored vehicles, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them.
Resistance fighters attack Peshmergah checkpoint in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 11:45am Mecca time Sunday morning Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a checkpoint manned by Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militiamen in the al-Karamah area of Mosul in northern Iraq.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of the al-Karamah neighborhood as saying that the Resistance fighters, armed with light weapons, attacked the Peshmergah checkpoint near a building occupied by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan party run by Jalal at-Talibani, who is now also the US-installed puppet “President of Iraq.”
The Resistance fighters killed three Peshmergah gunmen and wounded three others before withdrawing from the scene.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in Irbil Sunday night.
In a bulletin posted at 6:40pm Mecca time Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a column of armor-plated four-wheel drive American military vehicles just west of Irbil in far north Iraq. The explosion destroyed one of the vehicles and heavily damaged a second.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Irbil reported that US and Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militiamen had surrounded the scene of the explosion and imposed a curfew in the area. American ambulance raced to the scene of the blast and evacuated the wounded to their private American hospital. At the time of reporting, US troops and Peshmergah gunmen were still surrounding the entire area.
Al-Basrah Province.

Members of notorious puppet “Internal Affairs Directorate” assassinated in al-Basrah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Mecca time Sunday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that men in a passing car opened fire on workers for the puppet “Internal Affairs Directorate” in the al-Hayaniyah district of al-Basrah in the pre-dawn hours of Sunday. The area is said to be a stronghold of support for Shi‘i religious leader Muqtada as-Sadr.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Basrah reported that individuals in a late-model car opened fire on three officials in the “Internal Affairs Directorate” on 60 Street in the al-Husayn neighborhood, killing them instantly. The report was confirmed by the Iraqi puppet police.
Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the puppet “Directorate of Internal Affairs” is the largest agency accused of involvement in assassination and murder, particularly of Sunnis. Most officials and members of the “Directorate” are also members of the pro-American Shi‘i sectarian Badr Brigades.
In another incident, a member of the “Directorate of Internal Affairs” was arrested when caught tearing down election posters of Sunni candidates cooperating with the occupation and running in the US-sponsored “election” set for 15 December.
