Resistance bomb blasts Iraqi puppet army troops near Rawah.
In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol east of Rawah on the highway to al-Hadithah.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Rawah who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the highway near the village of ar-Rayhanah blew up as the joint patrol was driving past.
The explosion disabled one Iraqi patrol vehicle, killing one Iraqi puppet soldier and wounding two more of them.

Al-Anbar puppet Municipality Director assassinated.
In a bulletin posted at 1:10pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier, Iraqi Resistance forces had assassinated the puppet Director of the al-Anbar Municipality, Dr. Muhammad Khalaf as he came out of his house on his way to work.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance attackers withdrew from the area after the attack. At the time of reporting, Iraqi puppet police had cordoned off the entire area.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance attacks joint US-Iraqi post in al-Fallujah at noon Wednesday.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters set up in the old citizenship building in the middle of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad at 12 noon local time.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters attacked the building with pipe rockets, destroying parts of the structure and setting fire to it. No information on the nature or extent of US casualties was available due to the intensity of the attack.
Resistance stages powerful attack on al-Fallujah puppet police station.
In a dispatch posted at 12:50pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had mounted a fierce attack on the al-Fallujah puppet police station, in the first such attack since the Second Battle of al-Fallujah concluded in January 2005.
The al-Fallujah correspondent in the city reported shopkeepers near the puppet police station as saying that the Resistance fired several S5K rockets and mortar rounds directly into the station, destroying large parts of it and setting the first floor of the building on fire.
The correspondent reported that the number of puppet police killed or wounded in the attack was unknown, but that helicopters had transported more than 15 soldiers, whether dead or wounded was not clear, out of the building.
US declares full alert in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:10pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier US forces had declared a full alert in al-Fallujah, in the wake of repercussions following the assassination of Shaykh Hamzah al-‘Isawi, the First Mufti of the city.
All entrances and exits from the city were completely closed during the funeral of the Shaykh, which ended not long before the correspondent filed his report, and hundreds of US troops with tanks and armored vehicles deployed in the streets and lanes of the city.
Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military patrol in the al-Jaghifi neighborhood of northern al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Fallujah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to the joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp in the al-Jaghifi neighborhood blew up by a passing US patrol, damaging one vehicle and seriously wounding two US soldiers.

Resistance bomb blasts puppet “Rapid Deployment Force” patrol in Baghdad al-Jadidah.
In a dispatch posted at 5:35pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by an Iraqi puppet “Rapid Deployment Force” patrol on the highway in the Baghdad al-Jadidah area in the southeastern part of the occupied Iraqi capital.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted under a pile of garbage by the side of the road in Baghdad al-Jadidah blew up by the patrol, destroying one patrol pickup and killing two “Rapid Deployment Force” puppet soldiers. Two other soldiers on the force were wounded in the attack.
Resistance ambushes puppet Iraqi “Shock Troops” in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had ambushed a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
Residents of ad-Durah told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked a patrol of four pickups, killing two “Shock Troops” and wounding five more of them. Two Resistance fighters were also wounded but were able to withdraw from the area after the engagement.

Resistance car bomber blasts into joint US-Iraqi puppet army column.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a joint US-Iraqi puppet army column on the main road in al-Mushahada, north of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Mushahadah reported eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance fighter managed to drive his car bomb into a joint column and detonate, destroying one Iraqi puppet army troop carrier and disabling one American armored vehicle.
Six Iraqi puppet army troops were killed and seven other soldiers wounded in the attack, two of them Americans, the correspondent reported.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military patrol on a farm road east of al-Mushahadah (which is just north of Baghdad).
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Mushahadah reported local residents who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of the farm road blew up as a patrol of five Humvees drove over it, disabling one vehicle and killing one American soldier and wounding two more US troops.

In a dispatch posted at 10:45am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet military patrol on the road to the agricultural area near Tikrit, north of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Tikrit reported eyewitnesses among the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up by a passing joint patrol, disabling one Iraqi vehicle and killing three Iraqi puppet troops and wounding a fourth.

Two US troops reported killed when Resistance bomb sets tank ablaze.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military patrol made up of several armored vehicles and a Humvee on an agricultural road south of al-Latifiyah, which is located south of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Latifiyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of an unpaved farm road south of al-Latifiyah blew up under a US tank. The witnesses said that the explosion set fire to the tank and killed two US soldiers and wounded two more American troops.

Resistance bombards US camp near al-Hawijah.
In a dispatch posted at 6:15pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into a US military camp in the al-Hawijah area southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq on Wednesday.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Hawijah as saying that the Resistance bombardment sent plumes of smoke rising from inside the US-occupied compound.
