Resistance bomb in at-Ta’mim section of ar-Ramadi leaves one US soldier reported dead.
In a dispatch posted at 5:05pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet military patrol on the main road in the at-Ta’mim area of southern ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad. The blast followed American and Iraqi puppet army raids on houses in the area during the day.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of at-Ta’mim who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to the 5 Kilometer area east of ar-Ramadi blew up by the joint patrol, disabling one American Humvee and killing one US soldier and wounding three more of them.
US, Iraqi puppet troops raid homes, arrest 30 local residents of southern ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 5:15pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US and Iraqi puppet army forces on Wednesday had carried out a wave of raids and arrests of several neighborhoods to the south of ar-Ramadi.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported eyewitnesses as saying that a joint US-Iraqi puppet army force surrounded the areas of al-Qadisiyah and at-Ta’mim to the south of the city and proceeded to raid houses and arrest local residents. The correspondent reported that about 30 individuals were rounded up in the American-led mass arrest campaign, all charged with involvement in attacks on the US occupation army and its Iraqi puppet forces.
American troops take over ar-Ramadi College facility, expelling 3,500 students and threatening to shoot anyone who approaches the campus.
US occupation troops seized control of a building in the College of Sciences at ar-Ramadi University around noon on Wednesday. The facility, used to teach Arabic and English languages as well as finance and business administration, is being turned into an American military camp following the eviction of 3,500 male and female students, according to Dr. Ahmad ‘Abd al-Malik as-Sa‘di, the Dean of the College who spoke with Mafkarat al-Islam.
Dr. as-Sa‘di described the American seizure of the college building as “savage and barbaric,” noting that the US troops threatened to shoot anyone who approached the vicinity of the college campus.

US soldier reported killed in Resistance ambush in Hit.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on the road to one of their joint camps in the middle of the city of Hit in western Iraq.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fighters ambushed the patrol, setting fire to one of the Iraqi puppet military vehicles and severely damaging an American Humvee. One US soldier was killed and another wounded in the attack, which also left three Iraqi puppet soldiers dead.

Resistance bombards US al-Habbaniyah base.
In a dispatch posted at 10:55am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the US base known as as-Saqr Air Base in al-Habbaniyah, west of Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Fallahah village, which lies near the base, as saying that four medium-range Katyusha rockets blasted into the middle of the American-occupied facility, sending smoke rising into the sky. The witnesses said they saw helicopters fly in over the base and surrounding areas at low altitude after the attack.
Al-Fallujah.
Noon bomb blast wounds US troops in al-Fallujah’s industrial zone.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on the main road in the middle of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad, at 12 noon local time Wednesday.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying tha a bomb that had been planted on the main road in the industrial zone of the city had blown up by a column of several Zeal troop transport vehicles. The blast damaged one of the troop transports and wounded two US soldiers.
US soldier reported killed as Resistance mounts repeated attacks on US, Iraqi puppet forces in al-Fallujah on Tuesday-Wednesday night.
In a dispatch posted at 10:45am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had mounted several attacks on US and Iraqi puppet forces in the city of al-Fallujah during Tuesday-Wednesday night.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb exploded by a US patrol on ash-Sharikah Road in the north of al-Fallujah late on Tuesday night. The explosion disabled one Humvee. Then Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the patrol. The correspondent had no information regarding the nature or extent of US casualties, however, because the attack took place during the hours of US-imposed curfew.
Fierce fighting broke out in northwest al-Fallujah’s al-Jawlan neighborhood between Resistance fighters, equipped with light and medium arms, and US and Iraqi puppet army troops around 9pm Tuesday night. In this instance as well, no information on the nature or extent of casualties was available because of the curfew.
In a third attack, an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed an American soldier in the Nazal neighborhood in the south of al-Fallujah. The American had was taking part in a US foot patrol in the area at the time of the attack. After the attack, US forces surrounded Nazal and raided and searched houses in the area. The Americans posted a reward of US$500 for information leading to the capture of the Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter, but no sign of him was found.

In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military patrol on the road to the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road to the northern provinces blew up as a patrol of four Humvees drove past. The explosion disabled one of the American Humvees, wounding four US troops, one of them seriously.

In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US military column on Muhammad al-Qasim Highway in the east of Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of Muhammad al-Qasim blew up as a patrol of several American armored vehicles and Humvee was driving past. The blast disabled one armored vehicle, killing an American soldier and wounding two more of them.

In a dispatch posted at 12:40pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the al-‘Amiriyah area of western Baghdad.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported residents of al-‘Amiriyah as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road that runs to the al-Jihad neighborhood blew up as a patrol of five American Humvees was driving past. The explosion disabled one of the Humvees, killing two US troops and wounding a third.
Puppet “National Guards” assassinate Sunni tribal Shaykh and four of his sons in dawn raid in northeast Baghdad.
A Sunni chief of the ad-Dulaym tribe and four of his sons were shot to death by Iraqi puppet “National Guards” during an early-morning raid on their home in the ad-Dawli‘i section of northwest Baghdad’s al-Hurriyah district.
A source in the Iraqi puppet police disclosed to Quds Press that a force of puppet “National Guards” riding in 10 Iraqi government forces’ cars attacked the home of Shaykh Fadil Sarhid ‘Ali, one of he Shaykhs of the ad-Dulaym tribe, at 4am Wednesday morning. The source said that the US-installed regime’s troops killed Shaykh Sarhid along with four of his sons in front of the women and children in the house.
The source, who asked not to be identified, noted to Quds Press that “the operation took place during the hours of curfew, specifically at 4am,” adding that the bodies were riddled with bullets. After the raid, the source said, the uniformed attackers “fled to an unknown destination.”
Quds Press noted that the attack took place at a time when the American-installed regime of Ibrahim al-Ja‘fari was escalating its drive against the Resistance forces ﾐ officially known as “terrorists,” throughout occupied Iraq. Quds Press said that despite official denials that regime troops had been involved such killings, all evidence points to the involvement of agencies of the puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry” in attacks on Iraqi civilians.

Resistance bombards puppet military base in al-Yusufiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:25pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired six 82mm mortar rounds into the headquarters of the puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in al-Yusufiyah, south of Baghdad on Wednesday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Yusufiyah reported eyewitnesses as saying that the violent bombardment set off explosions and sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.

Resistance bomb rips through puppet “Shock Troop” patrol south of Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 5:20pm Mecca time Wednesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops” on the main road south of Samarra’.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Samarra’ who witnessed the bombing as saying that an explosive device that had been planted by the side of the main road leading to al-Jubayriyah, south of Samarra’ had blown up as the “Shock Troop” patrol drove past. The explosion destroyed one of the troops’ vehicles, killing five of the “Shock Troops” who were aboard it.

Resistance ambushes pro-American Peshmergah gunmen.
In a dispatch posted at 10:40am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons as well as pipe rockets attacked a column of armor-plated cars belonging to Kurdish separatist Peshmergah militiamen on the road to al-‘Azim, south of Kirkuk.
Residents of al-‘Azim told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance fighters destroyed two of the armored vehicles, and killed five of the Peshmergah gunmen and wounded another three of them seriously.

Resistance fires two Grad rockets into US base in Kirkuk Airport.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired two medium-range Grad rockets into Kirkuk International Airport, which the US military has taken over and turned into its main base in the northern Iraqi city.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police in the city as saying that the Resistance rockets set off two powerful explosions followed by secondary blasts inside the American-occupied airport.

Resistance attacks puppet forces in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had carried out two attacks on Iraqi puppet army forces in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
Eyewitnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons had attacked a puppet police patrol near the al-Muthanna neighborhood in the middle of the city, setting fire to one of the patrol vehicles and killing three puppet policemen and wounding a fourth.
In a separate attack, Resistance fighters attacked a joint patrol of puppet police and puppet “Iraqi National Guards” in the an-Nur neighborhood in the middle of town, setting fire to two patrol cars and killing five and wounding two members of that joint patrol.

Resistance bomb blasts Peshmergah patrol early Wednesday morning.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a pro-American Kurdish separatist Peshmergah patrol in the Bakhtiar neighborhood of northeastern Irbil at 7:30am local time Wednesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Bakhtiar as saying that a bomb that had been planted in the middle of an unpaved road in the town had blown up under the Peshmergah patrol, destroying one of their vehicles, and killing two Peshmergah gunmen. Two other Peshmergah fighters were wounded in the bomb attack.
