Resistance ambushes US truck convoy Friday morning, two truck drivers killed.
Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets attacked a convoy of American trucks in the western city of al-Hadithah at 9am local time Friday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance forces ambushed the US convoy as it drove along the main road near the city, setting fire and destroying two of the American trucks that were loaded with provisions for US troops. Two truck drivers who worked for the US military were killed in the ambush.
After the attack, US forces closed the highway and helicopters were observed landing on the road.
Ar-Ramadi.
Iraqi Resistance bombards US al-Warrar base at dawn Friday.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired four Katyusha rockets into the US al-Warrar base west of ar-Ramadi at 6am local time Friday morning.
Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that columns of smoke rose into the sky from within the US-occupied compound after the bombardment, which set off explosions inside the base. American warplanes appeared in the sky over ar-Ramadi after the attack.
American troops used “obscene methods of interrogation” on doctors from ar-Ramadi General Hospital following Tuesday bomb explosion.
US troops humiliated and insulted Iraqi doctors working in ar-Ramadi General Hospital following the explosion of an Iraqi Resistance bomb in the vicinity on Tuesday, 18 October, Quds Press reported Thursday.
Medical sources told Quds Press that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol that was near the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. The blast destroyed an American Humvee.
The sources said that following the explosion, US troops closed off the whole area and then arrested all the doctors in ar-Ramadi General Hospital. The physicians were subjected to obscene forms of interrogation for many long hours, the sources said. They were also insulted and American troops opened fire on the hospital and nearby houses before the doctors were finally released.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb blasts US column late Friday afternoon.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in tha al-‘Annaz area in the Zawbi‘ district south of al-Fallujah at 5pm local time Friday afternoon.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast damaged one vehicle in a column of several American Humvees, wounding the members of its four-man crew.
After the attack, US forces surrounded the area, closing all roads in the vicinity and thn helicopters came to evacuate the dead and wounded.
Resistance ambushes puppet “Iraqi National Guard” camp in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:15pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a camp of the Iraqi puppet “National Guard” in the Jubayl area of northwestern al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam quoted residents of Jubayl who witnessed the attack as saying that the Resistance fighters were armed with light and medium weapons, including RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades and PKS machineguns as well as mortars.
The correspondent reported that the fighting lasted about half an hour and left seven Iraqi puppet “National Guards” dead or wounded. Witnesses said that the Resistance attackers were able to withdraw from the scene without having suffered any losses in their own ranks.
One US soldier reported killed in early afternoon bombing in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area ミ a southern suburb of the city of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad, at 2pm local time Friday afternoon.
The local correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the explosion took place as a US patrol was passing, and that it disabled one American armored vehicle, killing one US soldier.
American forces surrounded the area and carried out raids following the attack. The US troops arrested two members of the al-Bu ‘Isa tribe who live in the area. At the time the correspondent filed his report ミ posted at 2:55pm Mecca time Friday afternoon ミ US troops were still deployed in the al-Bu ‘Isa area of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.
Resistance bombards US camp in al-Fallujah shortly after midnight.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired seven mortar rounds into the US headquarters set up in the middle of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad at 1am local time Friday morning.
Witnesses told the local Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that the mortar rounds blasted into the American-occupied facility known as “as-Saymak” which the US occupation forces set up in the former City Youth Center.
Violent explosions shook the American camp and flames and smoke rose into the sky from within the compound following the barrage. No information on the nature or extent of US casualties was available because of the heavy security around the camp and the fact that the attack took place during the hours of curfew.
In a separate report the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that a Resistance attack on the as-Saymak American camp set one Humvee on fire as it was leaving the camp in a US military patrol. Resistance fighters attacked it with RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades as well as PKS machineguns.
Abu Ghurayb.
One US soldier reported killed in Friday morning bombing.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded near the notorious Abu Ghurayb American prison camp by a US patrol that was driving along the main road to the city, some 30km west of Baghdad, at 8:30am local time Friday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported witnesses in the area as saying that the blast destroyed one American Humvee, killing one US soldier and wounding two more.
Afterwards, US troops deployed around the area where the explosion took place, and then launched widespread searches along the roads and at intersections.
Baghdad.
US soldier reported killed in midday bombing in Sab‘ al-Bur north of Baghdad.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the path of a US patrol in the Sab‘ al-Bur area north of Baghdad at 1:30pm local time Friday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bombing took place on a farm road in the Sab‘ al-Bur area when a US patrol was driving past. The explosion disabled one American Bradley armored vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding two more.
Afterwards, US troop carried out raids and searches and arrested one farmer on his land in the area.
Four American soldiers reported killed in late-morning bombing in at-Taji.
A high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb went off by a US military column on the main road in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji at 11am local time Friday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast destroyed one American Humvee, killing four US troops.
The Americans closed the main road after the attack and surrounded the area. US troops were observed evacuating the bodies.
US soldier reported killed in mid-morning bombing in ar-Rashidiyah area.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the ar-Rashidiyah area of northern Baghdad at 10am local time Friday morning.
Sources in the Iraqi puppet police told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that the blast went off by the main road as a US patrol was passing by. The sources said that the explosion destroyed one American Humvee, killing one US soldier and seriously wounding a second. After the attack, American forces sealed off the area and hauled away the wreckage of the Humvee.

Three US troops reported killed near Samarra’ early Friday morning.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road to the city of Samara’ at 7am local time Friday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast occurred on the road linking Samarra’ with Baghdad in the south at a time when a US patrol was driving along that route.
The explosion destroyed one American Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding a fourth, the witnesses reported. American troops then encircled the area where the attack occurred and evacuated the bodies of the dead and the wounded man to their base.

Al-Miqdadiyah.
Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing at noon.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road to the city of al-Miqdadiyah, northeast of Baghdad at 12 noon local time Friday.
Eyewitnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that the blast occurred as a US patrol was driving along the main road to the city and that it destroyed one Humvee, killing three US troops who were aboard it.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that after the attack, US forces closed the road and surrounded the area. They then mounted searches and arrested three individuals who, they claimed, were “connected” with the explosion.

Kirkuk.
Resistance bomb kills a reported four US troops in Kirkuk midday Friday.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the ad-Dibs area of Kirkuk in northern Iraq at 1pm local time Friday.
The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported sources in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the blast occurred on the main road in the ad-Dibs area to the north of Kirkuk as a column of US vehicles was driving along the road.
The blast destroyed one Humvee, killing four American soldiers. After the attack, US troops closed the road and evacuated the bodies. They also raided and searched nearby houses and then withdrew from the area.

Mosul.
Resistance ambushes Iraqi puppet police patrol in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 4:45pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had ambushed a patrol of Iraqi puppet police in the al-Wahdah neighborhood area southeast of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul near the road to Kirkuk.
Residents of al-Wahdah who witnessed the attack told the Mosul correspondent for Mafkart al-Islam that the Resistance fighters, armed with light and medium weapons, attacked a patrol of four Land Cruiser vehicles belonging to the puppet police. The attackers set fire to one of the vehicles, killing or wounding four puppet policemen inside, and then withdrew from the area.
Two US troops reported killed in early morning bombing in Mosul.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the outer road that links Mosul with northern provinces at 7:30am local time Friday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of an ourter highway blew up as a US patrol passed by, destroying a Humvee. Two US troops were killed instantly and two others who also were in the vehicle were wounded.
After the attack, US forces encircled the scene of the attack, preventing anyone from approaching. They closed the road for 45 minutes and evacuated the bodies from the scene.
