Al-Anbar Province.
Al-Fallujah.
Seven US Marines reported killed in massive bomb blast west of al-Fallujah Wednesday afternoon.
An Iraqi Resistance high-explosive bomb exploded by a US Marine column that was heading towards al-Fallujah at 2pm local time Wednesday afternoon. The high-yield bomb had been planted at a crossroads 5km along the road from al-Fallujah to the touristic area west of the city.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a high-ranking source in the puppet police west of al-Falujah as saying that the explosion destroyed a Zeal personnel carrier, killing seven American Marines. Local witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that four of the American troops were burned to death inside the vehicle.
Upon arriving on the scene of the blast, the correspondent found that US vehicles had surrounded the area. The Americans had rounded up numerous Iraqis whom they had blindfolded and bound and loaded in open trucks, charging them all with preparing the attack.
A number of local eyewitnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the people who had been arrested were soda pop vendors and individuals who sold fuel on the black market. The witnesses said that the Americans captured them simply because there was no one else around whom they could arrest after the deadly explosion.
Al-Karmah.
Two US soldiers reported killed in roadside bombing at noon.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb that had been planted on a farm road in the al-Karmah area east of al-Fallujah blew up by a passing US patrol at 12 noon local time Wednesday.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb exploded on the road linking al-Karmah with a branch of the Tigris River.
The explosion destroyed an American Humvee and left two US soldiers dead and two other American troops wounded.
After the attack, US forces surrounded al-Karmah and began house-to-house searches in the nearby area. The American troops arrested four local residents, believing that they had some connection to the attacks.
Ar-Ramadi.
Resistance bomb kills two drivers in American supply convoy Wednesday morning.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US convoy of supply trucks and fuel tankers heading towards US bases on the highway in the 160km area west of ar-Ramadi at 10am local time Wednesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb went off by a passing American supply convoy, setting ablaze and destroying a tanker loaded with fuel. The vehicle’s two drivers of unknown identity were killed in the blast.
After the attack US forces closed the highway to traffic and a US helicopter was observed landing on the highway. At the time the correspondent filed his report, posted at 12:50pm Mecca time, fire was still burning in the fuel tanker.
As-Saqlawiyah.
One US soldier reported killed in Resistance bombing in as-Saqlawiyah.
In a dispatch posted at 12:25pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb that had been planted by the side of a farm road in the al-Bu Shajal area of as-Saqlawiyah exploded by a US patrol as it passed through.
Eyewitnesses in the area told Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road in the west of as-Saqlawiyah blew up, destroying a US Humvee and killing one US soldier and wounding two more.
Afterwards, American forces sealed off the area for an hour and then withdrew, having arrested three local residents.
Al-Habbaniyah.
Resisatance bombards US al-Habbaniyah base early Wednesday.
Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a mortar barrage on the US base in al-Habbaniyah at 8am local time Wednesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that six mortar rounds blasted into the US base, setting off explosions inside the US-occupied facilty and sending smoke billowing into the sky.
Swarms of US fighter planes and helicopters prowled the skies above the western Iraqi city following the barrage.
Baghdad.
US soldier reported killed in afternoon bombing in Khan Darri.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the Khan Darri area on the old road linking Baghdad with al-Fallujah to the west at 3:30pm local time Wednesday afternoon.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Khan Darri reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast destroyed one American Humvee, killing one American soldier and wounding three more.
After the explosion US forces opened fire indiscriminately, damaging a civilian car in the area and wounding its driver.
Two US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing north of Baghdad Wednesday afternoon.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji at 3pm local time Wednesday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in at-Taji that a bomb blew up as a US military column passed by along the main road, destroying one American Humvee and killing two US troops and wounding three more American soldiers.
After the blast, US force closed the road and evacuated the dead and wounded from the area.
Resistance blasts US base in Saddam International Airport with rocket barrage Wednesday afternoon.
In a bulletin posted at 2:50pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, a Mafkrat al-Islam correspondent in western Baghdad reported that minutes earlier the Iraqi Resistance had bombarded Saddam International Airport ミ a facility that US occupation forces have turned into one of their local strongholds.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-‘Amiriyah in western Baghdad reported eyewitnesses as saying that as of that moment more than nine rockets had blasted into the US-occupied airport and the areas to the south where US forces are encamped.
Resistance bombards “green zone” as US occupation stages “trial” of Iraqi President.
In a dispatch posted at 11:55am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four heavy 120mm mortar rounds into the area of the Republican Palace in Baghdad - the area dubbed the “green zone” by the Americans, where the US maintains its largest embassy in the world under the tightest possible security, and where the British embassy and headquarters of the US-installed “Iraqi government” are also to be found.
The barrage coincided with the “trial” in that “zone” which is being staged by the US occupation, itself is illegal under international law, of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
Sources in the Iraqi puppet police who witnessed the bombardment reported that they saw four heavy mortar rounds blast into the “green zone.” They had no information on the nature or extent of casualties, however, due to the high security under which the American-run compound is kept.
Bombardments continue . . .
In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area near the “green zone” reported that a short while earlier two mortar shells believed to be of large caliber blasted into the “green zone,” producing huge explosions as the American “trial” of the Iraqi President continued.
The correspondent reported it was the third attack targeting the “green zone” since the start of the “trial.”

Tikrit.
Resistance batters US military facilities in Tikrit.
In a bulletin posted at 2:50pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, the Tikrit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Iraqi Resistance was at the time of writing carrying out a series of violent rocket attacks on US Marine headquarters in various places around the area.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that for 15 minutes intensive Resistance bombardments had battered the presidential palaces that US forces have taken over and turned into their local headquarters. Thick clouds of smoke rose from the US target areas.
Babil Province.
Al-Iskandariyah.
Three US soldiers reported killed south of Baghdad late Wednesday morning.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the al-Iskandariyah, south of Baghdad, at 11am local time Wednesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported witnesses as saying that the blast destroyed one American Humvee, killing three US soldiers and wounding a fourth.
After the attack, American forces closed the road and evacuated the bodies from the area. Later the US occupation authorities acknowledged the attack.
Ninwa Province.
Mosul.
Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing Wednesday morning.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in the al-Islah az-Zira‘i neighborhood of Mosul at 9am local time Wednesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported sources in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the blast went off as an Ameican patrol was driving past. Three US soldiers were killed and a fourth wounded, the sources reported.
After the attack American troops encircled the area and deployed in large numbers throughout the area.
