Al-Anbar Province.

Ar-Ramadi.

Fighting rages in ar-Ramadi late Friday afternoon.

In a bulletin posted at 4:55pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in ar-Ramadi, some 110km west of Baghdad reported that at the time of writing fierce fighting was under way between Iraqi Resistance fighters US troops backed up by helicopter gun ships in the al-Mal‘ab area and in the central part o the city.

The correspondent reported eyewitnesses as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons as well as pipe rockets attacked US troops, sparking clashes that were still going on. At the time of writing, one Humvee had been disabled and at least two US soldiers wounded.

There were also unconfirmed reports that US warplanes had bombed a house in the al-Bu Farraj area to the north of ar-Ramadi, totally destroying the dwelling and killing four civilian residents, three of them women and children.

Mid-morning Resistance bomb leaves one American reported dead in ar-Ramadi.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the middle of ar-Ramadi at 10:30am local time Friday morning.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in ar-Ramadi reported eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side fo the main road to the provincial center blew up as an American patrol was passing by.

The blast set fire to one Humvee, killing one American soldier and seriously wounding three more, the correspondent reported.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance forces bombard US camp south of al-Fallujah Thursday-Friday night.

Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US al-‘Amir base in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, south of the city of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad on the night of Thursday ﾐ Friday. The rocket attacks sent clouds of black smoke billowing into the sky over the US-occupied facility, Quds Press reported.

Rawah.

Two US soldiers reported killed in early morning bomb explosion.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the road from Rawah to al-Qa’im on the border with Syria in western Iraq at 7am local time Friday morning.

Residents in the city of Rawah told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that had been planted in the al-Mafraq area blew up as a patrol of five US Humvees drove past. The explosion set fire to one of the vehicles, killing two US troops and wounding two other American soldiers.

Baghdad.

Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter kills US soldier in Baghdad’s al-A‘zamiyah neighborhood Friday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier who was a part of a foot patrol in the northern Baghdad district of al-A‘zamiyah at about 2pm local time Friday afternoon.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-A‘zamiyah as saying that the US soldier was shot dead while taking part in a foot patrol that was accompanied by several Humvees and was on its way to ‘Antar Square in the middle of al-A‘zamiyah. The Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet struck the US soldier directly, killing him instantly. Witnesses said they saw him suddenly just fall dead.

US forces surrounded the area where the attack took place and searched nearby houses, but found nothing.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in Khan Darri west of Baghdad, leaving two US troops reported dead.

In a dispatch posted at 4:20pm Mecca time Friday, afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a patrol of four US Humvees on the main Zawbi‘ road west of Khan Darri to the west of Baghdad.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported residents of Zawbi‘ as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road near the people’s market in the center of the village blew up as a US patrol passed by. The explosion destroyed one American Humvee, killing or wounding its crew of four American troops.

Quds Press quoted eyewitnesses as saying that two of the Americans died in the blast.

After the attack, Mafkarat al-Islam reported, US forces surrounded the area and began searching the civilian residents of the village of Zawbi‘. Quds Press reported that several members of the American detachment opened fire indiscriminately around the area breaking doors on shops in the al-‘Anaz Market where the attack took place. The Americans also attacked and beat a number of local people who happened to be in the market at the time. They then ordered them to close their shops, afterwards an Ameican helicopter emblazoned with a red cross landed in the area to evacuate the dead and wounded.

Resistance car bomber blasts Iraqi puppet army checkpoint south of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 11:50am Mecca time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter had driven an explosives-packed car into an Iraqi puppet army checkpoint in Hur Rajab, south of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Hur Rajab who witnessed the attack as saying that the Resistance fighter blew up his car as he passed through the checkpoint, killing or wounding a number of Iraqi puppet troops.

After the attack, Iraqi puppet forces in the area opened fire indiscriminately around the area.

Resistance bomb blasts joint patrol south of Baghdad early Friday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol on the road leading to Jurf as-Sakhr, west of al-Musayyib and south of Baghdad, at about 8am local time Friday morning.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported a source in the al-Musayyib puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road blew up as the joint patrol passed by, damaging one of the Iraqi puppet army vehicles and wounding three Iraqi puppet army troops, one of them seriously.

Resistance bombards al-Husayn Brigade headquarters early Friday morning.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired four mortar rounds into the headquarters of the puppet “Interior Ministry al-Husayn Brigades” in Jurf as-Sakhr, southeast of Baghdad at 6:30am local time Friday morning.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported eyewitnesses who live in Jurf as-Sakhr as saying that the barrage set off explosions and sent smoke rising into the sky.

Puppet “Interior Ministry” troops shoot up, terrorize Palestinian neighborhood Thursday.

Carloads of members of Iraqi puppet “Interior Ministry’ troops stormed into a Palestinian residential area in eastern Baghdad’s al-Baladiyat area on Thursday morning, 27 October 2005, shooting off automatic weapons and terrorizing the population.

Residents told Quds Press that five cars belonging to the al-Khansa’ puppet police station drove into the housing area on Thursday. A number of the puppet police troops got out of the cars and opened intensive gunfire at the buildings causing terror and panic among residents. The shooting also cut off electricity to the homes, and inflicted considerable damage, including broken windows. The puppet interior ministry policemen also used loudspeakers to shout insults, curses, and threats to expel the Palestinians.

Quds Press noted that this was not the first assault on Palestinian residents in Iraq. Puppet “Interior Ministry” troops had on earlier occasions arrested ant tortured members of the Palestinian community ﾐ which numbers some 45,000 in the country ﾐ most of them residents in Iraq since the Zionist occupation of Palesine in 1948.

In addition, the US-installed “Iraqi Immigration Minister” Suhaylah ‘Abd Ja‘far, had announced the need to deport all the Palestinians from Iraq following the recent Zionist troop redeployment around occupied Gaza.

Salah ad-Din Province.

ad-Dulu‘iyah.

Two American troops reported killed in Resistance attack on US supply convoy.

Iraqi Resistance forces launched a two-pronged attack on a US convoy loaded with provisions for American bases near the ad-Dulu‘iyah area, south of Samarra’.

The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of ad-Dulu‘iyah who witnessed the attack as saying that the battle began when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an American convoy of nine trucks and three Humvees, settin fire to one of the trucks and wounding the driver.

Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, including pipe rockets then attacked the column, setting fire to a Humvee and killing two US troops and wounding another three.

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Resistance mounts mortar bombardment on Iraqi puppet army checkpoint at noon.

Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a mortar barrage on an Iraqi puppet army checkpoint in the Ba‘qubah area, northeast of Baghdad at 12 noon local time Friday.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of Ba‘qubah as saying that an Iraqi puppet army checkpoint on the road in the ar-Rahmah area of the city was struck by five 82mm mortar shells at midday, sending flames and smoke rising into the sky.

The correspondent reported that Iraqi puppet regime troops rushed to close the road to the checkpoint after the barrage and preventing anyone from approaching.

Ninwa Province.

Mosul.

Resistance fighters ambush Wolf Brigade patrol in eastern Mosul Friday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 11am Mecca time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a patrol of puppet “Iraqi Interior Ministry Wolgf Brigade” troops near the al-Wahdah neighborhood of eastern Mosul on the road to Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported residents of al-Wahdah who witnessed the ambush as saying that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons attacked the Wolf Brigade patrol on the road to Kirkuk, setting fire to one of their GMC vehicles and killing three of the Iraqi puppet soldiers and wounding another three of them. Two members of the Iraqi Resistance were wounded in the engagement but were able to withdraw with the other Resistance fighters after the battle.

At-Ta’mim Province.

Shumayt.

One US soldier reported killed in farm road bombing early Friday.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by convoy of troop carriers and Humvees in the Shumayt area west of al-Hawijah at about 9:30am local time Friday morning.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported residents of Shumayt who witnessed the attack as saying that a bomb planted in the middle of an unpaved farm road north of the village blew up as the patrol of three troop transports and four Humvees was driving past.

The blast set fire to one of the personnel transports, killing one American soldier and wounding three more.
