Al-Anbar Province.
Ar-Ramadi.
At least three US troops reported killed in double bombing north of ar-Ramadi.
In a dispatch posted at 6:25pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two Iraqi Resistance bombs had exploded on the road leading to the al-Jazirah area north of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad.
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that two bombs that had been planted facing each other on the side of the main road to al-Jazirah exploded nearly simultaneously as a column of three US troop transports and three Humvees passed by. The double explosion destroyed one troop transport, killing at least four American soldiers and wounding three more, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
Quds Press cited an observer in ar-Ramadi as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of a road in ar-Ramadi exploded by a US troop transport, totally destroying the vehicle and killing at least three US soldiers, whose smoldering bodies could be seen in the area immediately following the attack.
The Americans responded to the bombing by opening fire indiscriminately, killing three Iraqi civilians who happened to be passing by and wounding two others, according to sources in ar-Ramadi General Hospital quoted by Quds Press.
After the attack, US forces surrounded the area called in helicopters, which could be seen prowling the skies above the city.
Al-Khalidiyah.
Tuesday afternoon Resistance bomb attack targets US tank column.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US tank column in the city of al-Khalidiyah at 3pm local time Tuesday afternoon.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Khalidiyah reported residents of the as-Siddiqiyah area who saw the attack as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the main road leading into al-Khalidiyah blew up as a column of four tanks and two Humvees passed by.
The correspondent reported that the explosion did heavy damage to one of the US tanks and wounded three of the American troops inside.
Al-Fallujah.
One Marine reported killed in grenade attack Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance fighter threw a hand grenade at a US military vehicle in the middle of al-Fallujah on Tuesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported sources in the Iraqi puppet army as saying that the attack left one Marine dead and a second Marine seriously ミ probably fatally ミ wounded. The sources said that their vehicle, a Humvee was, as they put it, “slightly disabled.”
Witnesses confirmed that the Resistance attacker was able to escape the area where he carried out the assault, taking advantage of the state of confusion into which the attack plunged the US troops.
Abu Ghurayb.
Resistance bomb blasts Iraqi puppet army column early Tuesday afternoon.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column to the west of Abu Ghurayb, 30km west of Baghdad at 2pm local time Tuesday afternoon.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Abu Ghurayb reported eyewitnesses as saying that a large bomb that had been planted by the side of a farm road aqt the entrance to the Khan Darri area west of Abu Ghurayb blew up as the column of pickups belonging to the Iraqi puppet army passed by.
The witnesses reported that the blast completely destroyed one of the pickups, killing three Iraqi puppet army soldiers and wounding two more.
Baghdad.
Resistance bombards US camp near at-Taji, north of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 3:55pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four medium-range Katyusha rockets into the the US military camp east of the northern Baghdad suburb of at-Taji.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in at-Taji reported eye witnesses in the village of ad-Dulayimah, which lies near the American camp, as saying that the rockets set off violent explosions inside the US-occupied base, sending columns of smoke billowing into the sky.
Three US troops reported killed in dawn barrage on “green zone.”
The Iraqi Resistance fired four mortar rounds into the area of the Republican palace in downtown Baghdad ミ the area known to the US occupation forces as the “green zone” at 6:30am local time Tuesday morning.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army who asked not to be identified as saying that four mortar shells blasted into various parts of the “green zone.” The source added that three US troops and four Iraqi security guards working for the Americans were killed and other people wounded in the attack.
The source said that the barrage damaged one of the buildings in the “green zone” but declined to provide further details as to the identity of the building or the people who worked there.
The so-called “green zone” is the area around the Republican Palace in occupied Baghdad where the US maintains its largest embassy in the world under the tightest possible security, and where the British embassy and headquarters of the US-installed “Iraqi government” are also to be found.
Resistance ambush destroys two US Humvees in north Baghdad.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in the north of Baghdad Quds Press reported Tuesday morning.
Sources in the Iraqi puppet police told Quds Press that the Resistance ambush at the ash-Shu‘lah junction in northern Baghdad left two US Humvees completely burned. The source said that five US Marines were also wounded in the attack.
Afterwards, US troops encircled and sealed off the area, not letting local residents or journalists approach. US Marines, accompanied by Iraqi puppet army troops then launched a campaign of raids and searches in a number of places nearby, hunting for the Resistance attackers.
Quds Press reports that for about a month, Resistance attacks have been sharply escalating despite much tighter security measures by the US military occupation authorities and the Iraqi puppet regime.

Al-Mahmudiyah.
Resistance fighters ambush puppet police patrol Tuesday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance fighters attacked an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the middle of the town of al-Mahmudiyah, south of Baghdad at 4pm local time Tuesday afternoon.
The al-Mahmudiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that an estimated six Iraqi Resistance fighters, equipped with light and medium arms, attacked a puppet police patrol of three Land Cruisers.
The source said that the attack left five of the puppet policemen wounded, two of them seriously.
Diyala Province.
Ba‘qubah.
Resistance fighter blows up among recruits to puppet police forces, killing 10.
An Iraqi Resistance fighter wearing an explosive belt mingled with a group of men gathered to sign up to join the Iraqi puppet police forces in Ba‘qubah and blew himself up.
Quds Press reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the Resistance fighter blew himself up near the Ba‘qubah office of he puppet “Rapid deployment forces,” killing 10 intended collaborators and wounding about eight other would-be puppet policemen.
The source said that the same station had been the target of numerous Resistance rocket attacks and ambushes.
A medical source in Ba‘qubah Hospital told Quds Press that his facility had received 10 bodies and that there were another 20 injured people, five of them in extremely serious condition. The number of dead, the source said, was therefore likely to rise.
Ninwa Province.
Mosul.
Resistance bombards US al-Ghazlani base in Mosul Tuesday morning.
In a bulletin posted at 11:20am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces were, at the time of reporting, intensely bombarding the vast US al-Ghazlani base in Mosul, the largest US facility in northern Iraq.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from the environs of the US base that more than 10 missiles of undetermined type had blasted into the base just shortly before, and the barrage was still underway. The correspondent wrote that sirens were wailing inside the American-occupied facility and a number of pillars of black smoke could be seen rising over the base.
Three helicopters were hovering over the area, one of them opened fire on a position, but the correspondent was unable, at the time, to confirm whether that was indeed the source of the incoming fire directed at the base.
At-Ta’mim Province.
Kirkuk.
Iraqi Resistance assassinates head of “anti-terror office” in Kirkuk.
Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed the puppet “anti-terrorism” chief in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the city reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that Resistance fighters armed with medium machine guns attacked the car carrying Major Fakhir Husayn, the Director of the so-called “Anti-Terrorism Office” in Kirkuk, killing Husayn and an officer who was accompanying him.
The puppet police chief in Kirkuk, Turhan Yusuf, told a number of correspondents that the major had been killed, but tried to minimize the importance of the incident, claiming that he was only one of several officers in the “anti-terror” office, not the director there. Sources in the Iraqi puppet police, however, confirmed that Fakhir Husayn had been the Director of the “Anti-Terrorism Office” in Kirkuk.
