Al-Anbar Province.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance martyrdom fighter pilots explosives-packed fishing vessel into American patrol boat, killing eight US military personnel.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-packed boat into an American patrol boat that used to prowl the Euphrates River. The bomb attack took place near the al-Hadithah dam in western Iraq.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Hadithah reported that the blast totally destroyed the American patrol boat, killing the eight American military men aboard it.

For their part witnesses reported that the Resistance fighter piloted a boat loaded with fishing nets and other gear, giving the impression that he was just another of the fishermen who ply the waters near the dam.

After the attack, US torces closed the entrances and exists from al-Hadithah leading to the River and launched a wave of arrests among all the fishermen and people nearby the scene of the attack.

Monday’s attack was the first known Resistance martyrdom attack of its kind against US occupation forces in Iraq.

Ar-Ramadi.

Two US soldiers reported killed in roadside bombing early Monday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the al- Mal‘ab (playing field) area in central ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad at 2pm local time Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in ar-Ramadi that a bomb that was planted by the side of the road linking al-Mal‘ab with the center of town blew up as a US patrol was passing by, headed into the al-Mal‘ab area.

Witnesses said that the blast set one of the vehicles in the American patrol on fire, killing two US soldiers and wounding three more.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance attack blasts US troops in al-Fallujah Monday evening.

In a dispatch posted at 8:45pm Mecca time Monday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol opposite the as-Sumud sports grounds in al-Fallujah.

Witnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that the blast totally destroyed a US Humvee, killing four American Marines who were aboard it.

Witnesses reported that a US helicopter landed near the scene of the attack and in the lights of US armored vehicles saw them evacuating the bodies of dead US soldiers after the blast.

The correspondent reported that at the time of writing US forces were still on the scene, surrounding the area. They had imposed a curfew and were carrying out searches of the surrounding areas, thinking that the blast had gone off by remote control.

In the wake of a rising wave of Resistance attacks in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, US forces on Sunday began imposing a curfew from 11pm to 5am in the area.

Three US troops reported killed in land mine explosion in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah.

An Iraqi Resistance land min exploded by a US patrol in the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area, south of al-Fallujah proper at 1:15pm local time Monday.

A lieutenant in the puppet so-called “Iraqi rapid deployment forces” in al-Fallujahl, whose men were taking part in the patrol alongside the Americans, told the local correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that the blast came from a home-made land mine that was planted in the middle of an unpaved dirt road. The puppet lieutenant said that the mine was detonated by remote-control and that the explosion destroyed one Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding two more American soldiers, one of them severely. The lieutenant said that that man had received several wounds and fractures in his back, chest, and neck.

US forces encircled the whole area after the attack, closing all roads into the zone.

Five US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing midday Monday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah, south of al-Fallujah city proper in western Iraq at midday Monday.

Witnesses who were near the scene of the attack told the al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that an Iraqi Resistance high-explosive bomb exploded by a US patrol near a residential compound in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah at 1pm local time Monday, setting one US Humvee on fire and killing its five-man crew.

Resistance sharpshooter kills US soldier Sunday night.

An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the al-Bu ‘Isa village near al-‘Amiriyah late on Sunday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported on the authority of witnesses. The American soldier among other US troops who were on a foot patrol.

Eight Iraqi puppet troops killed in western al-Fallujah bombing.

In a dispatch posted at 1:25pm Mecca time Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up under a column of Iraqi puppet troops in the west of al-Fallujah. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area reported a source in the puppet army as saying that the bomb blast destroyed a troop transport vehicle belonging to the puppet army, killing eight Iraqi puppet troops, one of them an officer.

US and Iraqi puppet troops surrounded the area known as “between the bridges” in western al-Fallujah after the blast, specifically the area near the al-Fallujah four mill, and imposed a curfew there. Al-Fallujah Hospital officially announced that it had received the bodies of six killed in the attack. Two more bodies were said to be on their way to the hospital in a separate vehicle.

Resistance bomb attack in ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah midday Sunday.

A high-explosive Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up in the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah area, south of al-Fallujah city proper, at 12 noon local time on Sunday. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the explosion totally burned up one American armored vehicle. Witnesses said that no one came out of the blasted armored vehicle after it burst into flame.

Support troops joined the stricken US column after the attack and opened fire with unusual intensity on the car sales lot that was near the scene of the bombing. There were no reports, however, of any civilians being killed or wounded by the wild American gunplay.

Al-Baghdadi.

Four mercenaries killed in Iraqi Resistance ambush near US ‘Ayn al-Asad base early Monday.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a column of armor-plated vehicles of the type used by foreign mercenary contractors working for the American occupation army on the road leading to the US ‘Ayn al-Asad base in the area of al-Baghdadi in western Iraq at 7am, local time Monday morning.

Residents of al-Baghdadi told Mafkarat al-Islam that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, including BKC machine guns and RPG7 rocket-propelled grenades, attacked the column of vehicles, setting two of them on fire and killing four foreigners and wounding two more.

Baghdad.

Four US troops reported killed in double bombing near ar-Rashidiyah late Monday afternoon.

Two Iraqi Resistance roadside bombs exploded next to a US column on the road that links the occupied Iraqi capital with ar-Rashidiyah and at-Tarimiyah to the north at 4pm local time Monday afternoon.

Residents of the northern Baghdad suburb of ar-Rashidiyah told a correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Baghdad that two bombs that were planted by the side of the road leading to at-Tarimiyah blew up almost simultaneously 4km from the northern entrance to ar-Rashidiyah. The witnesses said that the bombs exploded as a column of several American Humvees was passing.

The explosions destroyed two US Humvees, killing four American soldiers and wounding five more.

Resistance fighters in Baghdad kill chief of puppet “shock troop forces.”

The Iraqi Resistance assassinated Major General Salim Lutfi, the commander of the Iraqi puppet so-called “shock troops” according to a communiqu posted in Baghdad mosques by the Base Qa‘idah of the Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a source in the puppet police confirmed that Major General Salim Latif was attacked but provided no details as to whether he was killed or survived the attack.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent, however, spoke with eye witnesses who confirmed the claim carried in the al-Qa‘idah communiqu, that puppet General Latif had indeed been killed in the attack.

The communiqu stated that the Squadron of Muhammad ibn Maslamah of al-Qa‘idah carried out the attack on the ad-Durah highway in the south of Baghdad, killing Major General Latif instantly and wounding two of his companions.

The correspondent noted in his dispatch posted at 4:35pm Mecca time Monday afternoon that several districts of the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah remained closed off at the time of writing.

Resistance car bomber blasts joint US-Iraqi puppet patrol in Baghdad Monday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom carbomber attacked a joint US-Iraqi puppet force column in the middle of Baghdad at about 9:30am local time Monday morning.

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Qahirah neighborhood of Baghdad as saying that a Resistance fighter drove the explosives-laden car into the middle of the joint column destroying two American Humvees and killing or wounding about eight US troops.

Resistance bomb leaves a reported three US troops dead near Abu Ghurayb early Monday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol south of Abu Ghurayb at 9am local time Monday morning, local residents reported.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Abu Ghurayb reported residents of az-Zaydan village, in the southwest of the Abu Ghurayb area, as saying that a bomb planted on a farm road leading to al-Yusufiyah in the south blew up as a patrol of four US Humvees passed by. The explosion totally destroyed one of the US vehicles, killing three American troops and wounding two more.

Al-Mada’in.

Resistance car bomb blasts US column on south side of al-Mada’in Monday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road near the southern entrance to the city of al-Mada’in, southeast of Baghdad at 3:30pm local time Monday afternoon.

Residents of al-Mada’in who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that an explosives-packed car that was parked by the side of the road exploded as a column of four US armored vehicles and three Humvees passed by. The blast totally destroyed one armored vehicle and set a Humvee on fire, killing or wounding about nine US troops.

American forces encircled the scene after the attack, preventing local people and journalists from approaching. A US Black Hawk helicopter landed to evacuated the wrecked vehicles and the bodies of the dead and the wounded from the area.

Salah ad-Din Province.

Balad.

Resistance bombards US base in Balad Monday.

In a dispatch posted at 6:10pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired four medium-range Katyusha rockets into the US headquarters in the area of Balad, 60km north of Baghdad on Monday.

Residents of the al-Bu Hishmah village where the American base is located reported that four rockets blasted into the American base, sending clouds of smoke billowing into the sky as a result.

Bayji.

Resistance bomb blasts US truck convoy near Bayji early Monday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US truck convoy hauling provisions and equipment for US forces on the road linking Bayji with al-Hadithah in western Iraq at 8am local time Monday morning.

Residents of Bayji who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that was planted by the side of the road to al-Hadithah blew up as a column of eight trucks loaded with provisions and equipment and three Humvees passed by.

The explosion set one of the trucks on fire, killing one collaborator driver and wounding a second.

At-Ta’mim Province.

Kirkuk.

Resistance unleashes heavy barrage on US base in Kirkuk airport.

In a bulletin posted at 2:05pm Mecca time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired several powerful Grad rockets into the main US base in Kirkuk, located in the occupied Kirkuk International Airport.

The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack sent clouds of smoke billowing over the central part of the base as two powerful explosions followed the attack and sirens wailed inside the US-occupied facility.

A source in the Iraqi puppet army told Mafkarat al-Islam that the attack killed or wounded more than 15 US Marines by preliminary count. US helicopters could be seen flying in over the base after the attack.
