Al-Anbar Province.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance bomb kills reported three US troops Monday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column at the entrance to Barwanah village, northeast of the city of al-Hadithah, 250km west of Baghdad at 4pm local time Monday afternoon.

Residents of Barwanah told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb was apparently planted under a pile of trash on the side of the road at the entrance to the village. It blew up when a column of seven US Humvees passed by.

The witnesses said that the explosion set one of the Humvees on fire, killing three US soldiers and wounding a fourth.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance mounts powerful rocket barrage on US al-Warrar base Monday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a fierce rocket barrage on the US al-Warrar base located west of ar-Ramadi at 5pm local time Monday afternoon.

Residents of the Kilometer 5 area west of ar-Ramadi told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city that they believed that the rockets that blasted into the US base were of the Grad type. They set off four violent explosions that shook the base and were followed by secondary blasts as American munitions began going off. Clouds of smoke billowed up over the American-occupied facility.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb blasts US troops as they raid houses looking for attackers.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood in the south of al-Fallujah at 9am local time Monday morning.

Residents of ash-Shuhada’ who witnessed the explosion told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb was planted by the side of the road leading to the entrance to the ash-Shamali neighborhood and that it went off by the US patrol that was raiding and searching houses looking for “suspects” who had launched attacks on US invader troops in the city.

The witnesses said that the explosion destroyed one US Humvee, killing two US troops and wounding four more.

Al-Baghdadi.

Resistance bombards US ‘Ayn al-Asad base. Rockets reportedly blast mess hall, killing six US troops.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired six medium-range Grad rockets into the US ‘Ayn al-Asad base in the al-Baghdadi area west of Baghdad at 10am local time on Monday morning.

A member of the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” who asked not to be identified, told Mafkarat al-Islam that four of the six rockets blasted into the main mess hall (restaurant) on the American base, killing a sergeant and five other US troops and wounding four more, some of them severely.

Baghdad.

Deadly Resistance martyrdom car bombing blasts US column in al-Bayya‘ section of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 11:45am Mecca time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-packed car into a column of several US Humvees in the al-Bayya‘ area in the southwest of Baghdad.

Initial reports from Iraqi puppet police and puppet forces indicated that the blast destroyed two Humvees, killing all the US troops aboard them. Witnesses reported seeing other Humvees ablaze in addition to the two that were reported as destroyed.

US forces, as usual, encircled the area after the blast, preventing anyone from approaching.

Iraqi Resistance communiqu: Resistance forces now 40 percent larger than last year, Resistance strength is growing and all Iraqis, regardless of religious background, will be welcomed on joining the struggle.

The Iraqi Resistance issued a communiqu on Monday morning, that was distributed among most mosques of Baghdad, saying that the forces of the Iraqi Resistance had increased 40 percent over last year, and that the strength of the Resistance was being augmented further every day, despite the fierce battles that were being waged against the occupation throughout the country.

The communiqu, which was posted on doors and outer walls of mosques, stated that in spite of the continuing campaigns against the Resistance by the Americans and the stooges, the apostates who have sold out their religion and their country, the Resistance is increasing in strength every day and every hour.

Those who thought that the Resistance had grown weak and was on its last legs have had their hopes dashed. The latest operations that the Resistance has carried out throughout Iraq against the occupation and its lackeys is proof of its strength. The communiqu warned the stooges and the Americans that the arm of the Resistance was long and could reach them.

The Resistance statement also said that all the different Iraqi Resistance groups welcomed all Iraqis with open arms, regardless of their religious background, to join them in the fight or at least to join them with their prayers in the fight against the occupation in the drive to expel the invaders from the Land of the Two Rivers and the Capital of Harun ar-Rashid.

Resistance bomb blasts US armored column in al-Kazimiyah midday Monday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US column in the al-Kazimiyah area of northern Baghdad at midday on Monday.

Residents of al-Kazimiyah told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb was planted by the side of the road leading to the neighboring district of al-A‘zamiyah to the east. The explosive device blew up as a column of eight US armored vehicles and two Humvees was passing by.

Witnesses told Mafakarat al-Islam that the blast went off at 1:30pm local time, and that it disabled one American armored vehicle, killing one US soldier and wounding four more.

Babil Province.

Al-Musayyib.

Resistance bomb targets joint US-puppet police patrol Monday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet police patrol in the az-Zaydiyah area north of al-Musayyib, 110km south of Baghdad.

Residents of az-Zaydiyah village told the al-Musayyib correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that an Iraqi Resistance bomb was planted by the side of the main farm road in the village and that it exploded at 4:15pm local time Monday afternoon. The blats set one pickup belonging to the Iraqi puppet police on fire and severely damaged a US Humvee.

Three Iraqi puppet policemen were killed in the bombing and four others wounded. Two American soldiers were also wounded in the attack.

Al-Latifiyah.

Resistance bomb kills reported six US troops. Americans beat up, arrest Iraqi puppet cameraman who tried to film US bodies.

An Iraqi Resistance time bomb, planted by the side of a road in al-Latifiyah, south of Baghdad, exploded by a passing US armored column at 10am local time Monday morning.

A source in the Iraqi puppet army told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Latifiyah that the bomb went off by a convoy of several American armored vehicles. The blast destroyed one armored Humvee, killing six US troops who were aboard it and wounding one other American soldier who was aboard the vehicle behind the one destroyed in the explosion.

US troops severely beat up and then arrested one TV cameraman when he tried to film the American corpses sprawled on the ground by the flaming US vehicle. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the arrested photographer works for the local Iraqi an-Nahrayn propaganda TV channel.

US Marines surrounded the area where the attack took place and closed all roads leading to the area 500 meters away, preventing any other photographers or journalists from covering the story.

Diyala Province.

Khan Bani Sa‘d.

Resistance bombs blast US column at noon Monday.

Two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a US column near Khan Bani Sa‘d, south of Ba‘qubah at noon local time on Monday.

Witnesses told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Diyala province that two Resistance bombs were planted by the side of the main road at the northern approaches to the Khan Bani Sa‘d area. The explosive devices went off as a column of seven US armored vehicles and four Humvees was passing by at 12 noon local time Monday.

The blasts destroyed one US armored vehicle and set one Humvee on fire. Seven American troops were killed and five more wounded in the attack.

US forces surrounded the area after the blasts and US Black Hawk helicopters landed in the area to haul away the wreckage and the bodies of the dead and wounded Americans.

Maysan Province.

Al-‘Amarah.

Resistance shoots down British helicopter over al-‘Amarah early Monday.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot down a British helicopter that was hovering in the sky over the Qal‘at Salih area of the southern Iraqi city of al-‘Amarah at dawn on Monday.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that they saw the helicopter with flames coming from its sides and then falling to earth and exploding.

A member of the puppet so-called al-Karrar Brigade of the Iraqi puppet army confirmed the crash of the British helicopter, adding that the two-man crew of the British craft were killed.

British and Iraqi puppet troops of the so-called al-Karrar Brigade surrounded the crash site and searched for the crew who were believed to have landed near the wreck of the helicopter. The occupation troops feared that the Resistance might photograph them and then show the photographs to the media.

The Iraqi Resistance group the Brigades of the Jihadi 1920 Revolution took responsibility for shooting down the British helicopter in a communiqu, a copy of which was obtained by the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent.

Ninwa Province.

Sinjar.

Five US troops reported killed in car bombing in Sinjar Monday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column near Sinjar, west of Mosul in northern Iraq at 5pm local time Monday afternoon.

Residents of Sinjar told the Mosul correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam that an explosives-laden Caprice car, parked by the side of the main road leading into Sinjar blew up whe a column of eight US tanks and two Humvees passed by on their way into town.

The blast completely destroyed one American tank, killing five US troops and wounding two more, the witnesses reported.

Mosul.

Four US troops reported killed in Monday morning ambush on fuel convoy.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US truck convoy on the main road leading to Mosul airport (which the American invaders have turned into their main base in the area) loaded with fuel for US bases in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul at 9am Monday morning local time.

Residents of as-Sukkar village on that road who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that a number of Resistance fighters, armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets, ambushed the American convoy, setting three of the fuel trucks on fire and killing four US soldiers and wounding two more.

Resistance martyrdom car bomber blasts US column in Mosul.

In a dispatch posted at 10:15am GMT Monday, QudsPress reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden car into the midst of a US military column at the al-Yarmuk intersection in Mosul and blew up, completely destroying one of the American vehicles and inflicting casualties among the US occupation forces.

As US forces closed off the scene of the attack and prevented anyone from approaching, an American helicopter was observed landing at the site to transport the casualties to one of the US bases nearby. The Americans as usual made no report on casualties.

Iraqi Resistance fighters shoot and kill personal aide to the puppet “governor” of Mosul’s Ninwa Province.

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am GMT Monday, Quds Press reported a spokesman for the puppet “government” of Ninwa Province as saying that the Resistance attackers had opened fire on Captain Ahmad Mu’ayyad, the personal companion of the puppet “governor” in front of his house in the al-‘Arabi neighborhood of Mosul, killing him.

Resistance fighters eliminate Kurdish collaborator party official Monday morning.

Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed Jirjis Muhammad Dhannun, the director of the headquarters of the collaborationist Kurdish chauvinist “Kurdistan Democratic Party” in the al-Faysaliyah area of Mosul. Witnesses told Quds Press that Jirjis and his son were killed in front of their home in the al-Karamah neighborhood of the city on Monday morning.

Resistance assassinates puppet policemen in Mosul Sunday.

On Sunday, Iraqi Resistance fighters had killed a lieutenant in the local puppet police along with two other puppet policemen. That attack also wounded a high-ranking officer in the puppet police as the lot of them were on patrol in service to the US occupation, Quds Press reported Monday.
