Al-Anbar Province.

Al-Qa’im.

Seven Marines die in martyrdom attack by youth whose family was killed by American bombs on Sunday.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden motorcycle up to a US foot patrol in the village of ar-Rummanah near al-Qa’im on the border with Syria and blew up at 3pm Wednesday afternoon, local time.

Colonel Sa‘di Zaydan of the puppet so-called “Iraqi rapid deployment force” told Mafkarat al-Islam that a martyrdom fighter who could not have been more than 20 years old drove an explosives-laden motorcycle into a patrol of US Marines and blew himself up, killing seven Americans.

Mosques in al-Qa’im announced that the martyred youth was a native of that city and that his father, mother, and sister had all been killed in the savage American bombing of the city on Sunday, 19 June. The Iraqi Resistance took responsibility for Wednesday’s martyrdom attack.

US evacuates more than 40 wrecked vehicles from al-Qa’im.

US forces hauled away nine wrecked American vehicles from the northern parts of al-Qa’im Wednesday morning, lading them on giant American trucks and taking them off in the direction of al-Hadithah.

Sources in the Iraqi puppet army told Mafkarat al-Islam that all the vehicles had been totally or partly destroyed and that the Americans had to provide themselves air cover in the form of helicopters that hovered above them during the whole time when they worked evacuating the wrecks.

The source said that this was the fourth batch of wrecked American vehicles that the US forces had hauled out of al-Qa’im in the last two days as more than 40 disabled or destroyed US vehicles have been taken away in the last 48 hours.

Puppet ministry announces receipt of 74 bodies of Iraqi puppet troops from al-Qa’im, confirming Resistance statistics on puppet casualties in the five-day battle.

A high ranking source in the puppet so-called “Iraqi defense ministry” announced that his “ministry” had received 74 bodies of members of the Iraqi puppet forces killed in the latest five-day Battle of al-Qa’im.

The source, who refused to be identified, told Mafkarat al-Islam in Baghdad that the puppet “ministry” also listed 19 of its puppet troops as “missing in action.” The number of dead and missing is particularly high, Mafkarat al-Islam noted, when it is rembered that the total number of puppet troops who took part in the battle was 250.

The source, who holds the rank of brigadier general in the puppet army, told Mafkarat al-Islam of his disgust at the behavior of the Americans who evacuated their own dead ﾐ of which, he said, there were dozens ﾐ but leave the Iraqi puppet troops in morgue freezers until Iraqi vehicles can be sent for to pick them up.

The puppet general said that the operation of evacuating the Iraqi puppet dead would be much easier if they too could be taken by helicopter to Baghdad for distribution to their families in southern Iraq.

The statement by the Mafkarat al-Islam’s source that 74 bodies of puppet troops had been received by the puppet ministry coincided with the figures contained in a communiqu issued by the Iraqi Resistance on Tuesday, which reported that the Resistance had killed “more than 70 Iraqi puppet troops” in the battle of al-Qa’im. Al-Fallujah.

Resistance pounds US camp on eastern approaches to al-Fallujah Wednesday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar rounds at a US barracks and headquarters at the eastern gate of al-Fallujah at 6pm local time Wednesday afternoon.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah reported that the shells killed or wounded 15 Americans in the facility, which US after the end of the last battle of al-Fallujah in late January 2005.

Husayn Jasim, a commander of the puppet so-called “force for the keeping of order” confirmed the American casualty toll of 15. As regards US material losses Jasim said that the bombardment totally destroyed three Humvees and also the giant electricity generator that supplied the base with power.

After the attack, US helicopters prowled the skies above the area searching for Resistance fighters. None were found.

Resistance bomb blasts US troops heading for al-Fallujah Wednesday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded by a column of several US military vehicles east of al-Fallujah. A source in the Iraqi puppet army, who asked to remain anonymous, told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb went off next to the US column as it was on its way into the city, destroying one Humvee and killing five US troops and wounding a sixth.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the blast was so powerful that it blew the Humvee nearly two meters. The same source in the Iraqi puppet army said that several of the Americans’ bodies were incomplete because of the force of the explosion.

Al-Baghdadi.

Resistance martyrdom bomber blows up amidst US patrol west of Hit Wednesday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-packed car into a US military patrol in the al-Baghdadi area west of Hit on Wednesday morning.

Major Mahdi ‘Abd al-Kazim of the Iraqi puppet army told Mafkarat al-Islam that the blast destroyed one armored Humvee and disabled a second, killing several US troops aboard them.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the explosion left more than 11 American troops dead and that their corpses were all evacuated aboard armored Humvees to the US ‘Ayn al-Asad base in Hit.

The Army of the Partisans of the Sunnah Prophet’s Practice distributed a communiqu around local mosques about an hour after the attack Wednesday morning in which the Resistance group took responsibility for the attack.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance car bomb blasts checkpoint in ar-Ramadi late Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb blew up by a checkpoint in ar-Ramadi according to a dispatch posted at 6:27pm Mecca time Wednesday, by the Saudi News Agency (WAS). WAS reported that the attack inflicted damage on a US military vehicle and wounded a number of Iraqis. As usual, WAS had no information on the nature or extent of American casualties.

Baghdad.

American soldier kills little girl to win a bet.

US forces shot and killed a nine-year old Iraqi girl as she came out of her school following final exams in Baghdad. A medical specialist in Baghdad’s al-Yarmuk General Hospital told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that an American sniper opened fire on ‘A’ishah Ahmad ‘Umar, killing her.

For its part, the US military occupation forces announced that they had begun an investigation of the Marine who shot the little girl and promised to punish him if he is found guilty.

A source in the Iraqi puppet army told Mafkarat al-Islam that the American soldier was very drunk at the time of the killing and that he was withdrawn from his observation post after the incident.

The father of ‘A’ishah, who works for the Railroad Department said that residents in the area where his little daughter was killed told him that the American had been betting with his buddies whether he could hit the little girl who had come out of the school some 700 meters from the US observation post.

For its part the American propaganda TV station called “al-‘Iraqiyah” blamed what it called “terrorists” (by which they meant the Iraqi Resistance) for the shooting of the little girl, but statements by the US military and the Iraqi puppet forces exposed the “al-‘Iraqiyah” story to be a lie.

Resistance fighters kill four Badr Brigade gunmen on puppet police patrol in ad-Durah.

Iraqi Resistance fighters ambushed a white pickup truck carrying Badr Brigade Shi‘i chauvinist gunmen who were taking part in an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah on Wednesday. A source in the Iraqi puppet police told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance fighters fired an RPG7 rocket-propelled grenade into the white truck, completely destroying it and killing the four Badr Brigade gunmen aboard.

The Badr Brigades are the armed wing of the Shi‘i chauvinist collaborator Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) who invaded Iraq together with US military forces in spring 2003. Under the American occupation the Badr Brigade sectarian militia has become the backbone of the puppet police and other puppet security forces serving the Americans, particularly in the southern parts of Iraq.

Three mysterious car bombs explode almost simultaneously at dusk in Baghdad Wednesday.

Three car bombs exploded almost simultaneously in Baghdad’s predominantly Shi‘i neighborhood of ash-Shu‘lah at dusk on Wednesday, the American Associated Press (AP) reported. The website of al-Jazeera satellite TV reported that the three blasts left 18 dead and 46 others wounded according to the puppet police. The puppet police claimed that the first two bombs appeared targeted at a Kabab restaurant. The AP reported that third car bomb exploded when it was detonated with a driver inside at a nearby bus station, killing at least eight and wounding 20 more. The puppet police said that the three bombs were planted less than a kilometer apart from one another.

Witnesses to the three bombings told the Saudi News Agency (WAS), however, that all three of the car bombs were detonated by remote control. In a dispatch posted at 10:49pm Mecca time Wednesday night, WAS reported that immediately after the attack Iraqi puppet forces sealed off the crowded target area, not allowing anyone in or out.

Conflicting reports on Resistance car bomb attack on puppet police patrol in Baghdad Wednesday evening.

The American news agency Associated Press (AP) reported that about 15 minutes after a series of three mysterious bombs exploded Wednesday evening, an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom car bomber blasted into an Iraqi puppet army patrol. The website of al-Jazeera satellite TV reported that the attack occurred in the al-‘Amiriyah neighborhood west of Baghdad.

The American AP reported Iraqi puppet officials as claiming that blast left four bystanders dead, including a woman and child. According to the AP, the car bomb attack on the puppet police patrol inflicted no casualties among the puppet policemen.

In a dispatch posted at 10:49pm Mecca time Wednesday night, the Saudi News Agency (WAS) also reported that the fourth car bomb of Wednesday evening went off by an Iraqi puppet police patrol, but said that the blast was detonated by remote control and occurred near Maysalun Square in the southeast of the occupied Iraqi capital.

WAS quoted puppet police sources as saying that the blast only slightly wounded three Iraqi civilians.

Resistance ambushes Iraqi puppet patrol on Airport Road Wednesday evening.

Iraqi residents of Baghdad reported that at nightfall on Wednesday a loud explosion shook the area in the west of the city near the road that leads to Saddam International Airport. The Airport Road is a frequent scene of Resistance attacks on US occupation and puppet forces and the website of al-Jazeera satellite TV reported that the Iraqi puppet police stated that initial reports suggested that the explosion was the result of an Iraqi Resistance rocket attack on an Iraqi puppet army patrol.

Iraqi Resistance car bomb explodes by puppet police patrol on road to al-Mada’in Wednesday night.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by Iraqi puppet police on the main road between Baghdad and al-Mada’in to the southeast of the city. In a dispatch posted at 10:49pm Mecca time Wednesday night, the Saudi News Agency (WAS) quoted puppet police sources as saying that the explosion wounded five puppet policemen.

WAS reported that al-Mada’in has lately been the scene of extensive puppet police raids and searches of houses and shops in search of weapons and Iraqi Resistance fighters.

Iraqi Resistance eliminates collaborator law professor.

Iraqi Resistance forces assassinated Jasim al-‘Isawi, a Sunni Iraqi law professor and former judge who volunteered to serve as a collaborator on the puppet committee drafting an illegal “constitution” for Iraq to be imposed by the US occupation authorities, according to a report by the American Associated Press (AP) on Wednesday. The website of al-Jazeera satellite TV reported that the son of the professor was also killed in the attack.

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Resistance bombards US “Biological Base” east of Ba‘qubah Wednesday morning.

A detachment of Iraqi Resistance forces fired 12 mortar rounds into the largest US base in eastern Iraq located in the Abu Sayda area east of Ba‘qubah at 9am Wednesday morning, local time.

The bombardment sent up flames and plumes of dense smoke that filled the sky in the area of the US-occupied facility.

A source inside the US base, which is known as the Biological Base, said that more than 32 Americans were killed or wounded in the Resistance barrage. The source, one of the translators serving the Americans, told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the area that the US losses were so high because the Americans had not believed that the Resistance would dare target this base because it is so big, so well fortified and protected by high security, and because it is far from the city.

Al-Mada’in.

Resistance bomb kills two puppet policemen in al-Mada’in Wednesday morning.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in the city of al-Mada’in southeast of Baghdad Wednesday morning. The Saudi News Agency (WAS) reported in a dispatch posted at 9:54am Mecca time Wednesday morning that a source in the Iraqi puppet security services as saying that the blast killed two puppet policemen and wounded two more.

Resistance shoots down US helicopter Wednesday afternoon east of Balad.

In a bulletin posted at 4:50pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before Iraqi Resistance forces had shot down a US helicopter over the city of Balad, north of Baghdad.

Witnesses told the Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance struck the American aircraft with a Strela missile, setting it ablaze. The witnesses reported seeing the crew jump from the crashing helicopter. At the time of writing, Resistance fighters were searching for the crew following the crash of the helicopter in the Tall adh-Dhahab area east of Balad.

Ninwa Province.

Tall ‘Afar.

Resistance martyrdom bomber blasts US Marines in Tall ‘Afar Wednesday.

In a dispatch posted at 12:55pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden pickup into a permanent US military checkpoint north of Tall ‘Afar. Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the truck bomb exploded killing and wounding “numerous” US troops.

A source in the Iraqi puppet police told the correspondent that the blast disabled an Abrams tank, killing four American Marines and wounding five other Marines.

After the attack, US forces gathered around the area in very large numbers as helicopters flew in to hover over the area. American troops, together with their Iraqi stooges, then began searches of the area in the course of which they seized a number of small arms and arresting their owners.

Mosul.

Resistance bomb blasts US column in Mosul.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US armored column in the south of Mosul on Wednesday, according to a dispatch posted at 6:27pm Mecca time Wednesday, by the Saudi News Agency (WAS). WAS reported that the blast destroyed one armored vehicle in the column but said that no information on US casualties was available.

Resistance car bomb targets US patrol in Mosul Wednesday.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US patrol in Mosul on Wednesday according to a dispatch posted at 10:16pm Mecca time Wednesday night, by the Saudi News Agency (WAS). WAS reported that the blast damaged an American armored vehicle but could not provide any information regarding the nature and extent of US casualties. WAS reported, however three Iraqis were reported killed and seven others wounded in that attack.

Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with machine guns shot and killed Iraqi puppet police captain ‘Amir Hadi Sa‘id who worked in the an-Nasr puppet police station in the city, according to a dispatch posted at 6:27pm Mecca time Wednesday, by the Saudi News Agency (WAS).

Resistance forces abduct puppet soldier.

Iraqi Resistance forces kidnapped ‘Abd al-Qadir Ibrahim, a member of the Iraqi puppet army on Wednesday. Iraqi puppet police sources said that Ibrahim was abducted along with his car according to a dispatch posted at 6:27pm Mecca time Wednesday, by the Saudi News Agency (WAS).

Kirkuk.

Resistance bombards US base in Kirkuk Airport.

In a dispatch posted at 4:05pm Mecca time Wednesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired 16 mortar rounds and four Grad rockets into the US base set up in Kirkuk International Airport. Witnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that the barrage struck the eastern, northern, and central parts of the US-occupied airport.

The bombardment ignited large fires that sent flames rising into the sky. Apache helicopters were seen hovering over the American-occupied facility and then landing to evacuate casualties to Iraq.

Bomb targets motorcade of Turkoman politician Wednesday morning.

An explosives-packed pickup parked by the side of a street in Kirkuk exploded as the motorcade of Sa‘d ad-Din Arjaj, the Chairman of the Turkoman Front political party was passing. The Saudi News Agency (WAS) reported in a dispatch posted at 11:03 Mecca time Wednesday that a source in the Iraqi puppet security forces said that the blast wounded four of Arjaj’s body guards but that Arjaj himself was unhurt in the blast.

The Turkoman Front, one of the most prominent Turkoman political parties in occupied Iraq, has representatives in the puppet so-called “Iraqi parliament.” The Turkoman community in Kirkuk, however, has aligned itself with the Arab community there in opposition to efforts by US-backed Kurdish chauvinist parties to seize control of the city and incorporate it in their separatist “Kurdistan” region under US control.

Iraqi Resistance forces shot and killed al-Mufawwad Kawah ‘Abd al-Khaliq, a member of the puppet so-called “emergency police” outside his home in Kirkuk, according to a dispatch posted at 6:27pm Mecca time Wednesday, by the Saudi News Agency (WAS).
