Iraqi puppet “president” Jalal at-Talibani praises Badr Brigade death squad gunmen for protecting the “democratic political process.”
At the Second Founding Congress of the Shi‘i Badr Organization, the puppet “president” of occupied Iraq, Kurdish chauvinist Jalal at-Talibani, praised the Badr Brigades, saying that they, along with the Kurdish chauvinist Peshmergah gunmen, were “playing an important role at the present time in fighting armed groups that are trying to wreck the political process and defeat the political plans for Iraq,” in a reference to the determination of the Iraqi Resistance not to allow the occupation regime and its hand-picked stooge regime any shred of legitimacy.
The American Associated Press quoted at-Talibani as saying to the Badr Brigades, “You and your (Kurdish) brothers are the heroes of liberating Iraq,” in reference to their collaboration with the US forces when they invaded Iraq.
The Badr Brigades, the armed wing of the collaborationist so-called Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI), invaded Iraq together with US soldiers in the spring of 2003 and since then have formed the backbone of the puppet police forces working for the occupation regime, particularly in southern parts of Iraq.
Particularly since the installation of the puppet “government” of Shi‘i chauvinist Ibrahim al-Ja‘fari in April, the Badr Brigades, often acting as members of the puppet police and security forces, have been involved in numerous acts of abduction, torture, imprisonment, and murder of Sunni Iraqis as part of a campaign to stir up sectarian strife in the country.
The Board of Muslim ‘Ulama’ Scholars, the highest Sunni religious authority in occupied Iraq denounced puppet “president” at-Talibani’s praise for the Badr Brigade death squads, noting that the “president’s” remarks “conform to the American political line of prolonging the conflict in Iraq and turning it into an internal conflict among Iraqis.”
In May the Chairman of the Board of Muslim ‘Ulama’ Shaykh Harith Sulayman ad-Darri openly accused the Badr Brigades by name of murdering Sunni religious leaders in the country, noting that he was fully responsible for his accusation.
Kurdish chauvinist puppet leader claims relations with “Israel” are “not a crime.”
Mas‘ud Barzani, Kurdish chauvinist and puppet “president” of the predominantly Kurdish area in northern occupied Iraq, told the London newspaper al-Hayat on Tuesday that for the Kurds to have relations with “Israel” is “no crime.” Barzani said that in the event that the Zionist colonial entity opened an “embassy” in Baghdad, it would be possible that an “Israeli” consulate would also open in Irbil, the “capital” of the so-called Kurdistan region of occupied Iraq.

Bayji.
Resistance bomb blasts oil pipeline supplying northern Iraq.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb blew up an oil pipeline near the Northern Fertilizer Company in Bayji. The blast set fire to the pipeline, the sources said, adding that at that time firefighters were still trying to get the blaze under control. The sources said that the destruction of the line would halt the pumping of oil products to northern Iraq.
Resistance bombards US base near Bayji early Wednesday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired 10 Grad rockets into the US military base located in the as-Siniyah area west of Bayji (which lies north of Baghdad) at 2pm local time Wednesday afternoon. In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Mecca time Wednesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked and killed the puppet chief of police for Talkif in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
More than 30 masked Resistance fighters got out of cars at the Talkif crossing in the middle of the city and hurled hand grenades and unleashed a hail of medium weight machine gun bullets on the motorcade of the area puppet police chief. The attack left the puppet official and several puppet policemen who had also been in the motorcade dead.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops at the time of writing were still encircling the scene of the attack and raiding and searching houses looking for the attackers. All the Resistance fighters, however, quickly left the scene after the attack suffering no casualties in the engagement. Witnesses in the neighborhood told Mafkarat al-Islam that as soon as they saw the Resistance fighters approaching, almost all the members of the puppet police in the motorcade fled, leaving the chief alone with just a handful of his men.
Dhi Qar Province.

Resistance bomb leaves four British troops dead Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:20pm Mecca time Wednesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb planted under an electric pole exploded by a British patrol in the Suq ash-Shuyukh area in the middle of an-Nasiriyah south of Baghdad on Wednesday. Witnesses told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in an-Nasiriyah that the blast destroyed a British Jeep and killed four British troops and wounded others who were in the vehicle behind the one destroyed by the bomb.
The witnesses said that the British then arrested four Sunni men who were known to frequent the mosques on charges that they carried out Wednesday’s attack.

Details of torture and mutilation of Sunni religious man by Badr Brigade/puppet police.

Al-Kardisi, the one-legged muezzin of the as-Saqr Mosque in al-Basrah’s al-Barradi‘iyah area, was abducted from his home on Sunday by masked members of the Shi‘i chauvinist collaborationist Badr Brigades.
Al-Kardisi was abducted by some 50 Badr Brigade gunmen, most of them in puppet police uniforms after the sunset prayer on Sunday, 5 June 2005.
The Badr Brigade, the armed wing of the collaborationist so-called Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) invaded Iraq together with US soldiers in the spring of 2003 and since then have formed the backbone of the puppet police forces working for the occupation regime, particularly in southern parts of Iraq.
