Resistance bomb blasts US tank column in al-Haqlaniyah Saturday afternoon.
An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded by a column of US tanks in the village of al-Hawlaniyah, south of al-Hadithah in western Iraq at 5pm local time Saturday afternoon.
Residents of al-Haqlaniyah who witnessed the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance bomb had been planted by the side of the road leading towards the center of al-Hadithah and that it went off as a column of five US tanks was passing by, disabling one tank and killing one US soldier and wounding five more.
Following Zionist practice, US troops destroy house of Iraqi Resistance fighter in al-Hadithah.
US occupation troops, following standard Zionist practice in occupied Palestine, brought in huge bulldozers and other equipment to destroy the house of an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter in the city of al-Hadithah Saturday morning. American troops destroyed the house of a family, one member of which carried out a martyrdom attack on US forces more than a week ago.
The invader troops got the name of the attacker from local collaborator spies whom they bribed with large sums of money, the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported.
American troops showed up at the home of the martyr ‘Umar Faruq Saturday and evicted the martyr’s father (65) and mother (60), and the fighter’s wife and son and then destroyed their home in revenge for their son’s self-sacrifice. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam posted a photograph of the martyr’s son in the rubble of his home after the Americans demolished it at: http://www.islammemo.cc/news/one_news.asp?IDnews=67868
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb targets US patrol late Saturday afternoon.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the area of the dam south of al-Fallujah at about 6:30pm Saturday afternoon. Residents of the area told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb went off next to a column of six US Humvees. The blast totally destroyed one Humvee, killing four US troops and wounding two more.
Afterwards, American forces and Iraqi puppet troops surrounded the area, preventing local people and journalists from approaching the scene of the attack.
Five US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 9:10am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded next to a US military patrol on al-Kamaliyat Street in the al-Jumhuriyah neighborhood of downtown al-Fallujah. Witnesses told the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam who went to the scene of the attack, that the blast destroyed a Humvee and killed four US troops and wounded one other.
A member of the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” told the correspondent that the fifth soldier later died of his wounds after being taken by armored vehicle to the US base in the agricultural area east of al-Fallujah.
At the time of reporting, US forces had encircled the street and the neighborhood and were raiding houses in the area.
Hit.
US recovers body of dead soldier from Hit water treatment plant.
US forces on Saturday morning discovered the body of one of their troops killed in fighting that took place on Thursday, 2 June 2005 between the American aggressors and Iraqi Resistance forces in Hit, about 250km west of Baghdad.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a US armored column surrounded the as-Sikak neighborhood to the north of Hit and fished the body out of the local water treatment plant. The American corpse had been floating on the surface of the water with numerous bullet wounds to its head and chest.
A source in the Iraqi puppet forces told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US forces received information from collaborators that the body of one of their missing men was there, stripped of his weapons, helmet, and bullet-proof vest.

It exploded as a column of four US Humvees was passing, setting one armored Humvee ablaze and killing four US troops and wounding three others.
After the blast, which took place at 1:30pm local time, US forces sealed off the area, preventing local people and journalists from approaching.

US aggressors make practice of arresting wanted persons’ female relatives official policy.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported in a dispatch posted at 9:45am Saturday morning Mecca time that the US occupation regime had just issued a decree in the context of its emergency regulations that made it officially legal for the US military to arrest the mother, sister, wife or daughter of a person they regard as “wanted” and accuse of involvement in armed activities against the occupation.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the headquarters of the US occupation in the Republican Palace area ミ known to the invaders as the “green zone” ミ quoted a source as saying that on Saturday the US military had authorized a decree permitting its forces deployed in Iraq to use any means at its disposal to get at Resistance members and arrest and imprison them, including the arrest of their mothers, wives, sisters, or daughters, in an effort to get them to turn themselves in and secure the release of their female relatives.
Mafkarat al-Islam noted that the decree had in fact been a part of US occupation practice but without official sanction since the start of the occupation. As of today it becomes official policy. The policy, Mafkarat al-Islam reported, has proved its efficacy. An Iraqi Resistance commander, it reported, turned himself in to the American occupation within one hour of their arrest of his 29-year-old wife, after the Americans declared that he must do so if he wanted his wife to remain “unharmed, as she is.”

In a dispatch posted at 11:15am Mecca time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed a US force in the ad-Dulaym area of al-Latifiyah, south of Baghdad. Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance fighters, concealed in date palm groves on a rural road in al-Latifiyah, attacked the US column with rockets and medium weapons, destroying four Humvees and disabling a fifth. More than 20 US Marines were killed and others wounded, the witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam, adding that about seven Resistance fighters were martyred in the fighting as well.
A local resident of ad-Dulaym told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance would have wiped out the American detachment entirely but for the arrival of US helicopters that forced the Resistance fighters to withdraw from the area. Afterwards, US forces surrounded the area as the helicopters landed.

Owners of gardens in ash-Shurqat told Mafkarat al-Islam that an explosives-packed car was parked by the side of a rural road in their area and that it exploded as a the joint US-puppet patrol was passing by. Resistance bombards American base headquarters in al-Ghazlani camp, Mosul, Saturday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired nine medium-range Grad rockets into the US al-Ghazlani base in Mosul at 4pm Saturday afternoon, local time. A member of the puppet so-called “rapid deployment force” told the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Mosul that most of the Resistance rockets blasted into the administrative center of the American base, killing 12 US troops and wounding 10 more.

Maysan Province.
Iraqi puppet police seize Sunni mosque, hand it over to Shi‘ah as part of drive to stir up sectarian conflict.
Iraqi puppet police in Maysan, 380km south of Baghdad stormed the Hittin Mosque on Thursday, 2 June 2005. They ransacked the Sunni house of worship on the pretext that it was a refuge for Resistance fighters ミ whom the puppet troops called “terrorists” ミ and claimed to be acting on a judge’s order that the mosque be confiscated.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Maysan Province reported that the puppet police handed the mosque over to the Shi‘i community. In a clear effort to arouse sectarian conflict in the area the puppet authorities changed the name of the Mosque ミ which has been property of the local Sunni community for decades and whose name commemorated a Muslim victory in the Crusades ミ to the Mosque of Fatimah az-Zahra’.
A local resident told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Sunni community complained of the officially sanctioned act of sectarian theft to the provincial puppet authorities of Maysan and found that there was no legal order providing for the raid on the mosque or for handing it over to the Shi‘ah. Another resident said that the puppet police responded to their complaint to the provincial authorities by threatening that they would seize all nine Sunni mosques in the province.
Sunni residents in Maysan province have been victims of other attacks by Shi‘i chauvinists in the puppet police and collaborationist militias, including the murder of Professor Muhammad ‘Abd al-Latif al-‘Ani, Deputy Director of Sunni Waqf pious endowment Property, in the province. But this is the first instance in which a Sunni mosque was confiscated by the puppet police who are largely made up of Shi‘i chauvinist collaborationist militiamen.
