Seven American troops reported killed in vehicle bombing in ar-Ramadi Monday morning.
Iraqi Resistance forces ambushed US troops in the al-Fahhamah area of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad at about 8am Monday morning, killing seven American troops and wounding four more.
An official puppet regime source told the ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that Resistance fighters took over an ambulance belonging to the al-Anbar Health Directorate and rigged it with explosives. Then one of the fighters drove it into an American checkpoint west of the city and detonated it. The official said that the blast killed seven and wounded four Americans.
For its part the First Army of Muhammad Resistance organization declared its responsibility for the attack, calling it the Martyr Ahmad Yasin Attack, in honor of the spiritual leader of the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas who was murdered by the Zionists just one year ago. The First Army of Muhammad statement appeared in a communiqu that was distributed around mosques in ar-Ramadi.

Resistance car bomb kills five US special commando troops early Monday.
An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the al-Haswah area, east of al-Fallujah and west of Abu Ghurayb at 9am Monday morning, killing five US special commando troops. A member of the puppet police in al-Fallujah told Mafkarat al-Islam that the explosives-laden car was parked by the side of a road in the al-Haswah area and went off as the US column was passing.
The Iraqi Resistance organization the Army of the Partisans of the Sunna [Prophet’s Practice] took responsibility for the attack in a communiqu that was widely distributed among mosques and to journalists in the area. The communiqu read in part:
“Your mujahideen brothers set an ambush today for the Crusaders near the al-Karakh Cemetery in the al-Haswah area west of Baghdad. They parked a booby-trapped car by the side of the road near an American column. After a time some members of the column began to have suspicions about the car and came over to investigate it. God be praised, they parked one of their Humvees right behind it and then got out to inspect the car. Right away five of the thugs gathered around the car. One of our heroes instantly pressed the remote control and detonated the car that had been packed with explosives. A massive blast resulted that killed five of the Crusader soldiers. As to the ones who were still in the Humvee, we believe they perished or at least sustained serious injuries.”
The communiqu went on: “immediately the road was closed and an American helicopter landed to evacuate the scattered body parts and the wounded.”
The communiqu was signed by the “Military Commission of the Army of the Partisans of the Sunnah.”
Four puppet guards killed by bomb in al-Fallujah.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the as-Sajar area of al-Fallujah Monday, killing four puppet so-called “Iraqi national guards.” The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an unknown person directed the attention of puppet guards to a cover that was placed on the ground in the new cemetery, north of the al-Jaghifi neighborhood. It appeared to be a body under a shroud The person told the puppet guards that there was a dead body under the cover, when they went to investigate, the informant disappeared.
When the puppet guards approached the apparent covered corpse the bomb that was hidden under the cover was detonated, apparently by remote control, at 10am local time, killing the four puppet guards.

American occupation forces sealed off the area and called in helicopters to evacuate the bodies of the dead and wounded after the blast.
