まず、彼はただ個人メンバーというだけではなく、イラクを代表する名誉会員なのでした。

The Party was established by Dr. Sabihﾊ Khelilﾊ Al-Dulaimi, who was the first electedﾊ president of the Party on the First Congress of Democratic Party of Iraq in Baghdad,ﾊ on July 6th 2003. The necessity of party-establishment was not only a demand and on theﾊ request of Iraqi society, but the critical political situation in Iraq after the second U.S.-led war. The historical changes made a chaotic explanation by Iraqi nation, therefore was necessary to make an alteration of political program, and the newly elected president was Dr. Semir Sabih Khelil Al-Dulaimi, in January 2004.

The new president reinforced the democratic political program of Party to the heading of Iraqi citizenry and the members accepted his proposal for a new designation: Iraqi Nation Democratic Party. Further political changes of governance of Iraq desired so that Dr. Sabih Khelil Al-Dulaimi was taking the lead and the presidency of Party again in June 2004.
