Al-Hadithah.
Resistance sharp shooter picks off two US troops who were raiding houses in al-Hadithah.
An Iraqi Resistance sharp shooter shot and killed two US soldiers in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of al-Hadithah in western Iraq on Friday afternoon. The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in the city reported eyewitnesses in the neighborhood as saying that American troops were raiding houses in the neighborhood and as they were storming into one home, the Iraqi sharpshooter opened fire, bringing down two US troops.
After the attack, US forces launched a search of the area, this time for the Resistance sharpshooter. They found no trace of him.

US admits Resistance bomber killed 11 puppet police commandos Thursday night.
The US military announced on Friday that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter blew himself up in a car at a checkpoint in ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad, killing 11 commandos in the Iraqi puppet police and wounding nine more. The Americans admitted to two Americans and three other Iraqis being wounded in the attack. Reuters quoted a statement by the 2nd Marine Division as saying that the attack occurred at about 7pm Thursday night.
Al-Fallujah.
Intermittent fighting took place in the northern neighborhoods al-Jawlan and the area of the sheep market in al-Fallujah, 60km west of Baghdad on Thursday between Iraqi Resistance fighters and US and Iraqi puppet troops. A captain in the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” told Mafkarat al-Islam that the fighting left seven US troops dead and 11 more wounded, and it killed nine Iraqi puppet soldiers and wounded five more of their number.
The captain said that four Resistance fighters were martyred in the battles.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam met an administrative official in the city police who told him, “it is quite impossible to accept the theory that Resistance fighters have come into the city, because 90 percent of the people of al-Fallujah are members of the Resistance. So if we wanted to control the city completely, we would have to expel all the population or wipe all of them out, and that’s fundamentally impossible and irrational.”
The correspondent reported that on Friday security measures were tightened at the entrances and exits from al-Fallujah.

Three US troops die in Resistance ambush of American convoy early Friday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces armed with light and medium-weight weapons including RPG7 rocket propelled grenades, attacked a US military column of some 11 army trucks and two Humvees in the at-Taji area north of Baghdad. The American convoy was hauling provisions and equipment to US forces. The attack set two of the army trucks ablaze and killed three US troops and wounded four more, according to local witnesses.
The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in at-Taji reported residents of the ad-Dalayim area of at-Taji who saw the attack as saying that the Resistance attacked the large supply convoy at 2pm Friday afternoon.
Resistance forces ambush US column, killing four US troops Friday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a column of two troop transports and four Humvees on the old road linking Baghdad with al-Fallujah to the west. Witnesses said that the attack destroyed one troop transport vehicle and killed four US troops. Another five American soldiers were wounded in the attack.
In a report posted at 6:10pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in Abu Ghurayb reported witnesses who live in the al-Bu Munaysir area as saying that a number of Resistance fighters attacked the US column as it was proceeding along the old road to al-Fallujah. The fighters were armed with light and medium-weight weapons such as RPG7 rocket propelled grenades and pipe rockets.
Owners of the groves near the scene of the attack told Mafkarat al-Islam that one of the Resistance fighters was martyred in the attack.
Resistance bombards US base in al-Baghdadi Friday afternoon.
Resistance forces bombarded the US ‘Ayn al-Asad base in the city of al-Baghdadi, west of Baghdad, with seven heavy 120mm mortar rounds at 3pm local time Friday afternoon, sending plumes of smoke rising into the sky.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of al-Baghdadi as saying that seven powerful blasts shook the US base. Afterwards US helicopters came in at low altitude over the base and surrounding areas in search of the Resistance attackers, but they found nothing.
Resistance liquidates commander of Iraqi puppet “national guard” forces in southern Iraq.
An official in the Iraqi puppet police announced that Iraqi Resistance forces had assassinated a top commander of the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” in Baghdad on Friday.
Resistance fighters in the New Baghdad area opened fire on Major General Sulayman Muhammad, the commander of the puppet “national guard” in southern Iraq. Reuters quoted the Iraqi puppet police as saying that two of the General’s sons were wounded in the attack.

Resistance bomb kills four US troops in al-Iskandariyah at noon Friday.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of three US armored vehicles and two Humvees in al-Iskandariyah, south of Baghdad, at 12 noon local time Friday. The bomb, which exploded on the main road linking al-Iskandariyah with Baghdad, set one US armored vehicle ablaze and killed four American troops and wounded a fifth, according to witnesses.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported passing motorists who witnessed the bombing as saying that the bomb flipped the armored vehicle over on the side of the road engulfed in flame.
Afterward, US forces encircled the area and prevented all journalists or passers by from approaching the area.

At least eight US troops killed in car bomb attack west of Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 4:55pm Mecca time Friday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a US checkpoint west of Samarra’ on Friday, destroying a large part of the American checkpoint and killing and wounding a number of the US troops who were posted there.
A source in the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” told Mafkarat al-Islam that a late model car raced at high speed opposite the direction of traffic and into the US checkpoint. The Americans tried to stop the Resistance attacker but he got through their gunfire and blew himself up, killing at least eight US troops and wounding a number of others.
Afterwards, US forces opened fire indiscriminately at civilians, wounding four Iraqis who happened to be in the area. One of those wounded was seriously injured. American forces then closed the area and prevented journalists from approaching the scene.

Resistance ambush leaves five US troops dead in Mosul early Friday afternoon.
Fighting broke out on Friday between Iraqi Resistance forces and US troops in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported that the battles broke out in the al-Islah az-Zira‘i neighborhood to the west of Mosul at about 2pm local time. He said that Resistance fighters used medium-weight weapons such as RPG7 rocket propelled grenades as well as 60mm mortars.
The fighting set one American Bradley armored vehicle ablaze, killing five US troops and wounding two more. Two Resistance fighters were martyred, according to a source in the puppet so-called “Iraqi rapid deployment force.” The source said that the Resistance ambushed US troops on a side street in the al-Islah az-Zira‘i neighborhood.
Resistance bombards US base in Mosul Friday morning.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired four surface-to-surface missiles into the US al-Ghazlani base north of Mosul at about 9am Friday morning, sending plumes of dense smoke into the sky.
A source in the puppet so-called “Iraqi rapid deployment force” said that the rockets blasted into an area where US troops were gathered on break. The source said that the attack killed or wounded a large number of American troops.
Witnesses who live in the areas around the base confirmed that more than five Cobra helicopters flew in over the base and evacuated casualties after the attack.

Resistance bombards Japanese troops early Friday.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired six 120mm mortar rounds into the main base of the Japanese invader troops in as-Samawah, south of Baghdad at 6am Friday morning, sending plumes of smoke rising over the occupied facility.
Witnesses who live in the al-Husayn neighborhood near the base told Mafkarat al-Islam that they heard six violent explosions shake the base followed by secondary blasts of unknown origin ミ probably Japanese munitions exploding. After the attack, US helicopters came in at low altitude over the Japanese base.

Resistance bomb kills three British troops in al-Basrah Friday morning.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a joint British and Iraqi puppet force patrol in the center of the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah at 8am local time Friday morning. Residents of the ar-Rashidiyah neighborhood of the az-Zubayr district told Mafkarat al-Islam that the bomb went off on the main street in their area just as the joint patrol was passing. The blast destroyed a British armored vehicle and killed three British troops and wounded two more. One Iraqi puppet soldier was wounded and later died.
After the blast, British forces together with Iraqi stooges launched a wave of arrests targeted exclusively on the local Sunni citizens. They stormed into several nearby houses and arrested about 12 youths on charges of helping the Resistance plan attacks against the British occupation forces.
