Al-Anbar Province.

Al-Fallujah.

Fifteen Americans said killed in Tuesday morning barrage of US base east of al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 10:35am Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while earlier Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the eastern and northern parts of the US base that lies east of al-Fallujah. The attack killed more than 15 US troops according to an official statement by a captain in the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” to Mafkarat al-Islam.

The captain told the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam that according to preliminary figures, more than 15 American troops were killed and a great deal of damage was inflicted on the base. The rockets were fired from within the administrative area of al-Fallujah, which is occupied by US military forces. In addition to the physical damage done in the attack, it also represents a serious blow to the American claims to have turned al-Fallujah into one of Iraq’s most “secure” cities under American rule.

Al-Qa’im.

Resistance bombards US base at dawn.

Iraqi Resistance forces mounted a rocket attack on the US base known as A22 in al-Qa’im on the border with Syria at dawn Tuesday, residents of houses near the base told Mafkarat al-Islam. The Resistance fired 14 mortar rounds into the base at about 5am local time.

The bombardment ignited large fires inside the base, with flames more than 10 meters (over 30 feet) high. The residents also heard secondary explosions going off within the American camp for about half an hour after the bombardment as American munitions began exploding.

The correspondent was unable to ascertain the extent of casualties or damage to the base, but witnesses reported that more than nine US helicopters were called in to evacuate casualties from the stricken facility. The dead and wounded Americans were taken to the ‘Ayn al-Asad airbase in the city of Hit.

Ar-Ramadi.

Resistance battles US forces in ar-Ramadi Tuesday afternoon.

Iraqi Resistance forces battled US Marines and Iraqi puppet troops in ar-Ramadi on Tuesday afternoon. The local correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the fighting was concentrated around the as-Sikak neighborhood north of the city and around the area of ar-Ramadi General Hospital. The Resistance was using pipe rockets and rocket launchers in addition to light and medium-weight machine guns.

Witnesses reported that the fighting, which lasted for an hour and a half left nine US troops dead and more than 10 more injured. One eyewitness told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance totally destroyed four US Humvees and disabled one American tank. The correspondent reported sources in the puppet “national guard” as saying that the fighting left 13 Iraqi puppet troops and nine Americans dead and more than 10 others wounded.

Shortly before the correspondent submitted his report, which was posted at 6:58pm Mecca time, the Iraqi Resistance distributed a statement in which they announced that they had lost seven of their best Resistance fighters in the battle. The Resistance was able to take six of the bodies of their comrades away from the scene, while US invader troops found the body of the seventh fighter. They dragged away and then desecrated the body in a most ugly fashion and then threw it into the middle of a street. Local people immediately took the body of the martyr to the hospital where the morgue is located, witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam.

Resistance car bomb kills 11 American troops Monday night.

An Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded at a US check point east of ar-Ramadi at 6pm Monday night local time, killing 11 American troops and destroying two Humvees of various types, Mafkarat al-Islam reported.

A colonel in the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” reported that the blast occurred a a Marine strongpoint near the Agricultural College. A Resistance martyrdom fighter drove a booby-trapped Opel car into the checkpoint, he said, destroying the two vehicles and killing 11 Americans.

On Tuesday, US occupation troops issued a statement in their headquarters in the Republican Palace in Baghdad ﾐ known to the invaders as the “green zone” ﾐ saying that the explosion inflicted heavy damage but made no mention of casualties.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that in addition to the 11 Americans they saw dead and the two vehicles that were destroyed in the blast there were numerous wounded. They said that the blast was so powerful that it also destroyed the concrete barriers that the American troops used to hide behind.

Baghdad.

Three US troops die, one American commits suicide in late morning bomb attack.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol in the al-Mansur neighborhood of Baghdad at 11:20am Tuesday local time, a source in the Iraqi puppet police told Mafkarat al-Islam. The blast disabled a US armored vehicle and killed three soldiers. Five other troops were wounded. The source added that one of the wounded soldiers, who had been injured in the thigh, shot himself to death as he lay on the ground before the arrival of an American medical team.

Witnesses told the correspondent that the soldier who committed suicide was not seriously wounded, compared to his injured comrades but nevertheless he shot himself in the head with his personal weapon, killing himself instantly and bringing the number of dead in the incident to four.

At the time the correspondent filed his report, posted at 1:05pm Tuesday afternoon Mecca time, US forces were still totally surrounding the scene of the attack. Another group of American troops evacuated the bodies of the dead and the wounded men to the headquarters of the former Iraqi Intelligence Service (now an occupied facility) in the same neighborhood.

Resistance bombings harass, kill US troops in Abu Ghurayb.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in Abu Ghurayb, 30km west of Baghdad as a US column was passing through the city, Mafkarat al-Islam reported in a dispatch posted at 7:25pm Mecca time Tuesday night. The correspondent reported that the blast completely destroyed a US Humvee and killed four American troops.

Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam in Abu Ghurayb that there was another Iraqi Resistance bomb that exploded next to a US column made up of several armored vehicles, and then another Resistance roadside bomb that blew up in the Shaykh Darri area, destroying a US vehicle and killing four more Americans.

Resistance pounds US base in Saddam International Airport.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired an intense barrage of rockets and mortars lasting uninterruptedly for 15 minutes and was still going on when the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent filed a report posted at 10:50am Mecca time Tuesday morning. Witnesses reported that smoke was rising from the base as explosions went off everywhere inside the facility.

Iraqi Resistance reportedly assassinates head of puppet immigration department.

Sources in the puppet so-called Iraqi “interior ministry” reported that Resistance fighters had shot and killed a high-ranking official in their “ministry” in Baghdad. Reuters reported that the al-Qa‘idah organization in the Land of the Two Rivers led by Abu Mus‘ab az-Zarrqawi had issued a statement on the internet saying that it was behind the assassination of the official who held the rank of major general and was the director of the “ministry’s” department of immigration.

Diyala Province.

Ba‘qubah.

Powerful bomb destroys new US armored vehicle, kills seven American troops in Ba‘qubah.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column in the al-Maymunah neighborhood in western Ba‘qubah at 9am Tuesday, totally destroying a new model American armored vehicle, the name of which is unknown. Such vehicles were brought into Iraq when American Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld last visited the occupied country. The explosion killed seven US troops instantly.

The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US forces encircled the area where the attack occurred. After searching the area they turned up a wire by the side of the road and linked to a small battery hidden under a traffic signal at the end of the street. It appears that the wire was part of the mechanism used to detonate the bomb.

After the attack the Americans arrested one traffic warden whom they accused of allowing the Resistance to rig the explosive under the traffic light. Mafkarat al-Islam reported that after the arrest all the city’s traffic police declared a general strike in solidarity with their arrested co-worker, whose arrest they regarded as inexcusable.

Mandali.

Resistance martyrdom fighter on motorcycle kills five US troops.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter driving an explosives-laden motorcycle blew himself up by a group of US soldiers in the middle of the city of Mandali in Diyala Province on the Iranian border at 10am Tuesday morning local time. Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack left five US troops dead and six more wounded.

Witnesses told the correspondent that the martyrdom fighter blew up his motorcycle next to a US column on foot near a local primary school for girls. The witnesses said that five American troops died in the attack and six more were wounded, most of them in very serious condition.

After the bombing, US troops cordoned off the area completely and began a comprehensive search of the girls’ school and the houses nearby. They found nothing related to the attack.

Ninwa Province.

Mosul.

Eight Americans killed in Resistance car bomb attack in Mosul Tuesday.

In a dispatch posted at 7:20pm Mecca time Tuesday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a US military column in western Mosul. The US column was made up of four Humvees and was driving through the ash-Shurtah neighborhood in the west of Mosul when the martyrdom fighter slammed his black BMW into the column and exploded, according to a source in the Iraqi puppet police.

The blast completely destroyed two Humvees and killed eight American soldiers, according to a source in the fire department that rushed to the scene after the attack and found the two totally wrecked Humvees and the bodies of the eight soldiers strewn about the ground. The source in the puppet police also said that two US vehicles were destroyed in the attack and eight Americans killed.

Afterwards, US troops encircled the area and imposed a curfew on the area, which was still in force when the correspondent submitted his report.

Kirkuk.

Resistance blasts US base in Kirkuk Airport.

In a dispatch posted at 8:40pm Mecca time, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four powerful Grad rockets into the US base set up in Kirkuk International Airport, sending three plumes of dense smoke rising into the sky as secondary explosions went off inside the American facility after the attack ﾐ indicating that US munitions were going off.

Eyewitnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that the rockets blasted into the western parts of the airport.
