Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bombardments of US forces around al-Fallujah.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired powerful Ababil rockets at concentrations of US aggressor troops near al-Fallujah at about 9:30am Monday, inflicting direct hits, since thick smoke could be seen rising over stricken military vehicles after the attack. Two American Chinook helicopters landed in the area to evacuate casualties, and then took off with Apache helicopters giving them protection. Then two more helicopters came to pick up more casualties. They stayed on the ground for half an hour and then left under Apache guard as well.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired rockets at the puppet “national guard” command point on the highway east of the al-‘Askari neighborhood, but the extent of damage or casualties as a result of that attack is unknown. Resistance fighters also fired two Grad rockets at US troops in the as-Sakaniyah residential area north of al-Fallujah, sending two plumes of black smoke rising into the sky meaning that military vehicles had been hit.
US arrests Iraqi youths.
US forces arrested 30 Iraqi youths whose families the Americans had permitted to reside in the al-Andalus neighborhood of al-Fallujah. One woman was arrested along with them, but later released.
Resistance sharpshooter kills US soldier in al-Fallujah.
An Iraqi Resistance sharp shooter shot and killed a US soldier on ash-Sharikah Street in al-Fallujah’s ash-Shurtah neighborhood at 4pm Monday. A member of al-Fallujah’s police told Mafkarat al-Islam that this was the sixth American soldier who had been shot in the last 24 hours by Resistance sharpshooters.
US forces are living through a psychological was in addition to the fighting war in al-Fallujah. US troops have been searching houses on the street searching for the Resistance sharpshooter, but without result. They have, however, destroyed 14 private homes on “suspicion” that the Resistance sharpshooter might have been inside.
Resistance rocket attack targets fighter plane runway in al-Habbaniyah airbase.
Iraqi Resistance forces six Grad rockets at the US al-Habbaniyah base west of al-Fallujah at 1am Monday morning. The rockets hit the runway for fighter aircraft, according to witnesses who spoke to Mafkarat al-Islam. Smoke rose into the sky over the US facility.
Puppet so-called “election commission” for al-Anbar Province resigns, says elections “impossible.”
Newspapers published in occupied Iraq on Sunday admitted that the puppet “election commission” for al-Anbar Province had resigned after being threatened by the Iraqi Resistance. The American Washington Post reported that Sa‘d ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Rawi, who had been the “election commission chief” resigned along with all 13 members of the commission, saying that it was “impossible” to hold genuine elections at the present time. Their resignation statement said that those officials who still hope to hold elections in al-Anbar Province are making laughing stocks out of themselves.

US troops murder tribal chief.
US occupation troops killed Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Razzaq al-Ku‘ud, the chief of the ad-Dulaym tribes in Iraq at 12 noon as he came out of his house in Hit in western Iraq. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported witnesses as saying that American forces were waiting at the end of the main street leading to the Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Razzaq’s house and opened fire on his car, killing him and his son instantly.
The family of Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Razzaq did not explain why the Americans would assassinate their relative, but residents of Hit believe that the US forces killed the shakyk because he rejected their request two weeks ago to intercede with the Resistance in the city to convince them to enter in to talks and sit at a negotiating table with the US forces.
The Americans wanted to hold talks with the Resistance in secret in order to save face. But Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Razzaq refused to go along with the American plan and publicized their offer as well, telling various news media about it, including Mafkarat al-Islam. Mafkarat al-Islam reported the story, but kept the Shaykh’s name secret.
The local correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reports that the cities of ar-Ramadi, Hit, and Hadithah are now in a state of boiling rage over the assassination and that the Americans have brought out all their vehicles out of fear of attacks.
Baghdad.
Deputy chief of puppet police in Baghdad assassinated by Resistance.
Iraqi Resistance fighters on Monday assassinated the deputy chief of puppet police in Baghdad outside his house. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that a pickup truck stopped in front of Brigadier General ‘Umar Nayif’s house. Armed Resistance fighters got out of the truck and unleashed a torrent of bullets on the deputy puppet police chief and his son, a puppet police lieutenant as they came out of the house.
Eye witnesses reported that four Iraqi Resistance fighters driving a civilian pickup opened fire with BKC machine guns on the two puppet police officers as they came out of their house on 60 Street in the southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
Powerful Resistance ambush in Abu Ghurayb.
Eye witnesses told the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam on Monday that a US column attempted to avoid a Resistance bomb in the az-Zaydan area of Abu Ghurayb by taking the main road in the area, but there they fell into a Resistance ambush. The Americans walked into a network of heavy Resistance bombs, whereupon Resistance fighter opened fire on the US troops with RPG7 and RPG8 rockets, BKC machine guns and Kalashnikov assault rifles.
Six US Humvees and one fuel tank truck were destroyed in the attack. A supply truck loaded with weapons was set ablaze but seized by the Resistance, after the driver and his assistant were killed. At least 30 Resistance fighters took part in the large-scale attack on the Americans. Local residents say the Americans left 23 bodies behind and that the column was completely wiped out within about 15 minutes.
US forces then came and opened fire indiscriminately, killing five local citizens and seriously wounding eight more. The Americans arrested 41 persons.
Resistance ambush near Abu Ghurayb Secondary School.
Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded on a dirt road under a US foot patrol near the Abu Ghurayb Secondary School on Monday. Eighteen American troops were killed, many of them blown apart by the force of the blast. Four other US soldiers were seriously wounded. US troops then opened fire indiscriminately on civilians, killing three. They then arrested 28 people who happened to be in the area.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that contrary to American reports about US troops patrolling the streets of Baghdad individually the American patrols in fact walk in single file, making the number of deaths during attacks higher.
Bomb attacks in Abu Ghurayb.
An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded in the az-Zaydan area of Abu Ghurayb at about 12:30am Monday, destroying a Humvee and killing four US soldiers.
An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded and disabled a US Abrams tank in the village of ash-Shihah in the Abu Ghurayb area at 2:30pm Monday, killing the US soldier who was manning the gun aboard the tank.
Martyrdom attack on puppet police reported.
An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom driver blew up a booby trapped puppet police car at a puppet police station in southern Baghdad on Monday, killing and wounding a number of puppet policemen.
Resistance attacks in Baghdad.
Iraqi Resistance fighters firing machine guns and hurling hand grenades battled US forces on Hayfa Street in Baghdad’s al-Karakh district, killing four puppet “national guards,” and wounding eight more of them and Americans.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on Airport Road in the area between the al-‘Amiriyah and al-Furat neighborhoods at about 10:30am Monday, destroying a Humvee and disabling another. Three US intelligence officers were killed and five more wounded, two of them seriously.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired about six 82mm mortar rounds into he puppet so-called “ministry of petroleum” on Palestine Street in Baghdad at about 6:30am Monday, inflicting material damage on the building and setting two ministry cars ablaze.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired five Grad rockets into the US al-Bakr camp in Balad, north of Baghdad at 11am Monday, sending plumes of smoke into the sky. US medical helicopters were seen landing and taking off afterward.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired a C5K rocket and shot down a US Chinook helicopter in the al-Mushahadah area north of Baghdad at 2:30pm Monday. The Chinook crashed to earth and burned immediately, killing all aboard. US forces encircled the crash site and arrested 27 local men.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded at the at-Tarimiyah crossroads in al-Mushahadah, north of Baghdad at about 7am Monday, destroying a US military vehicle carrying two Humvees.
A heavy Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on at-Tarimiyah street in al-Mushahadah at about 9am Monday, destroying a ZiL military truck carrying US soldiers. Nine American troops were killed and four others seriously wounded. Afterwards US forces encircled the area with armored vehicles as helicopters prowled the skies above. They closed off the area for three hours.
Iraqi Resistance forces and US aggressors battled in al-Mushahadah at about 12:15pm Monday, destroying two Humvees and disabling two armored vehicles. Eight American troops were killed and two US soldiers captured by the Resistance. Five Resistance fighters were martyred. US forces then encircled the area and arrested 12 people.
Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded in the al-Qatta‘ area of ar-Ridwaniyah at about 7am Monday, and then Resistance fighters attacked US forces with rockets, destroying two Bradley armored vehicles and a Humvee and killing 10 US troops and wounding two more. American soldiers then encircled the area and hauled away the wrecked vehicles.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on al-Janub Street in as-Suwayrah at 8:35am Monday, destroying a military truck with the Croatian flag painted on it, and an armored vehicle. Six soldiers were killed.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb planted in the middle of a dirt road on Abu as-Samak Street in the ar-Ridwaniyah area exploded at about 1:30pm Monday, destroying a Humvee, an armored vehicle, and a troop transport and killing 11 US troops. Ameircan forces then opened fire indiscriminately on houses in the area.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in ‘Arab Jabbur in ad-Durah at about 1:30pm Monday, killing an American soldier and wounding three more.
A heavy Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the al-Qatta‘ area of ar-Ridwaniyah at about 2pm Monday as a US force was passing, destroying an Abrams tank and a Humvee and killing eight US troops in addition to those killed inside the vehicles.
An Iraqi Resistance pickup truck car bomb driven by a martyrdom fighter dressed as a puppet policeman exploded at the puppet police station in az-Za‘faraniyah east of Baghdad at about 7:35am Monday, killing 13 puppet police and wounding 18 seriously.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired rockets at US vehicles in the Salman Bak area southeast of Baghdad at 11:15am Monday, destroying three fuel tank trucks and killing six US troops.
Two Iraqi Resistance roadside bombs exploded in the Salman Bak area of Baghdad, destroying a US Bradley armored vehicle on Monday at 3pm. Four US troops were killed. Afterwards, US forces opened fire indiscriminately on local civilians, killing a woman and a 9-year-old child.
An Iraqi Resistance roadside bomb exploded in the al-Bu Hishmah area of at-Taji north of Baghdad at 3pm Monday, whereupon Resistance fighters opened up with rockets, destroying two civilian trucks loaded with provisions for US occupation forces. Also destroyed in the ambush was a Humvee. Six US troop were killed and two more wounded. Three Resistance fighters were martyred in the attack.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a pickup belonging to the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” in ‘Uwayrij south of Baghdad, destroying the truck and killing nine puppet guards. Six other puppet guards were severely injured.
Unknown persons informed occupation authorities that a bomb had been planted on the highway in the as-Sayyidiyah area south of Baghdad at 3:15pm Monday. The device was disarmed.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in Balad at 10:30am Monday, destroying a US tank and killing at least four American troops.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a Land Cruiser belonging to the puppet police in the Sadr al-Qanat area at 9am Monday, setting the vehicle on fire and killing three puppet policemen inside.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into the puppet so-called “Iraqi petroleum ministry” at 7am Monday.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired five mortar rounds into the puppet so-called “Iraqi ministry of the interior” on Palestine Street in Baghdad at 7:25pm Monday, sending clouds of smoke into the sky.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired three Grad rockets into the headquarters of the US occupation in the Republican Palace in Baghdad, known to the invaders as the “green zone” sending clouds of smoke rising into the sky. US forces closed the al-Jumhuriyah bridge in response for more than two hours.
Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the al-‘Azim American base in Diyala Province with thirty 120mm mortar rounds at 4am Monday, setting five large storehouses of US weapons ablaze. Two US medevac helicopters were seen landing and taking off from the base more than four times.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in al-Iskandariyah south of Baghdad at about 2:15pm Monday, destroying a Bradely armored vehicle and a Humvee and killing seven US troops.

Ba‘qubah.
Fighting rages in Ba‘qubah and vicinity.
Iraqi Resistance forces battled puppet “national guards” in Ba‘qubah beginning at 7:30am Monday. The fighting destroyed a US Abrams tank, killing all aboard. An American Humvee was also destroyed with all aboard killed. In all nine Americans and 12 puppet guards were killed in that fighting. Two Resistance fighters were martyred.
Fighting broke out in the Bahraz area in Diyala Province on Monday. Three Land Cruisers belonging to the puppet police and a pickup belonging to the puppet guards were destroyed. Five puppet “national guards” and 10 puppet police were killed. Two Resistance fighters were wounded.
Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles attacked puppet “national guards” as they were leaving one of their restaurants in the Ba‘qubah area northeast of Bagdhdad at 9:30pm Sunday.
Tikrit.
A heavy Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded at the entrance to Tikrit at about 8:30am Monday, destroying a Bradley armored vehicle and killing three US troops and severely wounding a fourth.
Mosul.
Resistance shoots down US helicopter.
Iraqi Resistance forces shot down a US Apache helicopter over the Ba‘shiqah area near Mosul at 6pm local time Monday. Witnesses said that a Resistance Strela rocket hit the craft in the air, blowing parts of the crewmen’s bodies around the area over the parks in the area. The wreckage was still smoldering when the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam filed his report on the downing.
Resistance pounds US base near Mosul.
Local witnesses also reported that Resistance fighters fired forty-six 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds into the US al-Ghazlani camp west of Mosul at 12 noon Monday, killing 23 American soldiers. Sirens wailed and US fighter aircraft took off and prowled the skies over the base after the attack. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that 14 Grad rockets were also fired into the camp, sending thick smoke into the air as blasts resounded inside the American facility.
Meanwhile, an official of the Mosul Teaching Hospital reported seeing five US Humvees destroyed inside the American camp. He said he also saw an American armored vehicle that had been struck directly by one of the mortar rounds.

American and Iraqi puppet “national guard” forces closed the five bridges linking parts of Mosul together and also closed the Ba‘shiqha dirt road, preventing anyone entering or leaving the area at 5am Monday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported. US forces reportedly distributed leaflets carrying pictures of “wanted” Resistance fighters and offered huge material rewards, of up to US$25 million for help in apprehending the patriots. On the other hand the Americans threatened the city that a massive offensive would be launched against Mosul to capture what the Resistance fighters, whom they called “rebels and terrorists.”
Other leaflets were dropped that called on the local people “not to let the Wahhabis and Islamic extremists to rob you of your right to life.” The American documents called on local people saying “help us set you free.” The documents made reference to the Resistance movement’s prohibition on cinemas and women’s beauty parlors in Mosul and on the ringing of church bells.
In response to threat offensive by the Americans, mosques in Mosul called up all the Resistance fighting detachments and issued permission to women to carry arms along with the men if necessary. One Shaykh in a local mosque told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US blockade on Monday was a test and that the Resistance would mount a very heavy response.
The commander of the al-Faruq Brigades declared that the armed Resistance groups had taken the necessary measures, indicating that supplies of men, materiel and equipment were arriving. He said, “we are ready for a second Battle of Badr,” referring to a victorious battle waged by the Prophet Muhammad. At the time the correspondent filed his dispatch (posted at noon Monday) the US blockade of the city of Mosul, which has a population of 2,150,000, was still in force. The situation was tense and US forces had expelled four correspondents for Arabic satellite news stations from the city, raising further suspicions among Resistance fighters that the US intended to launch an attack.
Samarra’.
Deputy puppet police chief in Samarra’ assassinated.
The United Arab Emirates newspaper al-Bayan reported Monday that puppet so-called “Iraqi interior ministry” had reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had shot and killed Muhammad al-Badri the deputy puppet police chief in Samarra’. Reports said that Resistance fighters sprayed the puppet police official’s car with bullets, killing him instantly.
As-Samawah.
“Most cowardly” Japanese invader forces try to buy protection from local tribes.
The legend of the brave samurai warrior who fights to the death has been crushed by the Resistance in Iraq. Japanese aggressor troops have taken to cajoling heads of Arab tribes to provide protection for their invasion force in the area of as-Samawah in the south of the country, Mafkarat al-Islam reported. A meeting to that end was held on Sunday evening outside the city. In return for protection the Japanese promised to build facilities for local people and provide the unemployed with jobs.
The Japanese aggressor offer came two days after two mortar rounds crashed into the Japanese camp at 1am. Japanese forces made no announcements regarding the extent of casualties. The Japanese have acquired the reputation among Iraqis of being the most cowardly of all the aggressor armies. Perhaps the troops sent by the Japanese government, which is a satellite of Washington, simply see no reason to die for US imperialism.
Al-Mahawil.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired three 82mm mortar rounds into the British al-Mahawil base in the south of Iraq at 10:30am Monday, sending smoke rising into the sky.
Al-Basrah.
Resistance car bombings target puppet security forces.
Two Iraqi Resistance car bombs exploded in al-Basrah and Abu al-Khasib late on Monday. One car bomb driven by a Resistance martyrdom fighter blasted into the puppet so-called “interior ministry” building belonging to the Iraqi puppet regime’s secret police in al-Basrah, located in the al-Jaza’ir area of the city.
All employees of the puppet so-called “interior ministry” in the city area members of the Shi‘i chauvinist collaborationist Badr Brigades.
Another Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded in the al-Hamdan puppet police station in the Abu al-Khasib area but no information was available on the extent of casualties.
