Al-Fallujah.
Resistance beats back US attack on al-Fallujah, advances 700 meters into formerly US occupied parts of the city.
In a dispatch posted at 11:35pm Mecca time Friday, Mafkarat a-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters in al-Fallujah advanced 700 meters into the areas that the US occupation troops had controlled, outside the an-Nazal neighborhood after beating back an American attempt to break into that neighborhood.
The local Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that the Resistance at that point was encircling more than 20 US troops inside one house opposite the government offices in the city. They had succeeded in setting seven US tanks ablaze, killing all aboard them. They also seized and killed three US troops. Resistance forces are still trying to hold the remainder of the US forces there.
The correspondent, speaking by telephone from al-Fallujah, said that Shaykh Abu As‘ad ad-Dulaymi, member and spokesman of the Consultative Council of Mujahideen of al-Fallujah, said that the Resistance had shot down a second helicopter. He also said that they would advance warily into areas where the US troops were located, lest they fall into an American trap aimed at drawing out and destroying Resistance forces.
The Shaykh said that 13 Iraqi Resistance fighters had so far been killed, among them five fraternal Arab fighters from Syria and Jordan, and also one Sudanese named Abu ‘Uthman who had arrived in al-Fallujah just days before at the head of a contingent of Sudanese fighters.
Resistance rocket attacks on US forces in and around al-Fallujah Friday.
In a dispatch posted at 11:25pm Mecca time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had mounted a new missile assault on US forces in the north of al-Fallujah.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attack took place at 10:30am Friday, local time, and that the Resistance fired eight Katyusha rockets at the US troops.
Then at 4:30pm Friday, the Resistance fired four Grad rockets at the US base in the agricultural zone northeast of the city, at US troops near the ruins of the train station, and at US troops in the as-Sakani neighborhood.
The Resistance fired about 26 Katyusha rockets at the US troops in the as-Sakani neighborhood at dawn on Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 10:15pm Mecca time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that 22 US troops were killed by Resistance fire in a village in the as-Saqlawiyah area near al-Fallujah.
Five Resistance fighters attacked the US forces after they crossed the highway towards the al-‘Ayn village east of as-Saqlawiyah.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that the Resistance fighters fired BKC machine guns and anti-personnel RPG7 rockets (“al-Mihdar”) at the Americans, killing 22 of them, all of the soldiers who had crossed the highway. Two Resistance fighters fell as martyrs and a third person was wounded. Resistance fighters took him away from the scene.
US forces cordoned off the ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah community south of al-Fallujah after Resistance fighters there opened fire on the US forces several times.
Resistance fighters on Thursday killed a lackey of the US occupation. US occupation forces killed two persons who had gone out to the edges of ‘Amiriyat al-Fallujah to use the telephone ミ since the network is limited inside ‘Amiriyah. Seeing them, the Americans simply shot them dead.
US finds 11 beheaded American bodies.
In a dispatch posted at 8:40pm Friday night Mecca time, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US occupation forces on Friday found the bodies of 11 US troops who had been beheaded.

The bodies were found near the tannery ma‘mal li-ad-Dabbagh outside al-Fallujah. Witnesses say the bodies showed that they had been killed several days ago.
The Battle of the Almighty Avenging God rages in al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 8:05pm Mecca time Friday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that violent fighting had broken out at 6:30pm local time in al-Fallujah. The correspondent there reported that US aircraft were bombing as he wrote Resistance positions in the an-Nazal and ash-Shuhada’ neighborhoods and that clouds of smoke and flame were rising from US vehicles struck by Resistance rockets.
The correspondent wrote that he personally had seen five US tanks ablaze, in one of it one could hear the crew inside screaming because they were trapped in the burning vehicle.
One house had been destroyed when a US Black Hawk helicopter crashed into it. Mosque loud speakers are proclaiming the call “God is greatest” Allahu akbar! and calling out prayers for the victory of the Resistance fighters. US forces bombarded one of the mosques, the al-Firdaws Mosque in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood, but the loudspeakers continued to work and issue the “God is greatest” call, the correspondent reported.
Shaykh Abu Nur of the Consultative Council of the Mujahideen of al-Fallujah said that the battles so far had left four Humvees and six new-style US tanks on fire killing all those inside. One Black Hawk helicopter was shot down over the an-Nazal neighborhood.
He added that the battles had been going on for two hours, at that time, and he vowed that “we will wipe them all out.” “We have been preparing ourselves for them since morning,” he explaned. “Today’s battle is vengeance for the Qur’an that they desecrated with their feet in our mosques. It is vengeance for Fatimah the prisoner in Abu Ghurayb. We have called this the Battle of the Almighty Avenger God. One 17-year old fighter, one of our Syrian brothers, has been martyred and one Iraqi has been wounded. This is the battle of the Ummah of Muhammad against the infidels, and our faith in God is great.”
Important communiqu from al-Fallujah Resistance: New fighters join ranks of Resistance in al-Fallujah, Diversity of Resistance reflects the whole Iraqi people and must stay that way.
A communiqu issued by the Consultative Council of the Mujahideen of al-Fallujah and circulated Friday morning in the southern, Resistance-controlled part of the city, said that 1,200 new fighters had joined the ranks of the Resistance there, double the number of Resistance fighters who had been martyred.
The communiqu also said that the Resistance in the city had only lost one-fifth of its weapons and equipment in the course of the fighting, and that they have enough to continue battling the Americans for three more years at the same level of intensity.
The communiqu noted that there are two leaderships in the Resistance, one military and the other religious. It warned the latter against transgressing its limits, noting that “it is impermissible for the religious leadership to interfere in military plans as to advancing or retreating, withdrawing or attacking.” It noted however, that “the two leaderships are united in the Consultative Council of the Mujahideen of al-Fallujah and that no created being is obliged to obey another created being except insofar as that benefits the Muslims,” to quote the communiqu, which also called for “tightening the ranks and joint coordination within the Resistance.”
The communiqu warned against reducing the Resistance to the leadership of one man, warning, “some fighting groups try to spread a spirit of domination over the Resistance. But the Mujahid came with the desire to fight in the path of God, not seeking money or good living. The communiqu said that “limiting the Resistance to one man leadership would weaken it and slow down its work, particularly in a situation such as that prevailing in Iraq.”
The communiqu said that it expected the coming month to be decisive, as the Resistance “throws its weight into military operations.”
The communiqu noted that the Resistance in al-Fallujah had “urged the fighting detachments in the southern parts of the city to focus on forces other than the Americans, inflicting the greatest possible losses on them.”
The document poured scorn on “those who put hopes or expectations in the occupation coming out with ringing words and lying slogans about housing, meekness, and fake elections.” It compared that with a coward who hopes someone will carry his sword.
The communiqu raised questions about rumors within the Resistance about attempts to hijack the movement or push it in the direction of some particular fighting detachments, that perhaps do not have the ability or energy or even the ideas on which to rise to the leadership of the Iraqi Resistance. The Resistance consists of different detachments, Islam and patriotic ones, and they have distinct vision and different military capabilities. With their diversity, they represent all the segments of the Iraqi people, all their various and distinct points of view. Any effort to push the Resistance in one particular group’s direction would deter groups with other views from fully integrating into the Resistance, even though it is certain that the Resistance is fully united when the matter has to do with driving out the occupation and defending the religion, honor, and wealth of the country. The time for picking fruits and distributing the spoils of war takes time to arrive and must not be done at the proper time, otherwise the Resistance will fail and its aroma disperse, the communiqu noted.
