477 Abrams Tanks Reinforce Marines in Falluja ﾐ Fierce Fighting
Between Monday and Tuesday, the Iraqi Resistance has observed a total of 477 Abrams Tanks being brought to the city of Falluja through four massive convoys which also included other armored vehicles, Humvees, fuel tankers, and supplies.
In addition, a further fifth massive convoy carrying 325 Abram Tanks was seen leaving Baghdad and heading for Falluja. This convoy was subject to an attack near the area of ‘Kurma’ to the north of Falluja which resulted in the burning of 8 gasoline tankers and 6 Tank transport vehicles (each transport carries 2 tanks). The attack was able to claim 23 US casualties.
Fierce fighting has been breaking out in various districts of Falluja, with the most intense in the past 3 days taking place last night in the northern part of ‘Jolan’ district. The US used planes and shells to attack the Resistance, while the Resistance inside Falluja responded with 120mm and 82mm Mortar rounds, in addition to attacks from the Resistance outside Falluja on the US mass using ‘Karad’ rockets.

Resistance Kills 350 Marines in 3 Days of Fighting
In related news, Abu Asaad Dulaimy, the spokesman for the Islamic Resistance in Falluja claimed that 350 US marines had been killed in the fighting over the last 3 days in and around Falluja. Dulaimy also reported that 82 Resistance Fighters had been martyred in the fighting, but that God has graciously replaced them with 5 times that number in fresh reinforcements coming into the city.
In addition, Dulaimy reported that since the fighting on Saturday, 47 US troops had been taken prisoner (3 of whom were high ranking) as well as 243 soldiers from the Iraqi Occupation Army. When asked about the previous US prisoners, Dulaimy indicated that they were no longer alive.
On the issue of Resistance Fighters held with the occupation, Dulaimy stated that many of the fighters were captured on the 26th of Ramadhan as a result of the US using a ‘knock-out’ gas when it attacked Falluja and for which the Resistance was ill prepared. Many of the fighters who fell unconscious or were paralyzed by the gas became easy prey for the occupation.

F-16 Downed in Falluja
On Tuesday, the Iraqi Resistance Fighters managed to down a US F-16 flying over the area of ‘Shuhada’ district in Falluja using a SAM-9. The plane fell, but over the ‘Nazal’ district which cause the destruction of 2 homes. It is believed the pilot ejected from the plane before impact and a search in the ‘Nazal’ and ‘Shuahda’ district for the pilot is being conducted.
