Al-Fallujah.
Resistance counter attacks strike US supply lines force American armor to retreat north of railroad tracks.

In a dispatch posted at 2:25am Wednesday morning local time (1:25am Wednesday Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that after US forces had succeeded in driving into northern al-Fallujah, Resistance forces from outside the city surprised the attacking Americans with an intense barrage, forcing them to retreat to the north for fear of being cut off.

Eyewitnesses reported that the sudden Resistance attack sent US supply lines into disarray, forcing the Americans to retreat to the north of the rail road tracks. Witnesses said that the American snipers, however, were still posted atop high rooftops, although their armor had pulled back under heavy rocket fire from mobile Resistance rocket launchers.

Witnesses reported seeing some 25 balls of fire ミ 16 of them very intense ミ after Bradley armored vehicles or Abrams tanks had been hit by rocket fire and set ablaze. Smaller fire balls were the burning hulks of stricken Humvees or smaller armored vehicles.

Fighting in central al-Fallujah intensifies after midnight Tuesday-Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 12:55am Wednesday local time (11:55pm Tuesday night, Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the city was at the time of writing undergoing US bombardment, and that the fighting on the ground between the invaders and the Iraqi Resistance had sharply intensified, particularly in the ash-Shurtah neighborhood, and the ad-Dubbat neighborhood in the center of the city.

US forces were at that hour also reportedly penetrating into the al-‘Askari neighborhood of the city amidst intensive US bombing and in the course of bloody fighting. Yet the situation for the advancing Americans in the city had not yet stabilized and there were questions about the extent to which some US advances might have been in response to Resistance ruses.

Meanwhile Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded American troop concentrations with more than 150 rockets during the previous hour in various sectors of the front in the city, onto which US forces had convered from all four directions. All the American units stopped, however, in the areas under Resistance bombardment.

US invaders penetrate four neighborhoods of al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 9:45pm Tuesday evening local time (8:45pm Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US aggressor troops had invaded four neighborhoods in al-Fallujah after hysterical bombing by US aircraft.

The correspondent wrote that the Ameican invaders had entered the neighborhoods of al-Mu‘allimin, al-Jawlan, al-Jaghifi, and ash-Shurtah.

The correspondent wrote that the US forces were using the same approach they had used when they invaded the city of Samarra’: deploying snipers atop most of the buildings of the city inhibiting the movement of Resistance fighters on the ground and then sending in their battle tanks afterwards.

Massive American bombing of al-Fallujah “more intense than the bombing of Baghdad.”
In a dispatch posted at 8:55pm Tuesday evening local time (7:55pm Mecca time) the correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Fallujah reported that US aggressor forces had so far dropped more than 200,000 bombs on the city in bombing and shelling that was going on without letup.

US planes had dropped about 90 container bombs which blast apart releasing anti-personnel cluster bombs. In all more than 200,000 cluster bombs would be released from 90 containers.

This figure is in addition to the incendiary rockets and other forms of anti-personnel shrapnel bombs.

Eyewitnesses report that the bombing is more intense than that to which Baghdad was subjected before it was occupied by the Americans in spring 2003.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that although the morale of the people of al-Fallujah and their determination to fight on remains high, the humanitarian situation in the city is at tragic levels. The wounded are piling up without any prospect of medical treatment or doctors available. This is particularly true since the Americans bombarded the al-Hadar Hospital and the Zayid Mobile Hospital.

Amidst fierce fighting, Resistance blocks US advance from the north, as the south of the city holds firm but the situation on the eastern and western fronts is unclear.
In a dispatch posted at 7:10pm Tuesday night local time (6:10pm Mecca time) the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance forces had halted the US advance into al-Fallujah’s north side.

Fierce fighting at that hour was under way in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of the city, where a stream of US tanks were trying to pour in. Resistance forces are subjecting the invading American front ranks to a barrage of fire.

A particular difficulty for the Resistance fighters is posed by US helicopters that land American snipers on buildings in the areas surrounding battle zones. This was particularly apparent in the northern al-Jaghifi neighborhood, where the American invaders landed more than 10 snipers on the at-Tawfiq Mosque, making it difficult for the Resistance fighters to move in that part of the city.

The situation in the eastern and the western parts of the city remains unclear and no confirmed information was available from those sectors at that time. The correspondent expressed the opinion that Tuesday night might be decisive since, as a member of the Council of Mujahideen of al-Fallujah said, Resistance fighters’ morale would get a boost as it was the night of the 27th of the holy month of Ramadan ミ called the Night of Power in the Qur’an.

In addition, the correspondent noted, the Iraqi Resistance usually carries out its major attacks under cover of night when it is more difficult for American forces to follow their movements. The previous night, for example, Resistance forces pounded the Americans with 160 rockets.

Meanwhile on the south side of the city, the Resistance was still largely solid. Aggressor troops had been unable to advance from that direction towards the city.

US aggressors break into northern part of al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Tuesday afternoon local time, 3:30pm Mecca time, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that US aggressor troops had broken into the city of al-Fallujah from the north at around midday Tuesday.

The break in occurred in the area between the al-Jaghifi and al-Mu‘allimin neighborhoods in the north around one hour before he filed his report.

The correspondent wrote that the US forces used all types of weapons in their assault against the Resistance fighters of the people of al-Fallujah who continue to battle violently against the US invaders. The Americans are using weapons that they had never used in Iraq before, except during the famous Battle at Saddam International Airport in the spring of 2003 (where attacking US CIA forces were trapped and killed by Iraqi forces under the leadership of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein shortly before the occupation of Baghdad).

At 4:30pm Tuesday, an Iraqi Resistance car bomb blew up next to a US military column, destroying a Humvee and a Bradley armored vehicle and killing six American troops. US forces after the attack opened fire indiscriminately on civilians, killing four passers by.

Tuesday morning: Resistance destroys four US tanks, surrounds others in continued fierce fighting.
Iraqi Resistance forces destroyed four American tanks, two in the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood and one in al-‘Askari, and the fourth in the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood of al-Fallujah on Tuesday.

In a dispatch from the city posted at 4:07pm local time Tuesday afternoon (3:07pm Mecca time) the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that Resistance forces drew in a group of US tanks and then attacked them from the rear, forcing them into the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood where they were surrounded.

At the time of writing, US fighter bombers were firing into the al-Mu‘allimin neighborhood trying to rescue the American tanks, in which were at least 18 American troops.

At the time of writing, Iraqi Resistance forces were shelling the area around al-Fallujah General Hospital west of the city where there is a heavy concentration of US troops. The correspondent wrote that Resistance rockets are striking US forces but not the hospital itself with great accuracy, indicating that the Resistance studied the terrain in that area before the latest US offensive, so as to avoid striking the hospital itself. The correspondent wrote that the US forces did not seize control of the General Hospital by ground assault but by landings from the air.

Physician issues call to all Iraqi doctors to come to al-Fallujah as number of wounded mounts out of control.
Dr. Muhammad Isma‘il a member of the governing board of the al-Fallujah General Hospital issued an appeal on Tuesday to doctors around the country to come to al-Fallujah to help with the disastrous situation in the city as a result of the ferocious US attack.

Dr. Isma‘il told Mafkarat al-Islam that the number of injured and wounded citizens of the city is increasing at an alarming rate, and that even if al-Fallujah General Hospital were working at its maximum capacity ミ which it cannot due to the destruction inflicted by the Americans ミ it would still not be able to provide medical care to the number of wounded persons who are now being produced by the American offensive.

Dr. Isma‘il noted that US troops had arrested many members of the medical staff in al-Fallujah and had sealed the stores of medical supplies. As a result, an Iraqi nurse yesterday had to perform surgery to remove a piece of American shrapnel from the back of an Iraqi child.

Baghdad.

Resistance pounds US forces from behind their lines, widening the field of conflict.
Iraqi Resistance forces are seeking to expand the liberation war throughout the predominantly Sunni regions of Iraq. A statement from the Resistance disclosed that the Resistance aims at spreading the struggle from al-Fallujah to Baghdad after fierce attacks by Resistance forces outside al-Fallujah wrecked havoc in the rear of the attacking Americans. Resistance forces pounded them with more than 200 rockets in unprecedented barrages Tuesday-Wednesday night. Unlit mobile Iraqi Resistance rocket launchers have been sneaking Resistance rockets behind US lines under cover of darkness to strike the enemy from where he does not expect it.

Resistance units issue unified declaration imposing curfew on Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 1:05am Mecca time (2:05am Baghdad time Wednesday morning, the local correspondents for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the city was virtually clear of US troops, all American forces and their puppet police and puppet “national guardsmen” confining themselves to their fortress bases after the Resistance had imposed a curfew on the Iraqi capital.

Explosions could be heard all over the city, as Resistance fighters strike targets of the occupation and its stooges.

Informed sources have confirmed that the Iraqi Resistance imposed its control on the entirety of 60 Street in the southern suburb of ad-Durha, on Hur Rajab, Abu Ghurayb, al-‘Abidi, as-Suwayrah, Salman Bak, al-Latifiyah, and al-Yusufiyah in the greater Baghdad area, after a day of unprecedented attacks throughout the area timed to coincide with the US drive at al-Fallujah.

Today marks the first time since the occupation of Baghdad that the Iraqi Resistance has been able to impose its control over all these districts, in what represents a major defeat for the American invader troops, putting them back to square one and robbing them of the fruits of their months of occupation.

At this time, all detachments of the Iraqi Resistance are united in the struggle against US aggression. A joint statement issued by Resistance organizations was received by Mafkarat al-Islam, carrying the signatures of :

1. at-Tawhid wa-al-Jihad.
2. Ansar as-Sunnah.
3. Al-Jaysh al-Islami.
4. The Secret Army. (al-Jaysh as-Sirri).
5. The Black Banners (ar-Rayat as-Sawda’).
6. The Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Brigades.
7. The Lions of the Two Rivers.
8. The Brigades.

This is also the first time that these detachments of the Iraqi Resistance have issued a unified declaration. The statement also urged its distribution widely among the Iraqi people through mosques and in areas controlled by the Iraqi Resistance. The statement ordered the curfew in the city and ordered the people not to leave their houses as the Resistance patrolled the city.
