Al-Fallujah.

US pounds al-Fallujah during the night.

US forces intensively bombed al-Fallujah, dumping three container bombs full of anti-personnel cluster bombs on various neighborhoods of the city. Resistance fighters fought back causing the Americans to fall back on the use of rockets and grenades. In a dispatch posted at 4:37am local time (3:37am Mecca time) the local Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that the situation remained extremely tense.

Resistance repels early morning US attempt to storm al-Fallujah from the south west.

Iraqi Resistance forces beat back a major US Marine attack on al-Fallujah from the southwest. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US troops tried to storm the city from the al-Fallujah Dam area, to the southwest of the city. US tanks and armored vehicles took part. Contrary to the Americans’ expectations, however, the Resistance observed their attempt and fired back with 60mm and 82mm mortars, RPG7s, SBG9s, beginning around 5:30am local time Tuesday morning. Three Resistance fighters were wounded in the combat, as were five civilians.

US forces continued their attacks on al-Fallujah Tuesday morning. US aircraft fired five rockets at al-Jaghifi neighborhood in the north of the city as US tank cannon fired four shells into the city. The US fire was concentrated on the area around the at-Tawfiq Mosque and that Resistance fighters were continuing to fight back, exchanging fire with the US aggressors.

Three US troops killed, two wounded in highway ambush.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on the highway passing through New Baghdad under a US patrol at 2:30pm Thursday, destroying one Bradley armored vehicle and killing three US troops and wounding two others.

Three US troops were killed when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded, destroying their Humbee at 1:30pm Tuesday. A number of other US troops were wounded and several Iraqis also received light injuries from the blast.

One soldier killed in bombing.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a US patrol at 1:45pm Tuesday in the area of the US occupation headquarters in the area of the Republican Palace in Baghdad, known to the invaders as the “green zone,” disabling a Humvee and killing one US soldier.

Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded at about 2:30pm in the west of Abu Ghurayb destroying a truck and killing two US Marines. A Bradley armored vehicle on its way to al-Fallujah was also set ablaze in the blast.

Three US troops were killed and two others wounded when an Iraqi Resistance bomb expoloded in the al-Mushahadah area north of Baghdad at about 2pm Tuesday, destroying an armored vehicle.

Three Iraqi puppet troops killed.

At about 3:45pm Tuesday in the ar-Rahmaniyah area of al-Karakh, killing three puppet “national guardsmen” and wounding four others. One Iraqi Resistance fighter was also killed.

Eight suspected Mossad agents killed in Baghdad Tuesday afternoon.

Eight individuals believed to be agents of the Zionist Mossad were killed in an Iraqi Resistance attack on two GMC cars at about 3:15pm Tuesday on the Airport Road as it passed through the an-Naft neighborhood opposite the Red Building. The Resistance struck the cars with RPG7 and BKC fire, destroying both and killing the Zionists inside.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb destroyed a US Humvee in the area between Kaniya and ad-Durah in the southern suburbs of Baghdad at about 6pm Tuesday, killing two US troops.

Four US troops were killed and five others wounded when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in al-Ghazaliyah south of Baghdad at 1:30pm near the al-Bikriyah neighborhood, destroying hteir Humvee.

Five US troops were killed when their Bradley armored vehicle was destroyed by a Resistance car bomb on the road that passes through al-‘Amil neighborhood south of Baghdad at 10am Tuesday

An Iraqi Resistance land mine destroyed a Bradley armored vehicle on Airport Road in al-Bayya‘ neighborhood near the Ibn Taymiyah mosque at 8am, killing two US troops.

Two Badr Brigade gunmen killed.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a 1990 Opel car belonging to the Badr Brigades in the al-Jihad neighborhood of Baghdad with Kalashnikov assault rifles at 8:15, killing two Badr Brigade gunmen.

Resistance kills three US intelligence officers and four US soldiers.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US intelligence GMC together with its Humvee escort on the highway in al-Hurriyah in Baghdad at about 8:30am. Resistance fighters fired C5K and RPG7s at the vehicles, destroying both and killing four US soldiers and three US intelligence officers.

Spy said kidnapped.

At about 10am a man believed to be a spy for US occupation forces was kidnapped from a white Toyota Camri in al-A‘zamiyah in Baghdad.

US soldier killed in ar-Ridwaniyah.

Iraqi Resistance fighters at 12 noon disabled a US Bradley armored vehicle and killed a US soldier in ar-Ridwaniyah.

Three US troops killed in ‘Arab Jabbur.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in ‘Arab Jabbur at about 10:30am with a heavy bomb destroying a US Humvee and killing three US troops.

Four US troops killed in attack.

At about 10am Iraqi Resistance forces battled US troops, destroying a Bradley armored vehicle with two C5K rockets and killing four USA troops. Six puppet “national guard” troops were killed when their two pickup trucks were destroyed.

Resistance attack in Abu Ghurayb.

At 6:45am Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US truck with an RPG7 in Abu Ghurayb, killing two US Marines.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded at 10am under a US patrol on the old street in Abu Ghurayb destroying a Humvee and killing four US Marines. US troops then opened fire indiscriminately on passersby in the area, killing three innocent Iraqis.

Badr Brigades blamed for car bombing that killed Iraqi civilians.

Iraqi sources quoted by Mafkarat al-Islam report that the Shi‘i chauvinist Badr Brigades are likely responsible for the car bombing in al-A‘zamiyah that killed eight Iraqi civilians and wounded more than 20 others. The car exploded in a crowded, predominantly Sunni area as a US patrol was passing. One US Humvee was damaged and one US soldier was killed in the blast at 9am Tuesday. The Badr Brigades were blamed for the blast, despite the slight damage it did to the Brigades’ American allies because the death toll of Iraqi civilians could tend to cast a shadow over the Resistance if Resistance forces were blamed for the bombing.

Three US marines and two US intelligence officers killed in al-Latifiyah Tuesday afternoon.

Three US Marines and two US intelligence officers were killed when two Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded under a US patrol at about 4pm Tuesday in al-Latifiyah, followed by a Resistance attack with RPG7 rockets, destroying a Humvee and a Toyota Land Cruiser

Resistance kills four puppet policemen in mortar strike on puppet police station.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a puppet police station in al-Basrah, killing four puppet policemen, one a first lieutenant, at 5:10. The Resistance carried out their attack on the al-‘Ashshar puppet police station using 82mm mortar rounds, according to a report posted at 6:07am Mecca time (7:07am local time) Tuesday morning.

Bombardments throughout Iraq.

At 6am three Katyusha rockets fell amidst the US intelligence officers housed at al-Muthanna airfield in Baghdad.

At about 6am four 82mm mortar rounds crashed into the US as-Suqur base south of Baghdad.

Three 120mm mortar rounds struck the US base in at-Taji at 7:30am.

At 9am Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Tariq rockets into the US al-Bakr base in Balad north of Baghdad.

At about 1:45pm Resistance forces struck the US base in the former Meat supply company in the ‘Urayj district south of Baghdad with several 82mm mortar rounds.

At 3pm Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded a British base in the al-Mahmudiyah area south of Baghdad with large Katyusha rockets, sending up clouds of smoke.

At 4:30pm Iraqi Resistance fighters fired five 82mm mortar rounds into the US as-Suqur base.

At 8:15pm Iraqi Resistance forces fired four 82mm mortar roundsin to the US as-Suqur base.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired four Grad rockets into the US base at Saddam International Airport.

At about 5:30pm Iraqi Resistance forces fired three Katyusha rockets into the US occupation headquarters in the Republican Palace in Baghdad, known to US invaders as the “green zone.”

Iraqi Resistance fighters bombarded the US headquarters in al-Mahawil near Babil with thirteen 120mm mortar rounds.
