Al-Fallujah.
Resistance rockets slam into US base in agricultural zone near al-Fallujah.
Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US base located in the agricultural area northeast of al-Fallujah with two large rockets, probably Grads, that blasted powerfully into the base, according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam whose report on the attack was posted at 7:56pm Friday evening Mecca time (8:56pm local time).
Resistance bombards US forces in al-Karmah at sunset Friday.
Just after sunset on Friday evening, Iraqi Resistance forces unleashed a barrage of twelve 120mm mortar rounds on the US forces in the headquarters of the puppet Iraqi so-called “civil defense forces” in al-Karmah.
Dozens demonstrate in al-Karmah for the release of two local women taken captive by US forces.
Dozens of Iraqis took part in a large demonstration in al-Karmah, 10km northeast of al-Fallujah to denounce the arrest by American aggressor forces of Iraqi women for no reason. Al-Jazeera satellite TV reported that dozens came out to protest after Friday congregational prayers against the arrest of two local women. The gathering demanded that US forces release the women.
US resumes bombardment of southern parts of al-Fallujah Friday afternoon.
The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Fallujah reported in a dispatch posted at 5:55pm local time (4:55pm Mecca time) that the southern parts of the city were at that moment under bombardment from US attackers. The ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood and the industrial zone were being hit by tank shells at the time he wrote his report.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column on the highway near Sadr al-Qanat in Baghdad at 4:15pm Friday afternoon. The Resistance detonated a series of bombs that destroyed one Humvee and a US truck loaded with provisions. Five US troops were killed in the attack.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US supply convoy on the highway in the Sadr al-Qanat area of Baghdad at about 8am Friday. One military fuel tank truck and one supply truck were destroyed in the attack. Four US soldiers who were aboard the vehicles were killed.
Three suspected US intelligence officers killed in Friday evening ambush.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US GMC vehicle belonging to US intelligence on the Airport Road in al-‘Amiriyah in Baghdad at about 6pm Friday evening. The GMC was destroyed and three suspected US intelligence officers killed.
Eight Americans killed as Resistance foils American raid on Hayfa Street.
US aggressor troops backed by a unit of puppet so-called “Iraqi national guardsmen” attempted to storm Hayfa street in Baghdad’s al-Karakh district at about 8pm local time Friday. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported that Resistance fighters stubbornly stood up to the American attack, firing RPG7 and C5K rockets and destroying two Bradley armored vehicles.
Resistance fighters armed with BKCs and other automatic weapons killed eight US troops, and also destroyed one white Nissan pickup truck belonging to the puppet troops. Three puppet troops were also killed in the battle.

Four US troops and four members of the Iraqi puppet forces were killed on Friday when fighting erupted between them and the Iraqi Resistance at about 10am on Hayfa Street in Baghdad’s al-Karakh district. One US Bradley armored vehicle and one Nissan pickup truck were destroyed in the fighting.
Seven Badr Brigade collaborator gunmen killed in Resistance ambush.
Seven members of the Badr Brigades were killed at about 9am Friday morning when Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles and hand grenades attacked the two cars in which they were driving through the al-Mushahadah area of the Baghdad district of al-Karakh. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that one Nissan Patrol car and one Nissan pickup truck were set ablaze in the attack.
The Badr Brigades are the armed wing of the Shi‘i chauvinist so-called “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCIRI) that invaded Iraq together with US troops in spring 2003.
Resistance car bomb kills three US intelligence agents, three US troops in Baghdad.
A car bomb driven by an Iraqi Resistance fighter slammed his car into a column of US troops and intelligence officers on the road to Saddam International Airport at 6:15pm local time Friday evening. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast destroyed one GMC command car owned by the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and also one Humvee that was accompanying the column. Three American CIA agents, one believed to be an officer, were killed in the bombing. Three US troops were also killed in the car bombing.
Eight puppet troops die in Resistance ambush Friday night.
Iraqi Resistance fighters with hand grenades and BKC automatic weapons destroyed a pickup truck belonging to the Iraqi puppet forces in the al-I‘lam neighborhood of Baghdad at 9pm Friday night. Eight puppet troops were killed, including one officer with the rank of first lieutenant.
Fourteen US troops killed in battle in ar-Ridwaniyah early Friday afternoon.
Fighting broke out between US aggressor troops and the Iraqi Resistance at 1:30pm Friday afternoon in the ar-Rashid area of ar-Ridwaniyah in Baghdad. In the course of the battle Resistance fighters destroyed two Humvees and two armored vehicles.
The Resistance fighters also fired a C5K rocket at a US Black Hawk helicopter, setting it ablaze in the air. The craft stayed aloft, though on fire, until it flew out of sight. Its ultimate fate remains unknown.
In all 14 US troops were killed and six Iraqi Resistance fighters were martyred.
Four US Marines killed in bombing in ar-Ridwaniyah.
An extremely powerful Iraqi Resistance bomb blew a US armored vehicle into two parts in the ar-Ridwaniyah area, killing at least four Marines according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in a dispatch posted at 4:46 Mecca time (5:46 local time) Friday afternoon.
Two American soldiers killed, another seriously injured in ar-Ridwaniyah.
Two US troops were killed and a third seriously wounded when an Iraqi Resistance bomb, believed to be of powerful Austrian explosives, blew up under an American Humvee in ar-Ridwaniyah, according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in a dispatch posted at 4:50 Mecca time (5:50 local time) Friday afternoon.

The Resistance fired rocket-propelled grenades at the US patrol, destroying one Humvee and one Bradley armored vehicle. Seven American soldiers died in the ambush.

Three US troops were wounded, one of them seriously when an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a US Bradley armored vehicle in the al-Jihad neighborhood of Baghdad at about 11am Friday. The blast heavily damaged the vehicle and wounded the three men. Local witnesses described the wounds of one of the men as serious, judging from the way the other US troops treated him.
Four American troops killed in Resistance bombing in ad-Durah.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a US patrol in the ‘Arab Jabbur area of ad-Durah on the southern outskirts of Baghdad. One Humvee was destroyed in the bombing, killing four US troops.

Seven US Marines killed in Resistance ambush near al-Latifiyah Friday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces 4:30pm Friday afternoon attacked a US patrol on the main public road leading from al-Mahmudiyah to al-Latifiyah. Mafkarat al-Islam’s correspondent reported that Resistance bombs and rocket-propelled grenades destroyed one Humvee and one Bradley armored vehicle. Seven US Marines were killed in the attack.

At 1pm Friday afternoon, an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the path of a US patrol in al-Latifiyah, destroying a Humvee and killing three US troops. Two other American soldiers were wounded.
At least three US Marines die in bombing of Humvee in al-Latifiyah.
Iraqi Resistance forces detonated a bomb at 11am Friday in the al-Latifiyah area, reducing a Humvee to a ball of flame and killing at least three US Marines. Some eye witnesses reported that four Marines had been aboard the Humvee.

Iraqi Resistance forces fired rocket-propelled grenades at a Nissan Patrol vehicle belonging to the Badr Brigade Shi‘i chauvinist collaborator militia at about 8am in al-Latifiyah, killing three Brigade members, according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.
The Badr Brigades are the armed wing of the Shi‘i chauvinist so-called “Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq” (SCIRI) that invaded Iraq together with US troops in spring 2003.
Five puppet troops killed in Resistance bombing shortly after 8am in al-Latifiyah.
Five minutes after the above-mentioned attack on a Badr Brigade patrol vehicle in al-Latifiyah, an Iraqi Resistance bomb in the same area exploded under a Nissan pickup truck belonging to the puppet so-called “Iraqi national guard” destroying the truck and killing five puppet troops aboard it.
Mosul.
US, puppet forces raid mosque during Friday sermon.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported in a dispatch posted at 11:15pm Friday night Mecca time that eyewitnesses in Mosul said that Iraqi so-called “national guardsmen” backed by US aggressor troops raided the Dhu an-Nurayn Mosque in Mosul as the Friday congregational service was under way and while the Imam was delivering his sermon. The excuse the troops gave for their raid was that they were searching for Iraqi Resistance fighters.
The aggressor troops smashed the gate to the mosque courtyard and surrounded the building.
A US military mouthpiece said that 106 members of the Iraqi puppet “national guard” carried out the raid and claimed that not one US soldier entered the mosque. Lieutenant Colonel Paul Hastings said that there were no US troops closer than two buildings away from the mosque. He maintained that the Americans simply took part in setting up the ring that encircled the mosque compound.
The Imam of the mosque, however, Shaykh Rayyan Tawfiq, who is a member of the Board of Muslim Scholars of Iraq said that unarmed worshippers prevented the Americans and the puppet forces from entering the mosque itself. In a telephone conversation with Reuters, Shaykh Rayyan refuted US claims that the Americans did not come near the mosque, saying, “the American forces provoked great outrage when they entered the part of the mosque reserved for the women.” Witnesses said that after that confrontation the troops pulled back, to the joy of the worshippers who proclaimed triumphantly, “La ilaha illa Allah!” (“There is no god but God!”)
Al-Basrah.
Three Danish invader troops killed in Resistance bombing Friday evening.
A high-yield Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded at 5:30pm Friday evening under a Danish aggressor patrol on the road to az-Zubayr in the area of al-Basrah. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that two armored vehicles were disabled and one Land Cruiser was destroyed by the blast. Three Danish troops were killed and two others wounded.
Bombardments throughout Iraq on Friday.
The US as-Suqur base south of Baghdad was struck by three Katyusha rockets at about 9am Friday morning.
The headquarters of the US central command in at-Tallah in Baghdad was hit by six 82mm mortar rounds at 9am Friday morning, sending plumes of smoke into the sky over the facility.
The US as-Suqur base came under Resistance barrage at 1pm Friday afternoon when two powerful blasts shook the facility as Grad rockets exploded.
At 3pm Friday afternoon Iraqi Resistance forces fired nine 82mm mortar rounds at the US base in as-Suqur south of Baghdad.
At 3:30pm Resistance forces struck the headquarters of the US occupation in Iraq in the Republican Palace compound, dubbed the “green zone” by the invaders, with two Katyusha rockets.
At 5:40pm Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Katyusha rockets at the US airbase in al-Muthanna in Baghdad.
