Al-Fallujah and ar-Ramadi Province.
Resistance attack causes massive blasts inside US base north of al-Fallujah Wednesday night.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired four Grad rockets before 9:30pm Wednesday night at the US camp in the agricultural zone north of al-Fallujah. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that tongues of flame rose into the sky over the area after the Resistance bombardment which shook the area powerfully. The strength of the explosions suggest that the rockets succeeded in blowing up American ammunition dumps inside the camp.
US bombards two more areas of al-Fallujah just after midday Wednesday.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Wednesday afternoon local time (12:50pm Mecca time) the al-Fallujah correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at that moment the al-Jaghifi neighborhood of al-Fallujah was under an American rocket attack. As of that moment the bombardment had destroyed one house.
The American aggressors were also bombarding the ash-Shuhada’ neighborhood as well at the same time, but further details were initially unavailable.
US targets five local houses in al-Fallujah rocket attack, a family of six is wiped out in latest US attack on civilians.
US forces on Wednesday morning bombarded the 7th of April area of al-Fallujah with rockets, blowing up five houses in the area behind the al-Furqan Mosque, and wiped out one family of six preliminary count. The home of Walid Ibrahim, a local citizen was totally demolished. Neither his wife nor any of his children had emerged from the rubble as of 11:30am local time, according to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city. Ibrahim, his pregnant wife, three daughters, and one son all perished in the American attack. Four other houses were partially destroyed.
The correspondent wrote that although local people began the rescue efforts at dawn just after the American attack, it was not until noon that any bodies were dug out, because there was no heavy equipment available to remove large sections of the two-story structure that had collapsed. Local residents worked with their hands and manual tools.
The city is in need in other ways as well, as the Americans prepare their next offensive on the city. The entire city of al-Fallujah has only two ambulances, after the Americans destroyed two other emergency vehicles about a month ago, the correspondent reported.

Three Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded under a group of US vehicles in as-Saqlawiyah, west of Baghdad, near the as-Saqlawiyah Institute, destroying two Humvees and killing five Marines. Three other Marines were killed in the Wednesday morning attack.
Resistance bomb ambush in Abu Sudayrah leaves eight Americans dead at noon Wednesday.
A powerful Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the path of a US patrol under vehicle in which 13 US troops were riding at about noon Wednesday on the highway in the Abu Sudayrah area of as-Saqlawiyah northwest of al-Fallujah. The blast killed eight US troops.

Iraqi Resistance forces firing anti-personnel “al-Midar” rocket-propelled grenades attacked a US troop transport carrying 11 US troops in the Abu Sudayrah area of as-Saqlawiyah at 6:10pm Wednesday evening. Three rocket-propelled grenades were fired at the US vehicle, striking it directly and killing five US troops, according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam.
Resistance bomb kills three US Marines in ar-Ramadi.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded under a US patrol at 5:45pm Wednesday afternoon in the city of ar-Ramadi, destroying one Humvee. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack also left three US Marines dead and one more seriously wounded.
Ten US troops were killed in clashes with the Resistance in ar-Ramadi Wednesday afternoon.
At about 3:15pm Wednesday afternoon fighting broke out in the area of 1920 Revolution Street in ar-Ramadi. Iraqi Resistance forces fired BKC automatic weapons and SBG9 and C5K rockets at the US troops, destroying one Bradley armored vehicle and two Humvees and killing 10 US troops.
The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eight innocent Iraqi civilians perished, one of them a woman, when US troops opened fire indiscriminately in the course of the battle.
Resistance rocket attack on the US al-Habbaniyah airbase blows up two F-16s.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired two Grad rockets into the US air base at al-Habbaniyah northwest of al-Fallujah on Tuesday blowing up two F-16 fighter bombers that were parked on the airstrip, according to the local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam. Fire could be seen rising from the base on Tuesday evening, but it was only on Wednesday after the correspondent was able to obtain information from Iraqi employees working on the base, that the destruction of the two aircraft could be confirmed.

Three US troops die when they fall for a Resistance trick.
At about 4pm Wednesday afternoon, an Iraqi man appeared on the highway in the area of as-Sayyidiyah in Baghdad carrying three jerry cans full of gasoline. He was obviously a poor, simple local fellow and when he took up his position at the filling station on the highway, everyone understood that he was trying to make a little money selling the three cans of gasoline below the pump price.
Oddly, though, whenever Iraqis interested in buying the fuel approached him, he angrily drove them away.
After awhile a US patrol made up of three Humvees came up on the gasoline station. The man looked terrified and panicky and took off running from the Americans. The US troops laughed at the man’s fright, and got out of the Humvees still enjoying the way they could terrify a local peddler. But when they prodded the jerry cans that the man had abandoned in his flight, a massive explosion blew them apart and even damaged their nearby Humvee. The cans were had in fact been full of explosives and were rigged to explode.
The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam, who reported the story, noted that the attack not only reflected how sophisticated the Resistance fighters have become in their attacks on the US invaders, but also explains why the US troops are suffering from severe stress and psychological problems, as they face every day hundreds of incidents that can seem innocent but prove deadly.
Two suspected CIA agents, three US troops killed in ambush in Baghdad.
Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column on the highway in the al-‘Adl neighborhood of Baghdad on Wednesday, destroying a GMC vehicle of the type used by the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and killing two US CIA officers inside. A Humvee was also destroyed in the attack and three American troops were killed in that vehicle. A fourth American soldier was wounded.

An Iraqi Resistance BMW car bomb blew up next to a US column on the road to Saddam International Airport in the al-‘Amil neighborhood of southern Baghdad at about 5:15pm Wednesday evening. Two Humvees and two GMC vehicles believed to belong to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), one of them a command car, were destroyed in the blast. Two US intelligence officers and seven US troops were killed in the attack.

An Iraqi Resistance Opel car bomb driven by a Resistance fighter blew up at about 9am local time next to a US military column on Airport Road between the al-‘Amil and al-‘Amiriyah neighborhoods of the Iraqi capital. The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast killed 11 American troops and completely destroyed two Humvees and damaged a large part of another.
Eleven US troops killed in massive car bombing in al-Karakh at sunset Wednesday.
An Iraqi Resistance Malibu car bomb exploded at about 5:40pm Wednesday afternoon in the center of the al-Karakh district of Baghdad next to a US military column. The blast destroyed two Bradley armored vehicles and killed at least 11 US soldiers.

At about 9am Wednesday morning Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column on the highway in the as-Sayyidiyah area in the southern part of Baghdad. The Resistance fighters fired C5K and RPG7 rockets, killing three American troops and four Iraqi puppet soldiers. Two Humvees were destroyed, one of them carrying Iraqi puppet troops.
US bombards civilians in al-Khalidiyah Wednesday evening, killing four.
Shortly after sunset Wednesday evening, US forces in the al-Khalidiyah area opened fire on civilians, pounding them with mortars and artillery shells. Four Iraqi civilians, including two brothers, were killed. The local Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that six other Iraqi civilians were wounded in the savage US bombardment.

Iraqi Resistance forces assassinated Mazin as-Samarra’i , the director of the Center of Strategic Studies and Research for the so-called “national accord party” lead by US-appointed puppet prime minister Iyyad ‘Allawi. As-Samarra’i was killed when Resistance fighters showered him with bullets as he was leaving his home in the al-Ghadir area of Baghdad.
As-Samarra’i led the puppet regime’s negotiating team that took part in sham talks with representatives of the city of Samarra’, talks that gave the Americans time to prepare their offensive on the city which they launched despite the truce agreement reached between the city and the puppet regime’s “negotiator.”

At 10am Wednesday morning an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the al-Mahmudiyah area under a Nissan Patrol vehicle belonging to the Shi‘i chauvinist Badr Brigades. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that three Badr Brigade gunmen, including one with the rank of lieutenant, were killed in the blast.

At about 3:45pm Wednesday afternoon Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US convoy in ad-Durah on the southern outskirts of Baghdad firing RPG7 and C5K rockets. Two American trucks loaded with supplies and spare parts were destroyed and three US troops killed. The drivers of both trucks were US troops, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent noted, as many foreigners have begun to refuse to work as drivers for the American troops out of fear of the high probability of Resistance attacks.

At 5:45am Wednesday morning the Iraqi Resistance detonated four heavy bombs under a US column in the al-‘Azim area north of Ba‘qubah. Resistance fighters then sprang at the US troops firing BKC automatic weapons and SBG9, RPG7, and C5K rockets. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the attack destroyed two Humvees, two fuel tank trucks, a small armored vehicle, and two civilian trucks loaded with supplies and materiel for the US troops as well as one American military truck loaded with materiel. At least 19 US troops were reported killed in the sophisticated ambush.

At about 7am Wednesday morning, fighting broke out in the Tilal Hamrayn area of Ba‘qubah. The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance fighters fired rocket-propelled grenades and BKC automatic weapons at the Americans, destroying two Humvees and an armored Land Cruiser belonging to the US troops. Nine American soldiers were killed in the engagement. Two Resistance fighters died as martyrs and two others were wounded.

Rocket and mortar barrage pounds US forces in Tikrit Wednesday afternoon.
Iraqi Resistance forces carried out a qualitatively sophisticated attack on a group of US military columns in the area of the US military base in the Northern Presidential Palace in Tikrit. The local correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that at 3:30pm Wednesday afternoon, Resistance forces opened up on the US troops with a barrage of rockets and mortar rounds. Two powerful Tariq rockets slammed into the Americans, then four Katyusha missiles. Five minutes later Iraqi Resistance forces fired thirteen 82mm mortar rounds onto the American forces.
Three US helicopters were seen carrying the dead and wounded away from the area. Afterwards they came back two more times to pick up more casualties. Meanwhile fires blazed in the area, as was clearly visible to local people.

Aggressors admit: 300 puppet troops fled from Samarra’ front.
The American newspaper USA Today disclosed on Wednesday that about 300 Iraqi puppet troops fled from a 750-man unit when faced with Iraqi Resistance combatants in September.
British Army Brigadier General Nigel Aylwin-Foster, the deputy commander of the Anglo-American aggressor forces for training and organizing the Iraqi puppet troops, said that on 19 September an Iraqi Resistance car bombing killed a puppet battalion officer and injured eight puppet soldiers. About 100 of the Iraqi puppet soldiers deserted after that attack. Then, by 24 September, even before the US offensive against the Resistance in Samarra’ had begun, 300 puppet soldiers had left.
Aylwin-Foster threatened the puppet troops who refused to fight for the aggressors, saying, “those who left the fight will get punished.”
