ROME \ Iraqi citizens angered by the explosion of a car bomb that killed 13 people in Baghdad on Monday later shot at several Japanese reporters at the scene, an Italian state-run television reported.

The Japanese reporters fled soon after the shooting began, according to the report. Italian TV said the situation regarding media coverage is deteriorating, with Iraqi crowds expressing their anger at foreign reporters who show up at incident sites. (Kyodo News)
