Was Lincoln wrong when he said you can't fool all the people
all the time? In an election with more tricks than a three card
monte game, the biggest trick of all may have been getting
millions of pro-lifers to vote for GW Bush - a candidate whose
family has been in the vanguard of the pro-abortion and
eugenics movements since the early years of the 20th Century.
Pro-choice or pro-life, there's bad news in store from this
administration for living things generally. GW Bush's
appointment of pro-life advocate John Ashcroft as Attorney
General is intended to divert attention from this
administration's eugenics-based population control agenda.
Many of the corporate-funded right-wing foundations
promoting family values in America -which are the sponsors of
GW Bush and virtually all of his cabinet nominees - are
advocates of eugenics, or as it is variously known, population
control or scientific racism. The true picture of their own and
the Bush families' views on abortion and race - and of their
direct links to groups like Planned Parenthood - is one of the
least reported on news stories of the past few decades.
At the dawn of the Twentieth Century American industrialists
became alarmed at the rate of population growth among
minorities and the poor. Millions of immigrants were arriving
each year in America, dramatically changing the racial and
ethnic profile of this nation. At the same time, southern Blacks
were migrating north in unprecedented numbers.
Fearful of the emerging union and social rights movements, of
minorities vastly outnumbering white Americans or of a
Marxist revolution, these industrialists saw eugenics as the
solution. Men like Rockefeller, Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie,
JP Morgan, Andrew Mellon, Averell Harriman, the Pioneer
Fund's General W. Draper and Prescott Bush began funding a
movement to promote abortion, sterilization and euthanasia as
a means of addressing this emerging "problem".
Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a driving

The Harriman family, Prescott Bush's Wall Street partners in
financing Nazi Germany, built the Eugenics Records Office at
Cold Springs Harbor NY-which is today the site for the
eugenics-based Human Genome Project. ["The Bush family
fortune came from the Third Reich...the Rockefellers had
financial connections to Nazi Germany". -John Loftus, former

Eugenics advocates present themselves as nobly trying to
improve the human race by culling out undesirable traits like
low IQ or genetic disease but there has been nothing noble
about the history of eugenics. While eugenics in the Third
Reich focused on killing Jews, Gypsies, the mentally ill and the
disabled, the targets for genetic "improvement", sterilization or
elimination in America have been African Americans, Native
Americans, Latinos and the poor.

U.S. they were able to use their influence to get 25 States to
pass eugenics laws. Hitler proudly claimed he based his racial
laws directly on the parallel American eugenics movement.

The clearinghouse for the eugenics philosophy in America has
been the Pioneer Fund, started in 1937 by General W. Draper.
After helping build the Third Reich with his Wall Street friends
Prescott Bush, Allen Dulles and Averell Harriman, Draper was
appointed Undersecretary of the Army following WWII and
placed in charge of the economic reconstruction of Germany.
To give a sense of the extent to which these industrialists
played both sides in WWII - with the full knowledge and
support of the U.S. government - none of the IG Farben
factories or the Ford, GM, ITT or Alcoa factories owned by
American industrialists in Nazi Germany were bombed during
the war despite being the industrial base of the Nazi war effort

the Twentieth Century by Christopher Simpson, 1993;

Following the Holocaust it was necessary to disguise eugenics
as something more politically acceptable. Many of the ensuing
US, European and U.N. social programs directed at promoting
birth control, vaccinations, insect control and "modern"
methods of farming in the Third World are actually
thinly-disguised eugenics programs. There is a mounting body
of evidence that AIDs was also one of these programs.
The following excerpt contains key quotes on eugenics by a
Pioneer Fund co-founder that illustrate their strategy of making
it appear beneficent. The roots of the anti-desegregation,
anti-affirmative action and anti-welfare movements in the U.S.
like the pro-abortion movement discussed below are firmly
planted in eugenics and in the work of the Pioneer Fund.

"Frederick Osborn [a co-founder of the Pioneer Fund], the key
American eugenics strategist, displayed his usual shrewdness
in 1974. "Birth control and abortion," he wrote, "are turning
out to be" major eugenic steps. "But if they had been advanced
for eugenic reasons," he added, that "would have retarded or
stopped their acceptance."...He helped John D. Rockefeller III
establish the Population Council in 1952, served as the
council's first administrator and was on its board of trustees for
many years..."We have felt this could be done far more
effectively," Osborn wrote, "in the name of the Population
Council than in the name of eugenics. . . . Personally, I think it
is the most important practical eugenic measure ever taken."
Eugenics, like racism generally, is an ideology passed from
generation to generation. The Pioneer Fund's founder General
Draper was much admired by Prescott Bush's son, former
President George Bush - as demonstrated by a Bush quote
further on in this article. Draper's son, William H. Draper III,
was co-fundraising chairman for the 1980 Bush-for-President
national campaign.
More recently the Pioneer Fund's best - known "expert" on the
alleged IQ inferiority of African Americans, Charles Murray,
has been a consultant for many of GW Bush's top advisors and
is often quoted by them. As one example, both Tommy
Thompson's and NYC Mayor Giuliani's welfare programs are
directly influenced by Murray, who is often a featured speaker
on panel discussions about them. Murray was a consultant on
the Wisconsin plan and his books, The Bell Curve and Losing
Ground, have become the "bible" of the anti-affirmative action,
school privatization and anti-welfare movements in the U.S.
These will be key texts referred to by GW's cabinet as they
perfect the work of downsizing the underclass - or as they
prefer to call it, "compassionate conservatism".
Here's what the Wall Street Journal had to say about Pioneer
Fund founder, General Draper and segregation.

"By the late 1930s...Mr. Draper developed a fascination with
racial genetics. In 1937, he helped found the Pioneer
Fund...Many eugenicists of the day, including some Pioneer
founders, believed that whites were superior to blacks in
intellect and other attributes...The charter of the Pioneer Fund
said the organization would support research and programs
aimed at "race betterment," Scholarship programs would give
special consideration to "children who are deemed to be
descended predominantly from white persons who settled in
the original 13 states."
The following is from a eugenics book introduction written by
former President Bush while he was UN ambassador. In it he
praises Draper and John D. Rockefeller 3rd, the world's leading
proponents of eugenics and describes how his father, Prescott
Bush - who made his fortune from the Third Reich - was an
early supporter of Planned Parenthood. Rockefeller's Standard
Oil owned half of IG Farben, the chemical company that built
Auschwitz and forty other Nazi slave labor/factory death
camps. Rousell-Uclaf, a division of IG Farben's largest
subsidiary, Hoechst, is the manufacturer of RU 486, the
morning after abortion pill now being promoted in the US.
Some researchers believe RU 486 is intended to cause sterility.

As President Nixon acknowledged in the following speech,
there is no man who has been more identified with population
control and eugenics than John D. Rockefeller. In light of
GW's call for bipartisanship and the willingness of Democrats
to facilitate his illegitimate eugenics-based administration, take
special note of the "bipartisan" comment in Nixon's statement.

Richard Viguerie's far right fundraising apparatus allowed GW
Bush to raise over $100 million for the 2000 campaign. It is
also intimately tied to eugenics and the Pioneer Fund and is the
same, 'high-tech political machine" referred to in the quote
below.
