A printed statement , a copy of which Al-sahwa net received, revealed the details of an initiative presented by Al-qaedah network to the Yemeni government, that the network will stop attacking the western interests in Yemen in lieu for ten conditions. One of these conditions stipulates that the government should allow what the statement described them as "Al-Mujahdeen” to join their colleagues in Iraq, Afganistan and Palestine.
The statement-attributed to Al-qaedah network in Yemen, added the branch of the organization in Yemen promised as assign of good will and credulity the Yemeni government to make it get the agreement of sheikh Osmah Bin Ladin or any other leader of Al-qaedah Universal Organization, on the Yemeni branch initiative through issuing a statement reffering to such an issue implicitly or explicitly .
The statement attacks harshly the Yemeni government, describing it as " the second partner , Comes after the apostate Pakistani regime, for the Americans in their alliance against Islam and Moslems.
It pointed out the Yemeni government rejected such an initiative saying : “ We seek peace , but the government seeks war,”.
The statement dwelled upon “ a real and consummate strategy : Sublimating Allah’s word, relieving the believers supporting the oppressed and fighting the Zionist and the Crusader alliance”. It also refers to the phrophet Mohammed holy verse refers to the phrophet Mohammed holy verse stipulating “relieving the believers at wars and hordships comes from Yemen”.
The statement threatened revenge for the murder of Abu Ali Al-Harethi, painting out the Al-qaedah network military wing termed as " Abu Ali Alharethi battalions were prepared a round the year to carry out sweeping and deadly strikes.
The statement also maintained that blowing up USS Cole was a revenge for the killing of Abu Hassan Al-mihdhar and his followers and that the operation carried out against limburg was a retaliation for the murder of Sameer Al-hada and Abu Saif Al-arhabi.
It talks about prospective formidable strikes to occur in the US.
It is to be mentioned here the Yemeni government continuously denies the existence of Al-qaedha network branch on its Soil. President Saleh described the news talking about Al-qaedha existence in Yemen as sheer rumors.
