745 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Battle in Uruzgan Kills two US Troops
KABUL (AZZAM):
A severe battle was reported to have taken place on Wednesday 15th October between the Mujahideen and US-assisted Afghan troops.
American helicopter gunships were called in to target suspected Mujahideen locations during the clashes.
The US military claims that at least ten Taliban fighters were martyred in the battle.
Following heavy fighting the Mujahideen were forced to evacuate from the village of Darawan in the Charcheenee district.
On its side, the US military verified that two of its troops were killed and 6 others seriously injured.
The names of the dead and injured were not disclosed.
Afghan Islamic Press quoted an Uruzgan government official as saying that four Taliban were killed and three arrested during the fighting.
After the Mujahideen withdrawal a house to house search was initiated.
There are currently over 1500 Afghan troops and dozens of US soldiers involved in operations against about 100 Mujahideen present in the area.
In another incident, this time between rival Northern Alliance factions, a missile was shot at a military checkpoint.
The attack took place at midnight on Wednesday near the Angorada region.
An Afghan defence ministry spokesman helplessly declared that it was almost impossible to disarm the Northern Alliance parties and stop their continued clashes.
He added that while there were still differences among the NA, there would be no use taking their weapons.
NA rival groups demanded that neutral policemen be positioned in Mazar-e-Sharif.
The German government has agreed to the demand to place some troops outside Kabul.
The first troops are expected to land in the northern city of Qunduz by the end of this month.
Meanwhile Zahir Shah's supporters protested against Karzai government in the streets of Kabul demanding that Karzai resign from his post.
