【イスラエル首脳を迎えるインド国内の反対活動】
ニューデリー発：9月9日に予定されるイスラエルのシャロン首相の訪印に対して国内に広く反対活動が行われている。
左翼政党のリーダー達は訪印に反対する運動を構えるつもりだ。
ヤッサー・アラファト氏は以前から、シャロン氏の訪印はインドがイスラエルから兵器を購入するための一環であり、このことはインドとパキスタンの緊張を増すことになるだろうと指摘していた。
インディアン・デイリー紙のインタビューでは、「シャロンは何も提示できないだろう。彼が何を言ってもインドとパキスタンの関係は悪化する。」と述べている。
より大きな計画としては、国防補佐官のブラジェシ・ミスラが5月8日のアメリカユダヤ人シオニズム委員会の定例会において、グローバル・テロリズムに対して軍事的手段で対抗する「インド・アメリカ・イスラエル枢軸」を提案している。これはテロに対してテロで対抗するということになる。
ニューデリー駐在のパレスチナ外交官は「インド政府はシャロンに対して、いつパレスチナ占領を終わりにするのかを尋ねるべきだ。」と述べている。
他のニュースレポートでは、シャロン氏の訪印は全く歓迎されておらず、政治的判断でこの訪問は中止されるべきだと述べている。
また、このような（緊張した）時期にイスラエルの首相を招くというのは、インド政府のモラルを疑うものであり政治的誤算となるだろうとも述べている。
インドは、PLOとパレスチナの権威が地に落ち、アメリカの後ろ盾によるロードマップが崩壊しつつあるなかでイスラエルが全てを鎮圧しようというこの時にシャロンに赤い絨毯を差し伸べようとしている。
インド外務省はこの事態を正当化して、「一方的関係のハンディを乗り越える」ためであり、西アジアとの「対等な関係」を築き「発言力」をつけるためと説明している。

これは危険な臭いがします。爆弾の爆発するところにはイスラエルの影というのは公式になりつつ？あるようです。10億人の人口をバックにするインドが公然とイスラエルとの（核）兵器交流を行えば世界は加速して不安定になります。
パキスタンの核技術の影にはロシアとアメリカがいると言われ、隣接するイランとまた緊張します。
イランは北朝鮮との核技術交流が疑われ、中国も黙ってはいないというドミノ現象が起こる可能性があります。
核物質の流通は事実上ひとつのシンジケートが行っているようなので、これは「悪の枢軸」にインドをリクルートしようということのようです。

NEW DELHI (India): Countrywide protests are awaiting Israeli Premier Ariel Sharon, scheduled to land in New Delhi on September 9 with several political parties, carving out a coordinated strategy to voice their sentiments against the visit.
"Mr. Sharon will see strong protests,'' the CPI (M) leader, Prakash Karat, has been quoted as saying. "We are against his visit at this juncture," he said stressing that the Left and like-minded parties were coordinating their plans for protest.
Arafat foresees Sharon visit brings Indo-Pak Tension
Earlier Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat had said that he believed an upcoming visit to India by Israeli Premier Ariel Sharon as well as India's plan to buy military hardware from Jewish state could worsen tensions between India and Pakistan.
In an interview to an Indian Daily, Yasser Arafat had stated, "Sharon can't offer anything,,,,what he is saying (will) escalate the situation and war between Pakistan and India."
Agenda
The larger agenda (of India) was highlighted in National Security Adviser Brajesh Misrha's address to the 97th annual meeting of the Zionist American Jewish Committee on May 8, where, Mishra called a unique India-US-Israel axis to fight the menace of "global terrorism" primarily by military means (fight terror with terror).
Amid preparations for protest against the visit of Mr. Sharon by several political parties, the Palestinian Ambassador in New Delhi, Omar Musa, advancing his request to India said, "I have one request to the Government of India. They must ask Mr. Sharon when he will end the occupation of Palestinian territories", said a news report.
Meanwhile another news report stressed that Indians should clearly tell Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon that he is not welcome and through political actions, Sharon's visit to India be called off.
Fateful Moment
Inviting Israel's Prime Minister at this fateful moment is a big foreign policy perversion and New Delhi has no morals or political mandate to inflict such a perversion upon Indian policy, added the report.
India is rolling out the red carpet for Sharon precisely when Israeli repression of the Palestinian struggle against occupation has reached new heights, PLO and the Palestinian Authority are in grave crisis and the US-brokered road map teeters on the brink of collapse.
"Solidarity" with Sharon totally reverses India's historical support for de-colonization and creation of a Palestinian state.
South Block (Ministry of External Affairs) rationalizes this in the name of overcoming the "handicap" of a "one-sided relationship" and having "a greater say" and "greater relevance" in West Asia, added the report.
