678 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Attacks kill 42 US and Coalition Troops Including an Afghan Commander
MEERANSHAH (AZZAM):
A total of 42 US and Coalition soldiers have been killed in multiple attacks launched by the Mujahideen all over Afghanistan.
Three military vehicles belonging to Coalition forces were also destroyed.
There have been reports of the martyrdom of 13 Mujahideen during these operations.
Government forces claim to have arrested 15 Mujahideen suspects, including three Arabs.
In the Nangarhar province, unknown gunmen opened fire in a mosque in Jalalabad city killing two worshippers and severely wounding several others.
The attackers fled the scene after firing and have not yet been apprehended.
In another civilian incident on Wednesday, a bomb exploded inside a passenger bus killing 17 people, mainly children.
Three other passengers were critically injured in the explosion.
No one has so far accepted responsibility of this attack.
In Kabul, two university students were killed and three others seriously wounded in an explosion inside a house.
The Kabul police chief said that these students were Taliban supporters and used to manufacture home-made bombs.
Mujahideen operations commenced with a major assault on government militia forces manning the Bangiwar and Shangi checkpoints in the Khost province.
The attack occurred on Wednesday night.
Ten Afghan troops were killed in this attack.
During the assault, Coalition warplanes arrived at the scene and commenced random bombardment of the area.
Ground troops also arrived to reinforce the government forces.
In the severe battle that lasted more than an hour, a further eight Coalition troops were killed.
The Afghan government forces claimed to have martyred 13 Mujahideen and arrested 15 suspects, including three Arabs.
Following the attack Coalition troops have started house-to-house search operations in the Zarmad region of the Paktia province.
Three Coalition military vehicles destroyed when a patrol went over remote-controlled mines in the Gyan region of the Paktika province.
At least ten coalition troops were killed in this attack as there remained only debris of the vehicles.
In Northern Waziristan on Tuesday evening, Afghan forces killed three men inside the Pakistan border strip.
Commander Jahan headed the Afghan militia.
Another Afghan commander in Khost claimed that the Afghan militia had neutralised a Mujahideen attack four miles from the Pakistani border.
Commander Khial Baaz said that they had found the bodies of eight Mujahideen after they forced the Mujahideen to retreat.
He also said that one Pakistani and one Arab were arrested during the encounter.
Five Afghan troops were killed in a Mujahideen ambush in Zabul.
The Authorities, however, accepted only one casualty.
No further details are available on this incident.
Clashes broke out between two opposing commanders in the Charcheena district of the Uruzgan province.
Nine troops on both sides were killed in these clashes.
The Commander of one faction is Abdul Rehman, while Amanullah heads the other.
The battle was in progress late Wednesday evening to capture Charcheena.
Governor of Uruzgan blamed Amanullah for the fighting, saying that since he was removed from the post of District Commissioner, he has started battle with government troops.
Abdul Rehman claims that Amanullah has strong links with the Taliban.
The Mujahideen killed an Afghan commander along with his son in the Helmand province.
Details reveal that four Taliban fighters came to local commander Muhammad Raheem Khan's residence and killed him along with his son.
Seven others, including a guest who is reported to be an NGO worker, were also killed in the attack.
Afghan forces have sealed the region in search of the Mujahideen.
