671 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
24 Coalition Troops Killed in Mujahideen Operations
KANDAHAR (AZZAM):
Mujahideed operations in Kandahar and Helmand have left 2 US soldiers and 22 Afghan collaborators dead.
The attacks also left several soldiers with life threatening injuries and the destruction of at least 3 vehicles.
Mujahideen forces attacked two different US bases in Kandahar on Thursday. 12 US troops were killed and several others were injured.
In another operation on Thursday one American and 6 Afghans were killed.
Also Afghan authorities report that on Thursday morning some 570 km south west of Kabul in the Deshu region of Helmand, mujahideen attacked a government building killing 7 Afghan troops and an American NGO driver.
General Saleem, commander of the Kandahar security forces, said that clashes continued after an hour of fighting.
However he did no disclose casualty figures for the attacks.
According to local sources 12 troops were killed in these clashes.
There have also been reports of Mujahideen attacks in Spin Boldak but details remain sketchy.
Taliban Special Forces have distributed pamphlets in the region warning residents not to assist the US and its allies against the Mujahideen and invokes them to do Jihad against the occupiers.
A UN convoy has been ambushed in Kandahar.
All three vehicles of the convoy were destroyed and there are no reports of any survivors.
There have been reports of fresh infighting amongst Afghan militias.
The clash left 7 Afghans dead and 19 were arrested.
In other developments the US base set-up in the residence of Mullah Omar was attacked inflicting several casualties.

US Bases Under Rocket Attack
KABUL (AZZAM):
Mujahideen forces targeted US military bases in the Kandahar and Kunar provinces.
Several rockets were fired at the bases on Thursday night at around midnight.
A US spokesman said that no loss of life was incurred due to the attacks however independent sources have confirmed that in fact heavy loss of life was incurred.
The spokesman for the Governor of Helmand province, Haji Peer Muhammad, in an interview with AFP commented that Afghan collaborative forces have started large-scale anti-Mujahideen operations in the Deshu region.
The area was at the center of a major Mujahideen assault on Afghan forces on Thursday during which several coalition soldiers were killed.
However so far the operations have been fruitless.
Five UN officials kidnapped a few days ago inside Afghanistan have been released after payment of a ransom estimated at 10 million dollars.
The supporters of Commander Ismail Khan are prime suspects in the kidnapping.
According to the new Afghan constitution, citizens below the age of 40 and above 72 years are ineligible to stand for presidential elections.
Sources have commented that this would prevent former rulers Zahir Shah, Professor Rabbani, Professor Mujadidi, Peer Geelani and others from standing in the elections.
In other developments German defense minister Peter Strict has agreed to place German peacekeeper troops outside Kabul.
The minister confirmed that troops have been positioned in Charika city outside Kabul.
