る』と告発」と同種の記事がデイリーヨミウリに掲載されているとわかりました。
デイリーヨミウリは侮れないですが、読売新聞で掲載しない所がミソだと思われます。

U.K. ex-minister accuses U.S. over Sept. 11
英国の元環境大臣が９月１１日のテロで米国を非難した

LONDON (Reuters) ? A former British minister said Saturday the United States knew about the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in advance, but failed to prevent them as they strengthened the U.S. bid for world domination.
ロンドン（ロイター）６日、英国の元大臣は、米国が９月１１日のテロについて知っていながら、世界支配のために警備を強化せよという命令を出さなかったと述べた。

Writing in the Guardian newspaper, Michael Meacher, a former environment minister in Tony Blair’s cabinet, also said Washington’s “war on terrorism” was being used as “bogus cover”for achieving wider U.S. strategic geopolitical objectives.
英高級紙「ガーディアン」の記事によると、英ブレア政権で環境大臣を務めたマイケル・メジャー氏はまた、米政府による“テロとの戦争”は、米国が戦略的かつ地理政治学的な領域を拡大するための“だまし”として使われたと述べた。

“The global war on terrorism has the hallmarks of a political myth propagated to pave the way for a wholly different agenda ? the U.S. goal of world hegemony, built around securing by force command over the oil supplies required to drive the whole project.”
「テロとの世界戦争は、全ての計画に必要な石油供給施設に対して、米軍を派遣させるための政治的神話の証拠として宣伝された。実際は世界覇権という米国の目的のためである。」

Meacher said the Sept. 11 attacks created an “invaluable pretext” for attacking Afghanistan and said the United States had intended to take military control of the Gulf region whether or not former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was in power in Iraq.
メジャー氏は、アフガン攻撃は“価値のない言い訳”として創られたものだと述べ、さらに米国は湾岸地域を支配するために軍隊を派遣したのであって、元フセイン大統領がイラクで権力を握っているからではないと述べた。

“It is clear that U.S. authorities did little ore nothing to pre-empt the events of Sept. 11,” he said.
「米当局は９月１１日のテロの前にほとんど何もしていないを見れば明らかだ」と述べた。

Meacher said a national intelligence council report warned in 1999 that Al-Qaida suicide bombers could crashland an aircraft packed with high explosives on the U.S. Defense Department, the headquarters of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency or the White House.
９９年の国家情報会議の報告書で、アルカイーダによる自爆テロ犯が高性能の爆薬を積んだ飛行機で米国防省(ペンタゴン)、ＣＩＡ、またはホワイトハウスを攻撃すると警告していた。

He also questioned the response on the morning of the attacks on New York and Washington.
メジャー氏はまた、ニューヨーク州と米政府のテロに対する反応に疑問を呈している。

“It is a U.S. legal requirement that once an aircraft has moved significantly off its flight plan, fighter planes are sent up to investigate.”
「米当局には、明らかに飛行計画を外れた飛行機に対して、戦闘機を送って調査する義務がある」と。

友人から昨日9月11日にニュースみたけど、「テロは悪い」とメールが来たので事情をメールで説明しました。無関心圏にこそ説明することが大切かなぁーと思っているこの頃です。
