A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.

Kandahar Police Chief Killed Along with Six Others

QUETTA (AZZAM):
The Mujahideen attacked a divisional police station in Ghorak, a sub-province of Kandahar, killing seven policemen including the Kandahar police chief.
Two others sustained serious injuries.
The spokesman for the Kandahar police force said that the Mujahideen came in three vehicles to carry out the attack.
The exchange of gunfire is said to have lasted for more than one hour during the incident which occurred on Tuesday night.
Afghan police sources reported that the Mujahideen also sustained loss of lives, but they had safely evacuated their martyrs and injured.
It must be noted that the Mujahideen have forbidden local people from working in any government positions.

Coalition Troops Under Attack in Khost, Urgun and Sheikh Ameer

BAGRAM (AZZAM):
A US military convoy managed to narrowly escape a bomb explosion in Khost.
The US Special Forces were heading to the southern regions of Khost for an operation when a time bomb hidden by the roadside exploded as the convoy approached.
No casualties were reported in this attack.

Elsewhere the Coalition forces were not so lucky as two military vehicles were destroyed in landmine explosions in the Sheikh Ameer region near the Pak-Afghan border.
The troops were returning from a house-to-house search operation in the area, when the front two vehicles of the convoy were blown up by landmines placed by the Mujahideen.
Sources revealed that more than five Afghan troops were killed in this attack.

The Mujahideen also launched a rocket attack on US positions in the Urgun region.
There are indications of several casualties in this attack, especially since details of the attack and the injured are being kept secret by the US. The rocket attack occurred on Wednesday night.
