643 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Pakistan Sealed Toorkham Borders
KABUL (AZZAM):
Pakistani authorities have sealed the Pak-Afghan borders at Toorkham following attacks on Pakistan high commission in Kabul and exchange of firing between Pakistani army and Karzai militia at the borders.
Pakistani authorities have also banned entry of Afghan nationals to their country.
Voice of Germany reported that only vehicles carrying trade goods are allowed to cross the border at Toorkham.
At the border in Chaman security troops of both countries have started patrolling their respected areas.
Afghan authorities have also cancelled permission letters of Pakistani vehicles heading to Kandahar via Chaman.
FIA officials of Pakistan have arrested dozens of illegal immigrants in Chaman trying to cross the Pakistan borders.
Hamid Karzai's Scheduled Visit to Pakistan Cancelled
PESHAWAR (AZZAM):
The scheduled visit to Pakistan of Afghan interim government, Hamid Karzai in August has been cancelled.
Karzai was scheduled to attend Pakistan's Independence celebrations in Islamabad on August 14.
So far there are no reports of whether he has accepted or rejected the invitation of visit.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Jamali was also due to visit Afghanistan later this month.
This visit has also been cancelled.
The cancellation came in perspective of recent border issues between the two countries.
Although Afghan defence minister will attend Indian independence celebrations on August 15.
