640 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people.
A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Six Coalition Troops Killed in Landmine Explosion Near Pak-Afghan Border
CHAMAN (AZZAM):
A military jeep carrying Afghan and coalition troops was destroyed after hitting a landmine near the Pak-Afghan borders.
The detonation occured near the Afghan border village of Gandi Khail, which is ten kilometres from Angorada.
The burnt and mangled remains of the coalition troops are yet to be removed, and are still at the site.
Large numbers of coalition troops have initiated investigations in the region, so far no arrests have been reported.
Missile and Rocket Attacks on Jalalabad and Khost Airport
NORTHERN WAZIRISTAN (AZZAM):
Mujahideen launched a ferocious missile attack on the older airport complex in the eastern Afghan province of Khost.
All the missiles hit the inner region of the airport, the entire area was heavily shaken due to intensity of the explosions.
Immediateley after the attack, the entire region was encircled by coalition forces and Afghan militia preventing an accurate estimate of casualties.
US gunships also carried out an aerial search for the attackers, however the Mujahideen safely exited.
A military convoy of 57 vehicles has arrived in the region for a fresh anti-Mujahideen operation.
A rocket attack also hit the US soldiers' residential quarters proximate to the older airport in Jalalabad.
Heavy loss of lives are anticipate in this attack;
the US press office has yet to release any details.
Kandahar Governor's Spokesman Seriously Injured in Grenade Attack
KANDAHAR (AZZAM):
Khalid Pashtun, the spokesman for governor of Kandahar - Gul Agha - was seriously injured in a grenade attack.
An unknown assailant threw grenades inside his house on Monday causing serious damage and resulting in him sustaining life threatening injuries.
Two cars parked inside the residence were also badly damaged.
The attacker fled from the region immediately after the attack.
Khalid Pashtun's residence is located near the Kandahar-Herat highway.
Afghans Protest Against Pakistan in Kabul
KABUL (AZZAM):
More than 150 Afghan nationals held a large demonstration against Pakistan in the streets of Kabul.
They were protesting against the Pakistani army entering Afghan.
Some of the protestors were chanting slogans against Musharraf and Pakistan.
They marched towards the Pakistan High Commission, but police did not allow them to enter the building.
Later, the protestors dispersed peacefully.
