アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから627日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。
彼等はキューバで無理やり顎鬚を剃られ、マラリアや熱射病、他の熱帯病に罹りやすい籠に入れられている。
●地雷爆発で連合軍兵士８名死亡
ミーランシャー（アッザーム）：
連合軍の車輌が地雷を踏み、連合軍兵士8名が死亡、他に数名の重傷者がでた。
アフガニスタン東部から来たコンボイがガルデズ-カブール・ハイウェイを走行中にその地雷爆発が起きた。
その車輌に乗っていた兵士8人は全員死亡した。また、近くにいた兵士たちも負傷（数名は危険な状態）した。
ジープはガラクタになってしまった。
●聖戦士が殉教
SYEDGAEE（アッザーム）：
カルザイ市民軍と聖戦士部隊の（複数の）戦闘で数名の（正確な数はまだ確認されていない）聖戦士が殉教したというレポートがあった。
これらの衝突は、パキスタン-アフガニスタン国境地帯近くのSyedgaee地域の検問所で起きた。
少なくとも４名のカルザイ市民軍の兵士もまたこの戦闘で死亡した。
●ザブルで50名の聖戦士容疑者逮捕
ザブル（アッザーム）：
連合軍は、聖戦士であるとの容疑で50人を逮捕したと主張した。そして、カルザイ市民軍は容疑者から対空砲4基と重武器を押収したと主張した。
米軍スポークスマンは、武器を所有していたこれらの逮捕者達は、実際にはタリバンやアル‐カーイダ戦士ではなかったので後刻釈放されたと話した。
スポークスマンは、パキスタン-アフガニスタン国境地帯地域での作戦は今のところ上手くいっているし、今後も継続すると付け加えた。
●アメリカ部隊とアフガン地方知事の民兵が衝突
ヘラート（アッザーム）：
イスマイル・カーン知事の民兵とアメリカ軍が、両者の間の誤解（不和）がもとで衝突したとのレポートがあった。
これは、ヘラート州のSheendandの地区で起きた。
20分続いた銃撃戦で3人のアメリカ兵が死んだ。

Eight Coalition Soldiers Killed in Landmine Explosion
MEERHANSHAH (AZZAM):
Eight Coalition soldiers were killed and several others injured as their military vehicle hit a landmine.
The soldiers were in a convoy on the Gardez-Kabul highway, travelling from eastern Afghanistan, when the landmine detonated.
All eight soldiers on board were killed, whilst several other nearby soldiers were wounded, some critically.
The jeep had been turned to rubble.
Mujahideen Embrace Martyrdom
SYEDGAEE (AZZAM):
There have been reports that in clashes between Karzai militia and the Mujahideen some Mujahideen embraced Martyrdom, exact numbers have not yet been confirmed.
These clashes occurred at a checkpost in the Syedgaee region near the Pak-Afghan border.
At least four soldiers belonging to the Karzai militia were also killed in the encounter.
50 Suspected Mujahideen Arrested in Zabul
ZABUL (AZZAM):
Coalition forces claim to have arrested 50 men suspected of being Mujahideen, and Karzai militia claim that four anti-aircraft guns and heavy ammunition were also recovered from the suspects.
The US spokesman stated that those in possession of the ammunition were later released as they were not in fact Taliban or al-Qaida soldiers.
The spokesman added that the operation in the Pak-Afghan border region has so far been successful and will continue.
Americans Clash With Local Afghan Governor
HERAT (AZZAM):
There have been reports of clashes between soldiers belonging to governor Ismail Khan and American troops as a result of a misunderstanding.
This occurred in the district of Sheendand of the Herat province.
Three American soldiers were killed in this exchange of fire which lasted 20 minutes.
