Six militants of Moudjahidines of the Iranian people try immoler by fire

A Paris, London and Bern, the sympathizers of OMPI require the release of their principal leading, Maryam Radjavi, in police custody with the DST, after the police operation of Tuesday.
The police operation of great width, led Tuesday June 17 against the Organization of Moudjahidines of the Iranian people (OMPI), had dramatic and unforeseen consequences. On the whole, six sympathizers of the organization tried immoler by fire in London, Bern and Paris, to require the release of their principal leading, Maryam Radjavi, placed in police custody by the direction of the monitoring of territory (DST) with 25 other members of the organization, among which 22 constitute the "heart of target" of the investigators.
As of Tuesday, a 38 year old Iranian tried immoler in front of the embassy from France in London.
Burned to 40 % and hospitalized in a serious state, it was imitated the following day, at the same place, by a 25 year old Iranian woman, like in Bern, in Switzerland, by a man expressing in front of the embassy of France.
In Paris, during the day of Wednesday June 18, three militants of the organization, who took part in a demonstration near the seat of the direction of the monitoring of territory (DST) in the 15 E district of Paris, expressed their fanaticism while aspergeant themselves of gasoline and while igniting.
The first, Marzieh Babakhani, old 42 years, seriously burned with the face and the chest, were transported to the Cochin hospital. At the semi-day, another woman, Sedighieh Mohageri, 38 years, which was apart from the perimeter of the demonstrators supervised by the police force, also tried immoler. Allowed at the military hospital Percy in Clamart (the Top-of-Seine), it was in a serious state. At the end of the afternoon, a man tried immoler in his turn.
The investigation into the attempts at immolation was entrusted to the murder squad, within the framework of an investigation of flagrancy open for non-assistance to anybody in danger, obstacle with measurements of assistance and provocation to the suicide. Two people were placed in police custody to have taken part in these attempts at immolation. In reaction, the prefect of police force of Paris, Jean-Paul Proust, decided to prohibit "until new order" any gathering OMPI.
In front of the headquarters of Moudjahidines of the Iranian people, to Auvers-on-Oise (Valley-in Oise), a few tens of sympathizers passed a second harms outside, on the pavement, while waiting for the reopening of the site and claiming the release of their head, Maryam Radjavi. According to one of the spokesman of OMPI, Behzad Naziri, "a representative of the ministry for the interior" "would have promised" to satisfy these two requests before Friday June 20. This assertion is described as "intoxication" by the DST, which recalls that at the end of the police custody 96 hours of the 22 always questioned people, only judge Jean-Louis Bruguière, responsible for legal information since April 2001, and judges it freedoms and detention (JLD) will be able to decide on a possible release or one défèrement.
"FANATIC CHARACTER"
In front of these exceptional circumstances, the director of the DST itself, however miserly of public remarks, held a press conference to give a progress report on the operation and to answer those which estimated that it amounted "crushing a fly with a hammer" . Concerning the attempts at immolation, Pierre de Bousquet de Florian recognized that the DST had not considered such a reaction, even if it " feared it". "We knew the fanatic character of the militants of OMPI and in particular the worship which sticks to Maryam Radjavi", it specified. Moreover, the director of the monitoring of the territory explained that the latter had decided to transmit a message to its sympathizers via members of his family, in order to call them with calms.
During his intervention, Pierre de Bousquet de Florian évertué himself to underline the character "terrorist" and "sectarian" of OMPI, by pointing out his history and his operating mode, "autocratic" , "which were always connected with movements of the type Khmer Rouge". According to the director of the DST, OMPI'S planned "to make apart from Iran, including in Europe but not in France, of the operations in terrorist matter" . To underline the dangerosity of OMPI, which shelters behind a "rather smooth speech on the importation of the democracy in Iran" that it describes as "escroquery ", Pierre de Bousquet de Florian recalled that in 2001 Moudjahidines of the people had asserted 195 attacks and attacks against Iran, which made civil victims.
EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS
During last months, the investigators of the DST, which is interested in the activities of OMPI since 2001, noted the massive arrival of Moudjahidines with Auvers-on-Oise. The base had become "true strong Chabrol" and the "world operational center of a terrorist organization" , according to Pierre de Bousquet de Florian. During searchings, the investigators seized nearly eight million dollars in liquid, which were in a safe and bags. They also discovered very sophisticated means of communication per satellite, a studio of television and a hundred computers whose expertise could offer invaluable information on the circuits of financing, which pass by several countries and from many bank accounts.

A score of sympathizers D the organization of Moudjahidines of the Iranian people (OMPI) decided to start Thursday in middle of morning a hunger strike in front of their seat with Auvers-on-Oise (Valley of Oise). According to Aladdin Touran, one of their spokesman, this new action of protest, 48 hours after the wave of interpellations in Paris area, began at 10 hours, and it should be completed only with the handing-over in freedom of Myriam Radjavi, wife of the founder of the movement.
The hunger strikers, ten men and as many women, sat down on a pavement in front of the seat of the movement, and of significant police force the demonstrators, very few supervise, who surround the strikers.
