アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから598日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。
彼等はキューバで無理やり顎鬚を剃られ、マラリアや熱射病、他の熱帯病に罹りやすい籠に入れられている。
●トルコで航空機墜落、平和維持部隊員74名死亡
アンカラ（アッザーム）：
スペイン部隊をカブールから運んでいたウクライナの輸送機が、トルコのトラブゾン市近郊で墜落、62人のスペイン平和維持部隊員を含む74人が死亡した。
スペイン部隊は、カブールで国際平和維持部隊として活動、４ヶ月の服務期間を終えて帰国するところだった。
ウクライナの輸送機（YK-42）は、カブール出発後にキルギスタンの首都ビシケクに立ち寄った。
ビシケクで多数のスペイン部隊が搭乗した。
航空機はトラブゾン空港で燃料を補給する予定だった。
しかし、燃料補給の為の着陸を試みた航空機はトラブゾンから50Km地点のマカ山地区で墜落した。
スペイン国防局は、航空機の墜落でスペイン兵62人が死亡したことを確認した。
死亡したのは、地上部隊40名、空軍兵21名とシビリアン・ガード1名である。
トルコの公共の通信社は、濃霧のために航空機が墜落したと言った。
航空当局は、航空機は２回着陸を試みたが失敗、3度目に山に激突したと話した。
最初の2回（の着陸）のとき、パイロットは管制塔に滑走路の走路の視界が不足していることを知らせた。
トルコの現地時間午前4時45分頃、航空機はレーダー網から消えた。
目撃者の報告によると、航空機は地上に墜ちるとすぐに燃えはじめた。
事故のニュースが入ると、トルコ軍当局者と救急車が直ちに現場に急行した。
トラブゾンの知事は、残骸の中から死体が回収されたと話した。
地元当局は、事故当時、その地域には小雨が降っていたと話した。
これは、この６ヶ月の間で3度目の『ウクライナの航空機の墜落』である
航空機が墜落する前に山に激突したところから、トルコの民間航空当局はパイロットのエラーだったと推測している。
●ハーリド・シェイクから聴取した情報でトラック・ドライバーを逮捕
ワシントン（アッザーム）：
米国情報部はオハイオ州で、橋と航空機の破壊を計画した容疑でトラック・ドライバーを逮捕した。
ニューズウィークのレポートによると、容疑者はハーリド・シェイクから聴取した情報に基づいて逮捕された。
尋問中のトラック・ドライバーは、吊橋のボルトを緩められる器具を入手するようアル・カーイダ指導者に指示されたと述べた。
レポートにはまた、他のアル・カイーダ容疑のかかっている囚人が、アメリカの地下鉄システムに対するテロ攻撃情報を明かしたとある。
FBIとCIAは、近いうちにアメリカでテロ攻撃が起きる可能性が高いと警告した。
米国当局者は「トラック・ドライバー逮捕の後はゆっくり座っていられない、他の大勢のアル・カーイダ工作員がプロジェクト完成に辛抱強く従事しているのだから」と、話した。
ニューズウィークは、UAEに拠点を置くウェブサイトalsahir.comで声明文がリリースされて以来、アメリカの情報部の緊張と不安が高まったと付け加えた。
その声明文は、48時間以内に攻撃が起きるから、ニューヨーク、ボストン、他のアメリカの沿岸部の都市から退避するよう全てのムスリムに助言したものだ。
アナリストは、これは、アメリカに居住する人々の間に恐怖と緊張を広めようとする策略だと主張した。
しかしながら、ＦＢＩとCIAは、今後30日〜90日以内のアメリカ国内でのテロ攻撃を警告した。
●ビン・ラディンの写真を飾るな！
ぺシャワール（アッザーム）：
アフガン政府は、アフガン国内でのオサマ・ビン・ラディンの写真の展示を犯罪と見なし、それを禁じた。
アフガン内務省は月曜日に、オサマ・ビン・ラディンの写真の購入・配布・展示を禁じる命令を発した。
さらに、家やレストランや他の場所にビン・ラディンの写真を飾ることも禁じられた。
この命令に違反した者は、逮捕・懲罰の対象となる。

Aircraft Carrying Peace Keeping Troops Crashes in Turkey Killing 74
ANKARA (AZZAM):
A Ukrainian transport aircraft carrying Spanish troops from Kabul crashed near Turkish city of Trabzon killing all 74 people on board, including 62 Spanish Peacekeepers.
The Spanish troops were part of the International Peace Keeping forces in Kabul and were returning home on completion of their four month tour of duty in Afghanistan.
The Ukrainian transport aircraft, YK-42, stopped over in Bishkek capital of Kyrgystan after departing from Kabul.
More Spanish troops were loaded at Bishkek.
The aircraft was scheduled to refuel at Trabzon airport.
However, the aircraft crashed 50km from Trabzon in the Maka mountain region as it was attempting to land for refueling.
The Spanish defence office verified the death of 62 of its soldiers in the aircraft crash.
The troops killed included 40 ground troops, 21 airforce troops and 1 civilian guard.
The official Turkish news agency said that the aircraft crashed because of dense fog.
Aviation officials narrate that the aircraft attempted to land twice and on the third attempt crashed in the mountain ranges.
The pilot, in the first two attempts, informed the control tower of the lack of visibility of the runway.
The aircraft disappeared from the radar screen at about 4:45AM Turkish local time.
Eyewitness accounts state that the aircraft caught fire as soon as it hit the ground.
Turkish military officials and ambulances arrived at the scene as soon as the news of crash was received.
The governor of Trabzon stated that the dead bodies had been removed from the debris.
Local authorities stated that light rain showers were occurring in the region at the time of crash.
This was the third Ukrainian aircraft crash in the past six months.
Turkish civil aviation authorities suspect pilot error, as the aircraft hit the mountains before crashing.
Truck Driver Arrested in USA on Intelligence Gathered from Khalid Sheikh
WASHINGTON (AZZAM):
The US intelligence agencies arrested a truck driver in Ohio state on suspicion of planning to destroy a bridge and an aircraft.
A Newsweek report states that the arrest was based on intelligence gathered from Khalid Sheikh.
Apparently, the truck driver under interrogation stated that he was directed by al-Qaeda leaders to obtain instruments which could be used to loosen the bolts of the suspension bridge.
The report also states that other suspected al-Qaida prisoners have disclosed information of terrorist attacks on US subway systems.
FBI and CIA have both warned of the high probability of terrorist attacks in the US in the short term.
The US authorities has said that they will not sit with ease after arrest of the truck driver, as numerous other al-Qaeda operatives are occupied in patient completion of their projects.
Newsweek added that there has been raised tension and anxiety among US intelligence agencies after release of a statement on a UAE based website alsahir.com.
The statement advised all Muslims to evacuate New York, Boston and other coastal US cities as attacks would be forthcoming within 48 hours.
Analysts claimed that this was a tactic to to spread fear and tension among US residents.
However, the FBI and CIA warned of terrorist attacks in US in the next 30 - 90 days.
Display of Bin Laden's Photograph in Afghanistan Banned
PESHAWAR (AZZAM):
The Afghan government has banned displaying Usama bin Ladin's photograph any where in Afghanistan, and termed it as a crime.
The Afghan interior ministry released an order on Monday that prohibited the purchase, distribution and display of Usama bin Laden's photographs.
Furthermore, it is banned to display Bin Laden's photograph in houses, restaurants and other places.
Violation of this directive apparently will result in arrest and punishment.
