●地雷爆発で死者2名
スピン・ボルダック（アッザーム）：
聖戦士の小隊が設置した地雷で軍用車が爆破され、死者2名、他に重傷者が3名でた。
同じ地域のアフガニスタンの検問所が攻撃されて軍用車が奪われ、5人（の警備兵）が捕虜になった。
●北部同盟の戦闘で16人が死亡
バルフ（アッザーム）：
北部のバルフ州で、北部同盟のタジク人とウズベク人の間で戦闘があり、16人が死亡したとの報告があった。
●情報機関チーフ襲撃
パクティカ（アッザーム）：
聖戦士は、パクティカ州の情報機関チーフ兼アメリカの雇われ者シャー・バッズを襲撃した。
重機関銃とロケットによる攻撃で、彼の住居は酷いダメージを受け、情報機関チーフは重態だと言われている。
●警察副署長Shah Wali Khalqi襲撃
パクティカ（アッザーム）：
アメリカに後援された警察副署長の住居がロケットと手榴弾で攻撃され、副署長の兄弟が死亡、ボディガード3名が重傷を負った。

●ナンガルハルの上級閣僚暗殺
ぺシャワール（アッザーム）：
アフガニスタンのナンガルハル州の上級閣僚が身元不明の男達に暗殺された。
数名の銃撃者がその閣僚（アブドゥラ博士）が乗っていた車を銃撃し、アブドゥラ博士はその場で死亡した。
情報筋は、その事件は博士が他の目的地に行く途中のKhogia地区で起きたと明かした。
待ち伏せ攻撃の後、攻撃者は首尾よく脱出した。
攻撃の後、その地区と他の政府閣僚のセキュリティが強化された。

A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Mujahideen Unit Kill Two in Land-Mine Explosion
SPIN BOLDAK (AZZAM):
A small Mujahideen unit killed two and critically injured three others when a land mine placed by them detonated beneath a military vehicle.
In the same region an Afghan checkpost was attacked and five taken as prisoners together with their military vehicle.
Northern Alliance In Fighting Kills 16
BALKH (AZZAM):
In the northern provinces of Balkh, there have been reports of Northern Alliance in fighting between Tajik and Uzbek groups which has to date resulted in the death of 16.
Intelligence Chief Attacked
PAKTIKA (AZZAM):
Sher Baaz, the Chief of Intelligence in Paktika and on the American pay-roll was attacked by Mujahideen.
Heavy machine gun fire and rockets sprayed his residence, and the Chief of Intelligence is said to be in a critical condition whilst his place of residence is badly damaged.
Deputy Police Chief Shah Wali Khalqi Attacked
PAKTIKA (AZZAM):
In another effective Mujahideen operation, the American sponsored Deputy Police Chief residence was attacked with rockets and hand grenades killing his brother and inflicting severe injuries on three of his bodyguards.

Nangarhar Senior Minister Assassinated
PESHAWAR (AZZAM):
A senior minister from the Nangarhar province in Afghanistan has been assassinated by unknown men.
The minister, Dr. Abdullah, was killed on the spot when the car he was travelling in was sprayed with bullets by several gunmen.
Sources disclosed that the incident occurred in the Khogia region while he was on his way to another destination.
The attackers managed to escape after the ambush.
Following the attack, security has been tightened in the area and also around other government ministers.
