アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから576日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。
彼等はキューバで無理やり顎鬚を剃られ、マラリアや熱射病、他の熱帯病に罹りやすい籠に入れられている。
●ザーブル州でタリバンとアフガン軍が戦闘中

連合軍はアフガン各地で、タリバンとアル・カーイダに対する大規模な作戦を開始した。
しかし、聖戦士部隊も米軍に対する攻撃の頻度を増すことで反撃している。
未知の攻撃者が、カブールとカンダハルを結ぶハイウェイで地雷除去チームを銃撃した。
地雷除去チームのドライバーが即死、他に二人が致命的な傷を負った。
土曜日の夜、ヘルマンドのカチキ・ダム（アフガニスタン唯一のダムで、カンダハルと他の都市に電力を供給している）がロケットで攻撃された。
攻撃は非常に激しく、その結果、カンダハルと周囲都市への電力供給が出来なくなった。
アフガニスタン軍は、直ちに犯人の捜索活動を開始した。
アフガニスタンの情報筋は、数人の有力なタリバン指揮官を含む20人のタリバン容疑者の逮捕をレポートした。
ザーブルではタリバンとアフガン軍と戦闘が3日の間続いている。マザリシャリフ付近で爆発があり、2人が死亡、他に30人が重傷を負った。
この爆発によって建物も多数、損害を蒙った。
アフガニスタンの当局者はまた、スピンボルダックでの作戦で9人のタリバン容疑者を逮捕したとレポートした。
タリバンとアル・カーイダの残党に対する連合軍による大規模な捜索活動がパクティア州ビールマル地区で行われている。
●「カルザイ政府と合衆国軍隊に対するジハードは続く」（ムッラー・ハサン・ラフマニ）
カブール（アッザーム）：
前カンダハル知事でタリバンの上級指導者ムッラー・ハサン・ラフマニは、合衆国とそアフガン駐留を続けるその同盟国に対するジハードを宣言した。
BBCによると、ムッラー・ハサンは長い間身を隠していたが、この声明は秘密の場所から衛星電話を介してロイター通信社に送られた。
アナリストは、彼のジハード宣言は、この十字軍戦争におけるタリバンの増加している成功のもう一つのサインだと予測する。

A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Clashes between Taliban and Afghan Militia in Zabul Continues, Whilst Explosions Rocks Mazar-e-Sharif
MEERANSHAH (AZZAM):
Coalition troops begin large scale operation against Taliban and al-Qaida Mujahideen in various regions of Afghanistan, but Mujahideen units also counter-attack by increasing frequency of attacks over US and its allies.
Unknown assailants opened firing over a team of mine removal experts on the highway connecting Kandahar and Kabul.
The driver of the of the team was killed instantly while two others sustained life threatening injuries.
On Saturday night the only dam in Afghanistan, the Kachki dam in Helmand, providing electricity to Kandahar and other cities came under rocket fire.
The attack was of such severe nature that it resulted in loss of power supply to Kandahar and the surrounding cities.
The Afghan forces immediately initiated an operation to find the perpetrators.
Afghan sources reported of the arrest of 20 Taliban suspects including some important Taliban commanders.
For the third consecutive day clashes between Taliban and Afghan militia in Zabul continues. A bomb explosion near Mazar-e-Sharif left two killed and 30 others seriously injured.
Many buildings were also damaged due to the explosion.
Afghan official also reported of arresting nine Taliban suspects in an operation in Spin Boldak.
A large scale search operation was also underway by Coalition forces in Beermal region of Paktia province searching for Taliban and al-Qaeda "remnants".
"Jihad Will Continue Against Karzai Government and US Forces", Mulla Hasan Rehmani
KABUL (AZZAM):
Former governor of Kandahar and senior Taliban leader Mulla Hasan Rehmani proclaimed Jihad against US and its allies will continue inside Afghanistan.
According to the BBC, Mulla Hasan has been under cover for a long time, but this statement was released to news agency Reuters via a satellite phone from a secret location.
Analysts predict that his declaration of Jihad is another sign of increasing Taliban success in this crusade.
He urged the Muslim Nation and the Afghans in particular of the obligation of Jihad against a foreign force as well as the Karzai government.
He further continued, stating that Karzai is no more than an American puppet and bears no importance in front of the Northern Alliance.
His statement was released after that of Mulla Daad-ullah, the trustworthy adviser of Mulla Muhammad Omar Mujahid.
It is apparent that a strong communication link between the Taliban Commanders still continues despite the effort of the Coalition's attempt to hamper it.
