アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから547日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。

●パクティア州の検問所で銃撃戦
ミーランシャー（アッザーム）：
パクティア州ゼーロク（Zeerok）の検問所が、猛烈な攻撃に遭った。
この攻撃による死者は12名、重傷者は3名。
情報筋によると、カカイー（KaKaee）司令官はパクティア州ゼーロクに不法な検問所をセットアップし、
其処を通過する全ての乗物に、身代金として2000-3000アフガニの支払いを要求していた。
司令官の部下がアマヌッラーと仲間のカルザイに5000アフガニの身代金の支払いを要求したが、彼等は支払いを拒否し、小競合いが始まった。
激しい銃撃戦がその地区を揺すった。
この衝突でアマヌッラーと彼の仲間が死に、他に彼の部下３名が重傷を負った。
カカイーの兵士も4人死んだ。ニッカという所で他に6人が死んだ。
後ほど、連立軍部隊が到着し検問所を撤去した。
●ジャララバードのアフガニスタン軍本部で爆発
ジャララバード（アッザーム）：
外国の通信社は、ジャララバードのアフガン軍第１４守備隊の本部で爆発があったと報じた。
この爆発で、サイッド・ラーマン副司令官とアフガン兵３名が重傷を負った。
ジャーナリストとメディア・チームは爆発後の本部への立ち入りを許されなかった。
爆発の後、本部から煙の暗雲が立ち昇るのが見えたと目撃者は報告した。
爆発はタリバンによるものと思われるが、今のところ犯行声明はでていない。

A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where their beards were forcibly shaved and they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases.
Miscellaneous Attacks in Paktia, 12 Killed
MEERANSHAH (AZZAM):
A check-post in Zeerok town in Paktia came under a heavy attack.
12 people were killed and three others seriously injured in this attack.
Sources disclose that commander KaKaee has setup an illegal checkpost in Zeerok town of Paktia province.
Every passing vehicle must pay 2000 - 3000 (Afghani) as a ransom at the checkpost.
When the commander's men asked Amanullah and his companion Karzai to pay a ransom of 5000, they refused to pay, instead a clash started between the opponents.
Severe firing from both sides rocked the region.
During this encounter Amanullah and his companion were killed while three other of his men sustained life threatening injuries.
Four soldiers of Kakaee were also killed in this encounter.
Six others were also killed at a place called Nikka.
Later on coalition troops arrived in the region and removed the check-post.
Explosions at Afghan Military Headquarters in Jalalabad
JALALABAD (AZZAM):
A foreign news agency reported that bomb explosions occurred inside 14 Garrison Headquarter of Afghan Military in Jalabad.
Afghan deputy commander Syed Rahman and three other Afghan soldiers were seriously injured in the explosion.
Journalists and media teams were not allowed entry to the headquarter after the explosion.
Eye witnesses account that dark clouds of smoke were seen rising from the headquarter after the explosion.
No one has so far accepted the responsibility of the attack, although it is suspected that it is the work of the Taliban.
