　イラン・イラク両国間で、捕虜の交換や戦死した兵士の遺体の
交換が行われているようですよ。今回の戦争で中断中のようです。

Iraq puts exchanging remains of soldiers with Iran on hold

Shalamcheh, Khuzestan prov, March 26, IRNA -- Iraq has halted
exchanging the remains of those killed in action in the war with Iran,
Iranian officials said in this southern border region in Khuzestan
province Wednesday.
Iraqi officials have said that they presently are not ready to
negotiate and cooperate with Iran on the exchange of remains of those
killed during the 1980-1988 imposed war, officials said.
The two sides were scheduled to exchange the bodies of their
soldiers at Fakkeh and al-Emareh borders, they added.
Iran and Iraq recently agreed to release the remaining prisoners
of war. The two sides exchanged a total of 1,239 prisoners as the
countdown for US-led invasion of Iraq began.
Iran returned 888 prisoners of war to Baghdad at the Khosravi
border crossing post, near Qasr-e Shirin. Iraq handed over 351
Iranians at the same spot.
"With this exchange, there will be no more Iraqi prisoners in
Iran," Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said at the
time.
Last year, the Geneva-based International Committee of the Red
Cross (ICRC) said it had supervised the repatriation of more than
97,400 PoWs since the Iran-Iraq conflict.
However the fate of thousands of combatants listed as missing in
action (MiA) remains a source of tension between the two countries.
