01 2003年4月：
アメリカがイスラムとイスラム教徒に対する最新の十字軍戦争を開始してから541日が過ぎた。
大勢のムスリム捕虜がこの十字軍に捕らえられてキューバのグアンタナモ湾へ連行された。

Battle Between Taliban and Coalition Troops in Uruzgan Continues
KANDAHAR (AZZAM):
Fierce fighting between taliban and coalition troops has continued on the second consecutive day in the intermediate mountainous terrain between Kandahar and Uruzgan.
US sources have said that 15 mujahideen were killed and a dozen were captured.
An important taliban leader was among those killed.
Taliban sources have disclosed that 12 coalition troops have been killed so far.
Heavy weapons were used by both sides.
More than one thousand US and Afghan troops are facing great resistance posed by mujahideen positioned inside bunkers within the mountains.
In another attack, US troops were ambushed by mujahideen in Helmand, killing 2 US troops.
A spokesman for the governor of Kandahar said that the arrested taliban fighters openly pronounce that they are making Jihad against the aggressors and that it will continue until victory is reached.
Mujahideen targeting the US military base in Jalalabad fired three rockets.
One of the rockets hit an oil storage tank and set it ablaze.
One Afghan soldier was seriously injured in this attack.
Peace Keeping Forces Headquarters Come Under Rocket Attack in Kabul
KABUL (AZZAM):
International peacekeeping forces headquarters in Kabul came under rocket attack by mujahideen.
Two rockets penetrated the inner region of the headquarters.
The headquarter is located in the heart of kabul city.
The US consulate is also situated nearby.
Another rocket attack was made at the peacekeeping forces office near Pul Charkhi in the eastern part of Kabul city.
The police attended the region and investigations are under way.
The police officials hesitated to disclose any losses in the attacks.
